Philip laughs a little. "Of course I can cook." He says. "I taught myself some and was trained for the rest." He cooked because he liked doing it, because he couldn't always trust oothers, and because he hated to see mistakes. He knew by heart the perfect mix of spices for everything, how to mix things for the best texture, and other things that most people would find strange. "Let's go then." He offers Xia his hand, making sure the boy would be able to take it but not forcing it on him.

Xia shrugged, "Hey not everyone can cook." He explained at that moment. Xia snickered before his hand brushed into the others. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to." He sighed before letting his ears out so he could hear everything a lot better and make sure he didn't bump Philip again.

Philip takes the boy's hand. "It's alright." He says. He begins to walk down the stairs and into the kitchen, making sure again to not go ahead of Xia. "And even if nobody could cook, my parents would have made sure I learned how to, or die trying." He glances at the boy. "What do you want to eat?" He asks.

Xia grimaced a bit because Philip took on his hand and started leading like before. He was kind a surprised really. Then again Philip did say he liked cats... or did he image it... Xia sighed calmly as they went. He was acting like a child about the whole escort thing now wasn't he. He shook his head. "I am not sure really..." He told as he glanced about letting his fingers brush the area. He started sniffing about. Would steak be out of the question... Some meat would be nice...

Philip thinks for a moment then nods. "As a panther, meat would be best, no?" He says. He prepares a pan and then finds the meat in the fridge. He would pay Seiji forit later if it posed a problem. After a few minutes, the steak was cooked to perfection, a medium rare, and juicy. The spices that had been applied made the steak smell all the more enticing. He slides it onto a plate and sets it in front of Xia. "Here you go." He says. He places a fork and knife down as well, making sure Xia would be able to tell what was where.

He blinked as he thought of what he wanted and what would ease his instincts. He smelled what Philip had cooked and leaned forward to the oven. He sensed the heat and retracted instantly. Once its done he was at Philips feet staring over it. Xia gulped before he leaned back feeling he was stupid. Xia felt his fangs coming out as he heard the plate clink. "Ah thanks." He was glad that he cook,ed since he would have probably burnt himself several different ways. "You sure you are fine with...the whole...babysitting thing?" He meant himself of course.

"It's nothing." Philip replies, smiling and sitting across from the boy. He enjoyed cooking. It was one of the things he loved to do. "As for the 'babysitting thing', I want to do it. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have offered. I've already said it." But his tone isn't irritated, as the words might imply. Instead, he seemed to be more than happy to do this "babysitting thing".

Xia started using the fork on the juicy morsel. At that moment he blinked trying to figure out if he was going to burn his tongue which was like any cats tongue and very sensitive at that. Xia licked his lips as he waited for it to cool. Xia scowled a bit as he heard the male. "I just.. don't like being a bother!" He hissed. It made him feel incompetent... a failure really. All because of his clans fighting back and forth. He pinched the meat and tasted it finally. Xia was taken back a bit as he tasted the spices and even took a few more seconds to sample it. "Mmm... good.." he started to cut up some more as he listened.

A car door shut and a man in a white coat walked around his car before opening the passenger door and staring down at the person inside with a charming smile.
"We're here~" When the other stepped out of the car, Seiji shut the door and motioned for him to follow as he walked towards the door and pulled his key from his pocket. Hanging from it was a koi fish charm that matched his hair in color. After unlocking the door and pulling the other inside, Seiji put his finger to his lips to tell him to stay quiet in case Xia or Sato were there. He didn't want to startle the little rabbit or disturb the cat.

James Macmillan

The drive over had not been long, but he felt a little awkward being in the doctor's car. Was he really going to be living with the school's doctor now? Admittedly he would not be the only one so he was grateful for that at least...sort of. Honestly he would have loved to live with the doctor by himself just for the thrill of it all. As the pulled up to the house James directed his attention toward it and let out an astonished whisper, "Whoa...it's beautiful."

In his amazement he did not realize that Dr. Koganagi had already gotten out of the car and come over to open his door for him. James blinked up at him in shock before exiting the car. The blonde followed behind the doctor as he led the way to the house. He watched Seiji pull out his keys and eyed the pink koi fish charm with a smile. It was a rather cute addition to the style of the house! James watched as the door was opened and blinked as he was pulled inside. He opened his mouth to ask him what was up when he saw Seiji place a finger to his own lips, and he promptly closed his mouth. Were the other students around and sleeping or something? James looked around at the foyer with wonder as he whispered, "Your home is gorgeous, Seiji.. Where should I stay?"

Seiji closed and locked the door behind them before he took the other's hand and pulled him gently towards the last available room of the house. When he reached the door, he tested out the handle to see if it was locked before he opened the door and ushered the boy in, shutting the door quietly behind him.
"There are 3 other students living here. Sato, Xia and Philip. You will get the chance to met them all eventually." Even though they were in a bedroom now, his voice was still soft and quiet. "Xia is at the end of the hall, Sato's and Philips rooms are behind the doors on each side of his and your room is on the other side of the house by mine. And since you will be living here from now on, I must tell you the rules here as well." Leaning against the door, Seiji loosened his tie and ran his hand through his hair. "Please stay out of the other's room unless the current owner of that room allows you in and do not, under any circumstances enter my room when the door is locked. So, he entire home is available to explore at your leisure as long as you mind those few rules. I myself do not mind you entering my room as long as you make sure it isn't off-limits at the time and that you do not play with the tank I have in there. It is very important and I would appreciate it if it was left untouched. Ah, I as I had said at the school, I am Dr. Koganagi at the school but here you can call me Seiji."

James Macmillan

Seiji had taken James' hand to lead him into a room that was locked. After they were inside James looked around at the bedroom with the same wonder in his eyes. The room was absolutely perfect! It was spacious, the bed looked to die for, and it was even painted in his favorite colors; fate was a funny one, was it not? James turned back around, as Seiji was telling him about his housemates, to see the doctor loosening his tie and running his fingers through his hair. The blonde raised a brow wondering if the soft tone of the man's voice and his body language were just a coincidence; telling James that he would meet them eventually made it sound as if the doctor had something else in mind that would occupy the student's time.

He nodded while walking over to plop down on the bed, practically sinking into it. This had to be what Heaven was like! Seiji then gave James the run down on the rules as the teen laid back onto the bed with a soft hum of appreciation toward the soft bed. He thought it a little odd that a tank was off limits, but he was sure that the older man had his reasons for it. After learning that the doctor's room was off limits only if the door was closed and locked the student nodded again. He waited until Seiji was finished with his speech before propping himself up in his elbows to look over at the man. "Understood, master of the house. So if I get scared in the middle of the night and your room is open then you won't mind if I come join you, will you?" He offered a playful smile, figuring the man probably had a boyfriend or a lover that spent the nights with him, to show that he was purely joking. "Since there are...five of us, do we split chores and cooking or something?"

Philip smiles. "Like it?" He asks, before looking up at the sound of a door oprning. He hears people talking and moves to leave the kitchen, pausing to tell Xia. "I'm going to see who's come in- Seiji and a stranger." He says. "I'm sure it'd be fine if you changed and came to see them." He then heads to the rooms where the chatter was coming from, walking up to the newest resident(?).

"Welcome back." He says briefly to Seiji. One could tell he did not mean to be rude- that was simply the way he tended to speak to most people.
"Hello." He says to the stranger, offering his hand. "My name is Philip Blackwell."

Seiji was going to respond when the other entered the room and gave him a brief greeting before turning his attention to the other. Seiji's frown only deepened as he gave the other a stern look.
"So you are already breaking rules hmm? The door was shut and I did not hear a knock before you entered." Seiji shook his head as he made a small sound with his tongue before tilting his head to the side slightly and peeking out of the room. "Where is Xia? Surely you didn't leave him by himself to find his way here? Aren't you supposed to be his guide Philip?" He stood straight as he entered the room again, his eyes on the other as he showed his concern for the boy whose sight was poor. It wasn't like he was genuinely concerned, it was just his doctoral instincts kicking in since Xia was technically a patient because he was on the same list as James. Sighing softly, Seiji walked toward James before leaning over him, his bangs slipping over his eyes. "Which reminds me, I will have to discuss your condition further when we are alone again. There are precautionary measures to be taken to keep you from having further issues."

James looked up toward the door curiously when his room opened and he tilted his head when he saw a tall, handsome blonde with glasses. The boy introduced himself as Philip Black before holding his hand out toward him. The teen got up from the bed as Seiji was quick to scold James' peer, and he raised a brow. It was quite obvious that Seiji was completely serious about the rules and James made a mental note to never break one. He did pout slightly when he realized that Seiji did not answer his questions. Oh well, there was someone else with them so perhaps the flirtations had come to an end.

James shook Philip's hand and smiled at the other blonde. "Nice to meet you, Philip. The name's James Macmillan. Please take good care of me." Perhaps this student had lived here longer and could help him out if he had any questions. The doctor walked back toward James, after asking Philip about Xia, and leaned over him to mention his own condition. James blushed softly at the proximity and bent forward to peek under Seiji's bangs to look into the doctor's eyes. "Precautionary measures? What did you have in mind, Seiji~?"
