That's no problem. I'll have him run off partway through.
Look at this: https://youtu.be/Xy3tfIBs5As That will give you the fighting styles and should help you out later on.

Cass turned to look at her, his face still more serious than it should have been, "Get patched up before you leave, at the very least. You can't run off bleeding like that," he told her simply, knowing that she didn't really have much choice, no matter what her fears were.

Then he took even that choice away as he started limping away...

Griz growled at the claws moving down his side, but gave the impression that it hurt more than it did. While Galen was in bloodlust and letting his anger rule his fighting, Griz was methodical. He also had a subdermal layer of muscle and fat in this form that protected him from most attacks. He'd feel the fight later, but right now he was simply focused on eliminating the lion...

He made the right move deliberately and let Galen go for his throat, but wrapped his large arms around him and squeezed. His muscles tightened up through his arms, shoulders, back, and neck. His neck muscles tightened up enough that they locked Galen's jaws in place as he squeezed enough to crack multiple ribs.

Griz dropped Galen then grabbed his scruff to throw him across the fighting circle. Neither male was badly hurt yet, but the cracked ribs would give even Galen pause as the bear growled at him then charged at him again...

                                                                • Saoirse shook her head at Cass’s words, but the young cub refused to take no for an answer. In a lot of ways, she could see Griz’s influence in him and it made her both happy and sad. Happy that he had someone who looked out for him and cared, yet sad because she knew what a good male Griz was. And what a wonderful mate he would have made, but even though she knew these things it still didn’t change her mind. Both Griz and Cass were underestimating Galen. She knew Griz probably had a few secrets up his muscled sleeves and that he himself was to not be underestimated, but they didn’t know Galen like she did. She had watched him rip apart a whole warrior party with his bare hands, just because one of them felt her up. She couldn’t imagine what he would do to Griz knowing that she had slept with him in the basest of ways. Hell, she could still smell traces of him on her skin underneath all the sweat and blood.

With all these thoughts swirling through her mind, she watched Cass limp away from her as he headed towards the pack house. She knew, regardless of what he said that she couldn’t go back there. Not only had she brought a murderous psychopath to their doorstep, but she had endangered her cub in the process. ‘No, not mine.’ She said, trying to berate herself but her inner lioness was having none of it. The feline in her had fully claimed Cass as her own and Griz as her potential mate. So she didn’t understand why Saoirse was resisting them both. As a lion, she had so few cares or emotions. When she was hungry, she ate. When she was tired, she slept. She was never scared, nor did she let outside emotions sway her judgements. No, she only listened to her instincts because they are what have saved her in the past.

So knowing this about her lioness, Saoirse didn’t understand why she was fighting the feline and her instincts so much. She hated all these feelings swirling inside her and the thoughts that wouldn’t stop. Letting out a whine, she shook her head before deciding she’d had enough. Instantly, the shift took her over and where once stood a dark-skinned, dark-haired woman now stood a blonde lioness. Her tail flicked behind her slowly as the human portion of her mind receded and allowed the animal part of her to surge forward.

She heard several gasps around her, and with a low growl she met everyone of their stares until the averted their eyes. With a huff, Saoirse allowed her four paws to eat up the distance that had occurred between her and Cass until she was walking alongside him. It was better this way. Her human emotions wouldn’t get in her way, and when Galen came for her again, she would stand a better chance in this form.

Galen’s teeth sunk deep into the tissue of Griz’s neck. The blood that flooded his mouth pushed his bloodlust even further. With an angry snarl, he shook his head trying to rip his throat out but before he could accomplish his goal, Griz managed to get his arms around his middle. It hurt, but the tighter the embrace became, the harder he bit the bear until finally, he felt a few ribs snap causing him to loosen his grip on Griz’s neck enough to where when the bear threw him, he only tore a small chunk out instead of the whole thing.

Scrambling to his feet, the lion felt several twinges along his chest and side letting him know that his ribs were probably broken, but that was the least of his worries. He could heal those within a day or so if he stayed in his shifted form that long. With a growl, he launched himself back at the pacing bear, catching him the face with his claws. Galen dodged a few swings from his opponent but a miscalculation allowed Griz to sink his sharp claws into his side where they stayed lodged until he turned around and sunk his own fangs into the bears arm. After a few seconds, which felt like minutes, Galen was able to tighten his jaw with enough pressure that he felt the other male’s arm snap before he withdrew his blooded paw.

Galen’s tongue darted out to lick the blood that covered his muzzle while a satisfied glint flashed in his chartreuse eyes. They had both taken a beating, and both had a couple of broken bones to go along with the scratches on each other their bodies, and even though Galen was starting to get winded because of his own broken rib that he could feel poking into his lungs – he wasn’t ready to give up. This male stood between him and Saoirse and that was just something he couldn’t allow.

It's not that. I thought the video was fitting because that's basically what the characters are and they're fighting. Sometimes it's fun to immitate prehistory in roleplay! XP But if we want to drag Galen out for a while longer, then he'll need to run off pretty soon.

Cass gave a soft sigh and put a hand on Saoirse's shoulder so that she could help him back to the pack house and the potential of getting patched up. He hoped she'd stay, but he wasn't banking on it. Everyone gave them a wide berth as they made their way through the streets, letting them move without problems.

((Cass and Saoirse Exiting))

Griz roared in pain at the broken arm and the chunk taken out of him. He was getting angry but was still maintaining his control, knowing he'd need it. He limped a bit as he backed off a few paces and they circled each other while he considered a new strategy.

He didn't want to give up his ace just yet, knowing that it would end things too fast if he did. But if he dragged this out too far, Egan was going to pick up on it and show up. This was his fight, not Egan's. And he didn't want his Alpha to take this one away from him.

But as he watched Galen, he knew he didn't really have much choice...

He shifted again... This time, to the larger size... This time, he could look into a third-story window and knock down trees with a swipe of his paw. He was also more agile in this form, strangely enough. But he'd never had to use it in a fight.

Oh... And it also healed his broken arm, though not the bites and claw marks. So he was still bleeding, but he could move easier.

Now he charged like a freight train and managed to get in one good swipe that threw Galen across the training area and shifted his broken ribs. While that would hurt. Alot... Griz knew Galen was either going to continue the fight or run off to heal. Either way, the fight was almost over for now.

Griz was too smart to think that it would be over this fast. But this form would give Galen a few second thoughts about this fight.

Especially when he let out a bellow that shook the building and was loud enough to bust ear drums...

Still not a happy bear...

  • Galen and Griz continued to circle each other, both hurt and dripping blood all over the sands. Galen was busy watching for Griz’s next move that he almost missed the movement in his peripherals. Turning to look, he saw someone moving from corner to corner but before he could make what or who it was – a loud roar brought his attention back to the forefront. With ears pinned back against his head, the male lion watched as the bear he was fighting shifted for a second time, only now he was much bigger than before.

Letting out a vicious growl, Galen charged the bear and the force of their collision nearly rocked the already shaking building. More blood spilled as skin was torn from flesh. More bones broken, although it seemed that Galen was taking the heavier beating between the two. Which, if he took anymore damage might cost him this match and that was something the lion could not have happen.

More shadows started to move around them, and it was about that time that Galen caught the other’s scent. Shifters of different kinds had come to watch or possibly join the battle between the lion and the bear and Galen knew that they were no friends of his. Snarling, Galen tried to think of a way to finish this match indefinitely or how to end it quickly because as injured as he was, even if he defeated Griz there was no way he could take on so many others. He was a cruel and selfish brute, but he wasn’t stupid.

Suddenly a glint caught the lion’s eye, and as he danced away from Griz’s sharp claws, a plan formulated. Sending sand flying up at Griz, he waited for the bear to dodge it before darting over to the dagger Saoirse had forgotten about. Grabbing it in his mouth, he slung his head upwards and towards the hanging light. His sight may have been slightly blurry but his aim was true. Suddenly, the overhead light went out, casting the room into darker shadows. There were other lights, but the one directly over himself was out and that was all he needed. Not wasting a moment, Galen attacked Griz one last time making sure to rake his claws across his opponent’s face before disappearing into the darkness. He used the commotion of the other shifters to cover his tracks.

He hated to run from a fight before delivering the killing blow, but he had severely underestimated the bear. Well done to Saoirse for picking such a worthy opponent to defend her. However, what his poor sister forgot to consider was that he would always come out on top, and Galen would always get whatever he wanted. She was his and it wouldn’t be long before she’d be within his grasp again. But for now, he would retreat and lick his wounds while he formulated a better plan to end his rival and regain what belonged to him once and for all. And when that happened, no one would be left alive to defy him or to keep him from his prize.

    Griz now headed back.

Griz bellowed at the final clawing across his face but knew what it meant. Three members of the pack teamed up to chase after Galen, but Griz knew he was leaving the base entirely. They were too well-defended for him to attack here again soon.

After a moment of licking at his face and one paw, he gave a grunt and motioned towards his boots and coat, giving a grunt when they were collected by members of the pack in human form. Then they headed back to the pack house.

Admittedly, Griz would have to shift to human form to get through the doorway, but at least he wouldn't be walking through the marketplace naked...

But he was really not a happy bear right now...
