Gene blanked a moment from Zapmon's words, before looking at the dragon hiding behind him, then at crystal with a blank expression "... you -slept- with Taiki?" of course, this led to him cleaning both his ears with his fingers, before looking at Zapmon with a raised eyebrow "did they use protection at least?" he asked in amusement, as if curious, course, he showed no hositility over it, so it seemed he was fine, if not a bit amused at Zapmon digging her grave again by being a blabbermouth. in either case things were definitely amusing people, well, most people.
Jake of course, once out of reach of crystal and the others, began working more on his new powers and capabilities, even looking into the discs that he had gotten that went into his blade, and working to find out more about the gauntlets. Lemina finally went back to her human form and began working on trying to remove the odd... watch thing that was on her arm, only for it to open up some, and give out a holographic representation of her adult form as Seadramon, blinking in confusion, she turned the watch, and it shifted to look like a being made of flame, something she recognized as meramon as she sweatdropped "... so all this thing is is a digital data recorder and analyzer? how lame..." she mumbled before slapping down on the watch as if to shove it back into it's base mode, only to have an upswell of data and such surging through her, causing her to go wide-eyed before being enveloped in a golden haze of energy "Betamon... Digitrix-Shinka~!" she cried out, suddenly having her human form melt off to show her betamon form underneath explode into flames as if spontaneously combusting, before the flames slowly converged, forming into a new body, one with a somewhat looking stitched up mouth "Meramon!" she called out, still looking female if the curvy flames were any indication, but she did have a patch of green flames that did look similar to the digitrix on her chest "what... what just happened to me...? how'd i become Meramon...?" of course, now she was confused, -very- confused by all this.
Shiro of course had managed to get away from Roveth for now and was tryign to talk his certain female members of his team into -not- agreeing over him drinkign with roveth and Banchou Hitsuzenmon, only to have Fairymon and Ranamon both appear, and frog-march him to where diner will take place, and proceeded to keep him there and not able to move, though Fairymon -was- usually more motherly, she was just as mischevious as Ranamon was. Kudamon didn't help given she was actually amused and appeared curled around Shiro's neck smiling innocently and cutely enough for Shiro thought the kudakitsune agreed with the other girls.
Roveth? of course he was waiting with Impmon in amusement as well, though he was also keeping tabs with Sangloupmon who was keeping his eyes on things with the spy network and trying to slowly -recruit- more spies straight from Skull Graildramon's army with words here and there.

"You mean whatever was in those boxes from Roveth that everyone kept freaking out about?" Zapmon blinked obliviously before shrugging. "I really don't know because Yuki Agumon and Slashmon made sure I couldn't get out of the Xros Loader, let alone see anything."
"Because unlike you, they actually know the meaning of the word 'privacy'," Crystal grumbled.
"I still don't get why you needed 'privacy' to share a room together," Zapmon declared fully demonstrating her own ignorance about the situation.
Dorumon materialized from Crystal's Xros Loader to grab Zapmon by the tail to begin dragging her inside where the food was being prepared.
"Just forget about it Zapmon," Dorumon spoke up while dragging her away. "You probably won't understand until you're older. Can't you see Crystal and Gene have some catching up to do?"
"But I want to know what happened!" Zapmon protested, digging her claws into the ground and carving out a trail as she was being dragged away. It wasn't any use though. Dorumon was both larger and physically stronger so all he had to was lift Zapmon off the ground, tucking her under his arm, to finish carrying Zapmon away to the kitchen.
"I owe you one Dorumon," Crystal sighed with some relief once Zapmon was escorted away. She turned her attention back to Gene, still looking a little bit embarrassed and flustered, but nowhere near as much as she had been while Zapmon was busy running her mouth. "Yes, I slept with Taiki. Yes we used protection. It's not like it's the end of the world or anything. It just kind of happened is all."
She scratched behind her ear and let out another sigh. "But bloody hell, I really wish Zapmon wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. I swear she's more curious than a horde of kittens."

Gene snorted watching Dorumon cart Zapmon off and all while smirking a bit lightly as he walked over transforming into his Black Fladramon form "good to hear, cause i don't think you want to make Jake or any of us babysit your kids just yet." he decided to rib about teasingly while shaking his head "but still, that Roveth.. sheesh, he has blackmail on just about -everybody- we know, even if it has come in handy from time to time." he said musingly before looking to the sky a bit "maybe after this it'll settle down some.. ne? hmm.. speaking of relationships, any ideas on who to hook Jake up with?" he decided to ask in amusement, given he had very few ideas, and he figured if he could get Crystal on a different topic she'd calm down from the taiki one.
Roveth watched as Dorumon and Zapmon go right past him in amusement while he waited for dinner to begin, merely closing his eyes as a head poke through the shadows his back was giving with the lighting, and looked to Sangloupmon as the wolf peered about "been at it again, Aniki?" he asked, while Roveth chuckled a bit "maybe i have. either way, how much has the army grown since we left?" Sangloupmon sighed while frowning a bit "about 10 to 25% more than it currently was, supposedly, and it keeps on growing. we need to hurry before it grows too big for even us to handle." Roveth had taken a serious look as he looked towards the opposite wall "what about those rumors you heard?" Sangloupmon winced, and nodded "Hai, Aniki... it seems SkullGraildramon has... heard of old enemies of crystal and Jake's especially, he may try to revive -them-, as well as create a copy of Shiro's partners in their fullest form as Warmon, though that is even more of a rumor than anything. there may be also some other enemies we've faced in the past, though those are unconfirmed." Roveth bit his lower lip while clenching his arm a bit as they were crossed "for -them- to show up... we need to warn Crystal, so -someone- can keep an eye on Jake, if there's -anything- that can rile him up, and possibly bring back... his inner beast, it'd be -those- fools..."
Jake sneezed a bit, before looking around as he shrugged, and proceeded to slip a disc into the slot of his sword, one that was 'Fire Dragon Slayer' and felt the sword somewhat dig into the gauntlets before injecting him with knowledge as he winced in pain, before his eyes changed, becoming slitted within the illusion as he proceeded to rear his fist back "Karyu no... TEKKEN! (Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!)" and proceeded to slam his fist to the ground, creating cracks and fissures while also the blaze of orange red fire launching out, showing the power of a dragon, making Jake look minutely more intimidating with the flames rolling off him. Lemina meanwhile was still freaking out over her new form and unfortunately her freak-out caused her to unleash a mild version of Magma Bomb to create small chunks of magma rock to pelt the area, even Jake, who actually responded by somehow... eating the Lava rocks, and stomaching the fiery temperatures.

"Hm, well we don't really know for sure whether or I not I can have kids, but regardless, I don't want to tempt fate on that one. Hanyou are rare to begin with and so few survive to adulthood that there are only a handful of places, like Horai Island, where hanyou aren't persecuted by humans or youkai so they can actually settle down and possibly start a family so long as their mixed heritage didn't sterilize them. That's always a possibility with cross-species genetics," noted Crystal. "But since we don't know for sure whether or not that's the case with me, it's best to play it safe."
"As for Jake," Crystal gladly switched to the new topic. "I really don't know. I tend not to play into the whole matchmaker thing and Jake has been so preoccupied with the Digimon Hunt that I haven't seen him show much of an interest in anyone, human or otherwise. And there's no sense in asking for an opinion from Banchou Hitsuzenmon because if she's anything like Yuko, then she would suggest finding him a boyfriend, but I don't think he swings that way."
"What about Akari?" Yuki Agumon suggested from inside Crystal's Xros Loader. "Since you've taken Taiki off her hands, that would mean she's available, right?"
"I suppose that's true," Crystal admitted, scratching behind her ear again. She still felt a little guilty about that.
"Dinner is served!" The two Butterflymonz declared in unison.
"I guess we can discuss Jake's relationship status later," Crystal concluded. "Sounds like right now it's time to eat... and drink." She cringed a little at that last part.
Inside the shop, Strabimon was busy at work setting the last of the dishes on an elegant hardwood dining table covered from end to end in various restaurant quality dishes that all smelled absolutely heavenly. Banchou Hitsuzenmon sat at the head of the table with Kuroi Culumon seated in the chair to her right leaving plenty of room elsewhere at the table for everyone else to assemble for the evening's meal.
Zapmon had completely forgotten being upset about being dragged off by Dorumon in favor of devouring what was probably the most savory meal she'd seen in her entire life.

Gene nodded while following crystal inside, food always helped his own head while he pondered on Jake and Akari, more particularly Jake since hew knew how much of a work-a-holic the stable hybrid was. "might be a good idea to see if Jake and Akari could get along together, but more importantly find out if she can handle his 'presence' whenever he snaps." he shuddered a bit, knowing full well that -any- girl would have a problem keeping Jake down if they were affected by his 'presence, he then took a bite to eat "we could ask Venusmon if she could see those two together once we're back home." he said in amusement while returning his focus to the food, only -very- lightly proceeding to drink some sake, out of politeness.
Roveth of course was eating, chatting it up with Impmon and Kuroi Culumon in various topics, well, various -nefarious- topics, given how well versed Roveth could be in such things. literally, he'd be a mafia crime boss if he was actually wanting to pull a 'Grand Theft Auto' moment with all his info digging and everything. granted he also played his pranks well, and with him on a booze high, as evidenced of tasting some of the wares he got for Banchou Hitsuzenmon, as well as liberally drinking his -own- stash, he could hold his own in liquor and -still- be coherent.
Shiro of course ate quietly while for now avoiding the booze since he had to keep Ranamon and Fairymon -AND- Kudamon in check from them trying to sneak sips of alcohol into him and such, granted it was no surprise he was failing miserably and the slight red tinge on his cheeks and slight drunk giggle was beside the point, he still ate coherently enough to not look like the moving vacuum that was Zapmon.
Jake meanwhile was currently outside trying to calm Lemina down, when about 5 minutes or so into the dinner the glowing green part of her flames beeped, turned crimson red, before the energy drained from LEmina and left her back in her human form, completely spent while the watch itself wasn't green, but red, signaling it needed time to recharge, of course, once a bit more conversation was added about the watch thing between the two, they headed in and also joined in on the festivities of food, though thankfully having missed gene's ongoing conversation of Jake's love life with Crystal.

Zapmon wasn't the only digimon chowing down on the delectable spread. As soon as Crystal stepped into the dining room the rest of the digimon inside of her Xros Loader burst out to have a go at the yummy food made by Strabimon. The fact that even large ultimates such as Cannondramon, Hououmon, and Skull Mammothmon could fit in the room without severely overcrowding the place made it abundantly clear that the building was larger inside than it was on the outside.
Crystal shrugged it off, helped herself to some food, and decided not to think too deeply into how this kind of architecture was even possible. As far as the drinking was concerned, she sipped at some coffee liqueur and sampled a little bit of the more sweet sake that was available, but she wasn't going for any of the strong stuff and she was drinking at such a slow rate that it wasn't having much of an effect on her.

Partway through the meal, once the more evolved digimon with smaller appetites were finished eating and had returned to their respective general's Xros Loaders to let things digest for awhile so that only the younger digimon with their far greater appetites remained outside devouring what was left of the food, a rift appeared a short distance above the table. Out fell Zenjirou, Taiki, Kiriha, Akari, and Nene, in that order, landing comically in a pile on the table amidst the remaining food and startled baby digimon.
"Did we make it?" asked Kiriha. He couldn't tell anything for himself since he was stuck in the middle of the pile.
"I think so," Nene answered while sliding down off the others. "It looks like we made it in time. The others are still here."
"That's a relief," added Akari. "Wisemon was barely able to get us here, let alone to that other digital world Tagiru kept rambling on about."
"The reinforcements have arrived," Banchou Hitsuzenmon declared, raising her glass high before downing its contents in just one big gulp.
Did Banchou Hitsuzenmon plan for this all along? Crystal wondered to herself. Is that why she stalled us with chores and made us wait around for dinner even though it'll give Skull Graildramon even more time to expand his army?
"You're very perceptive," Banchou Hitsuzenmon responded as though she really could hear Crystal's thoughts on the matter.

Roveth looked amused at seeing Blue flare and Xros Heart show up, and just snickered a bit while clearly drunk, he was -damned- good in keeping his mental clarity in mind as he moved to sit near Crystal, though he kept his bad breath away by merely turning the chair to face away from Crystal didn't mean he couldn't be heard by her "you'd be right in growing his army... it's grown by 25% last time i heard from Sangloupmon about a half-hour ago, along with rumors about some old enemies of yours and Daemon's only success of a digital Hybrid." he then took a deep sip from his bottle, sighing ".... something about 'Chaos Lord' or some such things." he then scooted back to his spot to continue drinking and such against Banchou Hitsuzenmon.
Shiro of course was singing along merilly with Ranamon and Fairymon, not particularly wasted enough to have a hangover, but decently buzzed to easily be taken advantage of, which Kudamon was whispering ideas to the two girls out as well as the renamonz inside the Xros Loader, and Coronamon too., Shiro did notice Taiki and the others come in though and gave a smile "yo welcome to the party~!" he somewhat sung out, he had a pretty good voice, not as great as Nene's, but it wasn't too bad, easily something for people to tease about later.
Gene of course listened in on Roveth's words, only to narrow his eyes at the mention of chaos Lord, which made him glance to jake out of the corner of his eye, he wasn't particularly drunk himself, but he did like Crystal and only sampled a bit of liqeur here and there, particularly anything cinnamon tasting or butterscotch.
Jake of course just sweatdropped at Roveth's drinking habits, as well as Shiro's lowering guard an all before he shook his head and took a few bites of food "geez... and people wonder why i wouldn't drink..." he mumbled, while Lucia and Lemina also ate quietly, Lucia cause she was shy, Lemina since she had more on her mind than money for once, otherwise she'd have betting pools on both Shiro's digimon getting Shiro laid finally, or Roveth winning his drinking contest with banchou Hitsuzenmon, which was even less likely, but would've still made a killing if done just right.

The digimon belonging to Xros Heart and Blue Flare quickly caught on about the food and rapidly materialized to have a go at it while the generals were busy getting settled themselves.
Crystal frowned at the mention of Skull Graildramon's steadily growing army, especially at the mention of Chaos Lord. Had he and his Chaos Generals truly managed to configure themselves again already? The last time Chaos Lord had bothered to show himself, Crystal had been on her own and, without Jake there to support her, had relied heavily on Xros Heart and Blue Flare to pull off some kind of miracle to put a stop to that particular group of evil digimon. If Kiriha hadn't cooperated with Taiki long enough to produce Shoutmon X3 GM, there was no way any of them could have taken the dreaded fusion of Chaos Lord and the Chaos Generals into Neo Crimson. Especially with the recent addition of Chaos Dukemon among their ranks.
Which means that Jake probably doesn't know that Chaos Dukemon has joined the ranks of the Chaos Generals, Crystal thought with some concern, making a concentrated effort to keep these thoughts to herself so as not to have Jake exploding at the dinner table. No doubt, he's going to be pissed about running into Chaos Lord again, but he'll be even angrier to see Chaos Dukemon with him. She sighed heavily. This is going to get seriously ugly.
Thankfully, the arrival of Xros Heart and Blue Flare did make it somewhat easier for Crystal to mask her concerns by focusing on how glad she was to see her other friends and relieved by how much having them along would increase the group's overall fighting strength.
"So, from what I hear you lot were conspiring to go on ahead without us," Kiriha voiced his disapproval of the original plan. "Did you really think we were going to let you guys have all the fun?"
"Of course not," Zapmon retorted. "Crystal was counting on Taiki from the beginning, but she wasn't sure how long it would take for him to rally the rest of the team so she was preparing for the worst case scenario just in case."
Zapmon's commentary naturally elicited trace amounts of blushing from both Crystal and Taiki before both quickly looked away from each other to pretend they hadn't heard anything about that.
"Hang on, is Shiro drunk?" Zenjirou remarked because, of course, that was the one thing that really stood out to him given the situation.
"Shiro's digimon have been 'encouraging' him to drink more than he's accustomed to," Slashmon explained helpfully. Slashmon himself was actually indulging in some good sake like it was completely natural for him to be doing so. Then again, he did manage a hot spring resort and hot springs are a traditional place to enjoy sake, so Slashmon probably wasn't a stranger to drinking on occasion. And drinking with Banchou Hitsuzenmon was certainly occasion enough as far as Slashmon was concerned.
"I see," Nene mused to herself before secretly dispatching her Monitamonz to spy on Shiro and his digimon just in case they did anything interesting.
"So, Yuu agreed to stay behind in the human world with Tagiru to assist the other hunters in case there is another invasion while we're gone," Taiki decided to explain what his group was even doing there. "Yuu has plenty of strong digimon so he should be able to carry the others if he has to, but we all decided that this battle probably too much for Ren, Ryouma, Airu, and Tagiru so that's why we're making them sit this one out. The rest of us have more experience so it makes sense for us to be looking out for them and keep them out of danger as much as possible."
"Not to mention, after what we heard from Tagiru, we couldn't just let you all go without some more backup," added Akari. "I know you guys have a bad habit of being reckless and crazy, but this isn't just your fight and you all know it."
"Guilty as charged," Crystal confessed. "It's good to have you here to keep us in check."
Of course, she was a little worried about what the others were likely to see once the real battle got started. Crystal had already decided that she and Zapmon wouldn't be holding back against Skull Graildramon or his army so that meant they were going to be demonstrating an insane amount of power that they hadn't touched since first arriving in the Xros Wars universe. She hoped it wouldn't scare them too much.

Roveth had smirked a bit evilly while watching things, though it was more his general evil smirk than the 'someone's -so- ********' evil smirk as he spoke up "well, i think we'd have been okay somewhat, we're not slouches either." he said before turning to spy Shiro actually giving deep french kisses with Ranamon and Fairymon and even Kudamon got some tongue-play which got Roveth using a flashless camera to catch the action with photos "whoo! go Hikari Go!" he called while drinking more booze with a cackle before looking to Zenjirou "yup, he's drunk, and it's not just ranamon and Fairymon's idea, it's kinda mine too. he needs to unwind a bit."
Shiro of course had his attention on his partners with him until one more saucer drink or two, and Ranamon and Fairymon figured he had enough to properly get him going, before hauling him up after letting him eat some food, and dragged him off quickly, not before leaving the Xros Loader while the renamonz and Coronamon (and the other Kudamonz!) ditched the Xros Loader as well to join in with the others, and Tactimon finally showing himself to hold onto Shiro's Xros Loader, though chuckling in amusement while setting down at the table to get some food for himself (Guilmon also pops out here for anything bread-like.) "it seems that we shall be working together for once, Shoutmon. think we can handle this new threat, Digimon King?" he asked with a veiled smirk under his mask and all.
Gene just watched as shiro got dragged away, and noticed a few Bakemonz being released to tail them along with Nene's Monitamonz as well "... well, we have been harping on him to loosen up some and actually please his girls." he said with amusement while looking to Taiki "don't break Crystal's heart, please. otherwise i might not be so inclined to be -nice- if i have to come hunt you down." he said with seriousness, but albeit still light enough to make others think nothing of it, but Taiki would probably know that Gene knows about -that- particular incident, especially with him seeing Roveth drunk and crazy at the moment.
Jake of course just rolled his eyes at Gene a bit before sighing lightly "well, most of us are reckless and crazy, i tend to be neither, mostly." he said while playing things off as Lucia snorted a bit lightly "before or -after- you snap?" of course, this led to jake wincing, and rubbing the back of his neck "oh come on Lucia, i haven't blow up in forever, that was just a minor... hiccup if you will i used on Lemina." of course Lucia sighed, shaking her head "you honestly need someone to hold you down though Jake, otherwise i'm afraid what might happen should you get as enraged as you usually do against Chaos Lord and his stupid gang whenever they appear."

Venusmon certainly agreed with the sentiment regarding Shiro. The poor boy was just a bit too high strung for his own good so taking some time to really unwind would do him a lot of good. Not to mention it would help him to loosen up some for the battle at hand. There was no sense going out there being all tense about it.
Nene, of course, snatched Kiriha to find a spot at the table to have a go at that feast while also gently coaxing him to unwind a little as well. For the moment, Kiriha had no real objections to his predicament and decided to go along with it for the time being. He had been away for quite awhile on his patrols throughout the human world so it seemed only fair for Kiriha to humor Nene, at least for a little while.
"I think the battle is going to be tough, but it shouldn't be anything that all of us can't handle together," Shoutmon answered in response to Tactimon. "I mean, I'm sure your group could have handled the situation well enough even without us, but you know how it is. Me and Taiki couldn't just stand by and do nothing at a time like this."
"And we couldn't just let Taiki run off without us," added Zenjirou. He found a spot for himself at the table so he could also help himself to some of that tasty looking food.
"Exactly," Akari agreed. "We can accomplish more together and that's all there is to it." She also pulled up a seat to have a go at some of that food.
Taiki had the good sense to look a little nervous at Gene's words, pausing to regain some composure while smiling thoughtfully. "I have no intention of ever hurting Crystal, not intentionally, and I trust that if something does go wrong you will be sure to keep me in line." Compared to being judged for his worthiness by Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, being issued such a warning by Gene was somewhat less intimidating, but Taiki knew very well that he was quite serious about it. Even if Roveth hadn't been drinking enough to make it obvious that someone had let on about that particular incident, Taiki would have expected for Gene to find out about it eventually simply by knowing just how much of a blabbermouth Zapmon can be.
Crystal let out a tired sigh, satisfied with the meal and feeling that she had probably had a little bit more than enough to drink at this point. "I guess it looks like we're staying the night. Or at least long enough to get a few hours of sleep before we depart to face Skull Graildramon's army."

Roveth nodded to Crystal, looking a bit serious, before grinning suddenly and downing another Sake bottle of his stash "god i'm lovign this! i'll definately win, Banchou Hitsuzenmon!~" of course while Roveth was cutting up and letting off some small snippets of info about Shiro, mainly about his past that others didn't know about, like how his family except for his sister died in a plane accident, so on, just the usual stuff Shiro's told everyone in the normal group but probably not Xros Heart and all, as well as Shiro's escapades of murphy induced fun, including the times he got ran over by Monochromon or being dragged around by an over-eager Guilmon, so on.
Shiro himself? not to be seen for a while, so crystal probably had the right idea about turning in and all. either way Tactimon rubbed his chin thoughtfully while sipping some more alcohol himself, more as a way to let him mull over things "it is no surprise Shoutmon... my General was probably counting on the extra help when he saw how many Core Chips were available. still, this is going to be a very hard battle, given Skull Knightmon is as crafty if not a bit more than Lord Bagramon." he narrowed his eyes lightly before Gabumon shook his head and appeared from the Xros Loader "true, Tactimon, but i think everyone here knows not to underestimate the guy, Crystal and Xros Heart and blue flare specifically." Tactimon nodded to Shiro's original partner while Gabumon went to work attempting to haul guilmon back into the loader to get him away from the bread at least. Tactimon had looked over to Strabimon and then to Banchou Hitsuzenmon "earlier it was mentioned Strabiimon was sent here, possibly coincidently to join our group, in your opinion who do you think would bring out his capabilities the best? given my guess is on Crystal." deciding to bring another interesting factor into the talks.
Gene of course continued eating in silence, letting tactimon take over, given he was still a bit tired and hungry from the beating he got from jake, so he was going to take his time recouperating, given he felt there was probably going to be a time when he might be needed as Alforce Fladramon X, if not his other full evolutions.
Jake meanwhile also had to stand up "well.. the food was great, but i think i'm going to get some more training in with Lemina, since we just saw how that watch thing of hers worked." he said, excusing himself with Lemina following, Lucia of course continued eating because she knew she had to at least bring some extra energy in case -she- had to break the barriers beyond Ultimate level.

Once Taiki was off the hook he decided he should probably have something to eat as well since out of everyone he was the most likely to run out of stamina from all the fighting that was about to happen.
Crystal excused herself and was escorted to a guest room that had been prepared by the Butterflymonz, although truthfully she would have been more than happy to spend the night up in a tree in the lovely garden outside the shop, but given the situation and all the inquiries into her personal life, she had the good sense to suspect that Taiki might be joining her. She wouldn't put it past Banchou Hitsuzenmon to set them up like that. Not that anything would happen in this instance. It was only likely only meant to raise morale and remind them what was at stake right now.
"Skull Knightmon is definitely a crafty b*****d," Shoutmon agreed with Tactimon.
"He's had to be since he's so much weaker compared to Bagramon," added Dorulumon. "I'm sure at the heart of the matter Skull Knightmon is just a scared little digimon who doesn't want to be outshone and abandoned by his brother, but somewhere along the line that ideal became twisted by the powers of darkness."
"That's probably true," agreed Ballistamon.
"And old man Bagramon doesn't have any malice toward Skull Knightmon either," added Shoutmon. "In fact, I think he's been trying to find him so he can apologize for everything that's happened. Somehow we're going to have to help Skull Knightmon realize that."
"Of course," Dorulumon nodded. "We aren't here to destroy Skull Knightmon. We're here to save him from himself."
"Whether or not Strabimon will decide to join your group is entirely up to him," Banchou Hitsuzenmon answered in response to Tactimon. "Miko Sakuyamon has given him the opportunity, but Strabimon still has to be the one to take it. And yes, while there are many strong generals assembled for him to choose from, there is only one known to be able to bring out and sustain the maximum potential of an individual digimon--the Chosen Child of Time and Space. Surrounded by hybrid warriors and generals who are able to bring out the maximum potential in a Digi Xros, the Chosen Child of Time and Space actually has one of the most powerful singular digimon alive. But it goes far beyond that. The Chosen Child of Time and Space has the willingness and compassion to bond with virtually any digimon that seeks her out and she has an innate talent for determining precisely what they will ultimately need to succeed. That is why she is also the general that was chosen by Alphamon himself."
Strabimon couldn't help overhearing the conversation. After all, Banchou Hitsuzenmon was making absolutely sure of that by instructing him to fetch more food to bring in for the new arrivals.
I had no idea she was chosen by Alphamon, Strabimon thought to himself. He glanced over at Dorumon. Meaning that easygoing fur-ball over there is actually the dormant form of an actual Royal Knight? Did Miko Sakuyamon already know about this? Then, for just a brief instant, Strabimon thought he saw an ethereal silhouette of Alforce V-dramon around Yuki Agumon. Another potential Royal Knight?! Feeling a little bit overwhelmed by this realization, Strabimon fled to the kitchen to try to clear his head.

Granted, if Strabiimon looked a bit closer at Shiro's guilmon, he'd -definately- see the same aura of Dukemon around him, but it'd be muted, more likely by guilmon himself as Gabumon finally got a decent grip and yanked the dino dragon back into the Xros Loader, thus ending a chance of seeing it, Tactimon nodded a bit lightly towards the notions as he rubbed his chin "in this case, it may be best for Xros Heart, Crystal, and Shiro to work towards handling Skull Graildramon, so that one of them can capture Skull Knightmon and take him back to see his brother." he then chuckled a bit lightly to himself "heh, if only Lilithmon and Blastmon were here, we would have a grand reunion of the generals of the Bagra Empire." he smirked in amusement while taking another sip of sake while enjoying the time they had to eat, drink ,and at least relax before it was time for the hell that was war.
Gene nodded to crystal's leaving as he chuckled a bit and ate a bit more food "well, if anything, we should be at our best more than likely, given if Jake is smart, he'd ask Shiro to deploy his Reality marble a moment to let him get some rest and freshen up before the battle, if he's going to train until Shiro gets over his drunken-ness." he said while watching Strabimon lightly seeing him a bit in shock and preplexing and all ~and so the seeds grow.... i hope Strabimon actually takes the chance, Crystal's the best in bringing out everyone's potential... and we'll probably need it all... meaning i might have to either Biomerge with Crystal again, or.... break Beyond Ultimate.~ he thought to himself, before finishing up his meal, and heading off with the Butterflymonz help to rejoin with crystal and head into the Xros Loader.
Roveth of course was still having a good time, granted, he's even beat some of the best liqeur holders in drinking games, so he was used to it, what people didn't know was that within Shiro's mind he was resting already, letting his outward persona of a lush show to let his mind rest and be ready, since he will have to bring out all the stops himself soon, granted, he had no capabilities of going Beyond Ultimate like Crystal or Jake, but he did have Divine digivolution if need be, plus his Jogress forms as well. granted, for singular powerhouses he held quite a few as it was compared to the massive digimon information network he has.
the other two? doing their respective things of 'unwinding' and training, respectively, then again one can't blame Shiro, he's usually the epicenter of -most- things that could go horribly wrong, if there isn't others or it's completely unrelated and he's just dragged into it. Jake? he's got bad vibes, enough to where he's stayign awake training more than resting, out of nervousness.

The evening wound to a close with Banchou Hitsuzenmon eventually passing out from over-indulgence in alcohol so that the two Butterflymonz had to work together to carry her off to her private bedroom. Banchou Hitsuzenmon was very definitely going to have one massive hangover come morning.
The rest of Crystal's digimon that remained at the table did eventually wander back to her Xros Loader, tracking the room Crystal was in by scent mainly, in order to also get some rest. Zapmon made absolutely sure that out of all of Crystal's partners, with the exception of Slashmon who continued drinking sake and chatting with Wizarmon, she was the last one to retreat from the table. Of course, that was mainly to make sure that none of the baby and baby 2 stage digimon got left behind.
Nene and Kiriha slipped off without a word, allowing themselves to be escorted to their own guest room by the Butterflymonz where they would remain until morning. Akari and Zenjirou were each eventually escorted to their own separate rooms once they had both had enough to eat, with the digimon eventually following suit once they had eaten their fill and finished up discussing battle plans.
Taiki was only marginally surprised when he was escorted to the guest room he would be sharing with Crystal. After being confronted by Gene earlier, he was sort of expecting it. The surprising part was that Crystal, who hadn't yet fallen asleep and was staring idly up at the ceiling, was exceptionally calm about him walking in. She didn't get flustered or embarrassed about being set up by Banchou Hitsuzenmon. The fact that Crystal's digimon had retired to her Xros Loader for night so that even Zapmon wasn't out to tease her for it might have had something to do with it, but there was just something eerily serene about the sense of calm Taiki sensed from her.
"It looks like you're in a pretty good mood considering everything that's happened," Taiki commented before settling down to join her.
"I figure there's no point in getting angry right now," Crystal stretched out on her back without looking away from the ceiling. "And I might have let some of my spiritual power seep into the room to create a barrier of purification and tranquility to help me sleep."
So then that eerie sense of calm that had washed over him when he entered the room had indeed come from Crystal's spiritual aura. "I see."
"Of course, with you here, I guess I probably won't really be needing it," Crystal grinned sheepishly. Taiki was one of the very few people she could actually let her guard down with and honestly feel relaxed. That was just how much she really felt she could trust him.

Strabimon was up the rest of the night pondering over what he had seen at the dining table and keeping well away from Banchou Hitsuzenmon so-as not to get called upon when she woke up with a splitting headache since it would only amount to giving him one as well. He would leave it up to those two Butterflymonz to attend to that stupidity.
"Strabimon, I know you dislike humans, but I've been discussing the matter with Slashmon and I really think that you and I should both go along with Crystal to aid in the battle," Wizarmon approached Strabimon early the next morning. "I know I won't be able to help very much with the actual fighting, but my healing power will be vital to their survival on the battlefield. But you, Strabimon, you have a hidden strength about you that I feel can only truly be brought to light in battle. So I'm asking you, for the sake of the digital world, put your feelings of anger toward humans aside and help your fellow digimon to defend the peace of our world."
"You don't gotta beg," Strabimon mumbled. "I was already thinking about going because I got the feeling last night that if I don't go with them now, that I might never be permitted to leave this place. And I also get the impression that we're likely to see something extraordinary in today's battle."
