Quillan felt something enter his chest and then everything went dark. His last thought was: guys, please don't step on me.

Nim saw Quillan go down and she panicked a little bit. He wasn't moving at all. Had Shun really hurt him that much?

Rather than go to Quillan she directed all her panic into a punch that sparked with a little more lightning than usual. "You really hurt him!"

Quillan was down now. It looked like he had been knocked unconscious. Or maybe he was just laying there for the hell of it. Shun couldn't really examine the boy when Nim was right there, striking him again. Grunting, he gritted his teeth before retaliating with a slash aimed towards the female reaper's torso.

"He'll be fine," he hissed out.

Estel moved when Shun was focused on Nim again, aiming a kick to the back of one leg. "He'd better be okay later!"

Nim gasped as the blade bit into her. She could feel herself getting weak, suddenly and painfully. She wouldn't be able to last much longer.

She wanted to keep going and prove that they could do this, but she also wanted this to be done so she could get Quillan some help and make sure he was alright.

Caught between both desires, she hesitated and missed her opening to attack.

Shun's leg buckled as he took a hit from behind. Letting out a breath, he soon stood back up, kicking back at Estel. After the reverse side kick, he came back around and followed it up with a slash aimed across her midsection.

Estel cried out and stumbled back, arms clutching her stomach. She couldn't push past the pain to attack again just yet.

Nim kicked out at Shun, but it was much weaker than she'd planned. She couldn't put enough energy behind her hits anymore, she was too tired.

Nim had struck him, and at this point, Shun was feeling incredibly worn down as well. With a grunt, he just aimed a kick at her side, hoping to at least take her out of the fight as well. She was looking in pretty poor condition herself and all. After he had launched his attack, he turned to face Estel, watching her carefully.

"Nim!" Was it all up to her now? Estel lunged at Shun, trying to grab both of his wrists.

Both wrists were grabbed. Gritting his teeth, Shun shoved forward to try and push her down and away from him.

That was it, she couldn't keep going. She was too weak, too tired.

She barely managed not to collapse at the last hit. She was dizzy and struggling, but she was still on her feet. She used the last of her energy to drag Quillan as far away from the fight as she could and then fell heavily to her butt next to him. He hadn't dissipated, so at least he still seemed to be alive.

"KICK HIS BUTT ESTEL!"

She still had enough energy to yell, apparently.

Estel held on, but stumbled, not sure what to do. She was losing quite a lot of... light.

After Estel had stumbled, Shun shifted forward and pressed his blade against her throat. He didn't slice, however.

Estel froze, glowing brightly, staring directly at Shun. She didn't look afraid, only startled. After a moment she let go, folding her hands behind her back. Her body flickered, just a little bit translucent for once.

"All done," she said. "You're not going to finish me off. Fight's over."
