Telamond PinoyCowboyka788 hm that's pretty intresting. I never heard of that term before until now. this is off beat, but why exactly is the term "Metosexual" "Sexual"? er......better worded.......hm. I can't explain it, but isn't metrosexual basicly just over obessed of one's personal apparience? hm sorry to throw the thread off a bit, just reading that made me think of another term that's all. Metropolitan means big city. Which means that they're modern men. It is in no way a sexuality. They just like to dress funny. Term is often used for men who gets manicures, spa treatment etc. actually metro means etimology-of and metro sexual means a man who takes care about their sexappeal and thats very sticked to the sexuality (actually even their way to get laid is bassed on that)

Pansexual pangender here.
Questions, comments, what may have you, feel free to ask.
One thing I'd like to add though is that it is hard to explain to someone outside the LGBT (and even some in the LGBT) what pansexual pangender is. I always say, "I am not a man or a woman, I am Nibby. And it doesn't matter what is below someone's belt because it doesn't make them who they are. What's in their minds and their hearts is what I find attractive. Age doesn't matter as long as they're able to keep up with me."
Also with the fetishes, philias, and other assorted things, being pansexual does not necessarily mean that you automatically like or are interested in these things. It may mean you are more open to the idea of them but by no means does someone saying "I am pansexual" mean that you can automatically label them with the stereotype that pansexuals have no sexual boundaries. We're still human. Well, at least some of us. wink

I feel there is a common theme of misunderstanding with this topic....
Pansexuality simply means to be attracted soley to personality; gender, orientation, and physical appearance having nothing to do with the attraction.
Basically, it means that gender does not play a role in sexual interest. It does not mean one who is very sexual.
The closest that comes to it is bisexuality. The difference: bisexuality is an attraction to both genders. Pansexuality is an attraction to personality. Being bi still has the gender preference: both genders. Pansexuality completely disregards gender.
I, for one, am pansexual. I am not attracted to both genders, I am attracted to personalities.

Pansexuality is still pretty vague but i can get the basic of that... I used to be Asexual myself but after a while it faded more and more until it was just gone~ You dont have to yearn for sex to be in a relationship 8D lol

I, like Mistress Nibby and Zombie, am a Pansexual. It doesn't make me a nympho.
One thing that might clear pansexuality up for people is JUST because we like people doesn't mean we're *****! I think that those who classify pansexuals with people who like children, and animals are thinking of people who're "Universal."
They're very diffrent. Now, don't get me wron,g some people who are pansexual's MIGHT like children, but I think I can vouche for most of us and say that have sexual relations with children isn't our cup of tea.
Zombie put it the best. We don't limit ourselve's to a specific gender. We date people more so on personality then what gender that person is.
And I have to quote what Nibby says. "It may mean you are more open to the idea of them but by no means does someone saying "I am pansexual" mean that you can automatically label them with the stereotype that pansexuals have no sexual boundaries. We're still human." <- That's an AWESOME way to put it. Pansexuality doesn't mean we don't have boundries XP It mostly just means that we don't limit ourselves to gender ALONE.... We have limitations though! D: We're not sex crazed nymphos. XP

Frankly, I still feel like the definition of pansexuality serves to make bisexuality sound as shallow as possible.

I hate the term metrosexual... they're heterosexual men who just do things that may be perfectly normal except that they were traditionally seen as "feminine"... other than that it has nothing to do with orientation or anything.

Sometimes, I'm pretty sure I'm mostly asexual. It's kind of annoying, actually. Especially because all my closest friends are nymphos... ._.'' I always feel lame around them, you know? One of my friend's boyfriends even told me that the only possible reason I could have for not being interested in sex was because I was obviously molested as a child, (I was not) which was a really lame thing for him to say, you know? Its not that I'm not interested in sexuality... I like reading about it, I like writing about it, I'm often attracted to people, sometimes I even really like kissing, but I've never REALLY been interested in anything more from another person. I don't like cuddling or hugging especially, and I don't stay attracted to people for very long after I've become close with them. My friends often introduce me as "the prude friend" which is also pretty lame, but it's not like it matters, you know?
