The insane imp threw small bombs at him alternatively, once his left hand was empty, the bomb on his right hand was thrown. From afar, creeple could see the two arms of the angry imp looked like a spinning wheel. The petite boil he was chasing after jumped and ran around the room in circle like a nimble pony. Occasionally, he would turn around and fling small stuffs at it before he dash off.

Eventually, the boil losing his temper dug his hand into pocket and grasp coins in his hand. He slowed down and waited until the imp came into close distance before he pitched the coins that formed a ball shape temporarily onto the imp's face.

Jack it! He wanted a nap so much!

Uru grumbled as they took what they had taken. Brenna was gone, her gold was returned, but the imps were empowered. This was going to be a bit more difficult than it was originally. "Hold tight, Bren. We'll get you." He muttered to no one in particular, because the one he had intended it for wasn't even within hearing distance.

Uru missed horribly. A miss. It dawned on him. When they failed to land a hit, the hole opened up. With that realization, he jumped to his hands and knees, glaring at the ground. "JACK!"

Mathias didn't really feel like socializing, keeping to himself once he'd had his fill of coins. When the action really began, however, it was those coins that made him struggle, his wings spreading and flapping as he attempted to keep his balance, eyes going first to the ring, than to the cracks in the floor and the holes that were opening up here and there, and than finally to the imps that flew overhead, dive bombing those around.

Mathias couldn't have flown even if the gold wasn't weighing him down, but he might have been able to hover for brief periods and perhaps snatch one of the little hellions out of the air. As it was, he was forced to bide hi time, crouched down, arms spread, claws extended, teeth bared.

When one of the imps finally flew low enough, he attacked, springing from his lowered position and raking claws against it as it flew past.

The chaos of imps dive bombing them and the fact she was loaded with gold made that miss even more shaky it put her off balance and Sammy found herself teetering on the edge of the ground before pulling back to plant her feet proper under her scowling at the last few imps lingering about.

"C'mon why don't you get closer already yeah?"

FEAR rippled along her arm of bone as she watched the imps circle around her. She paced the shattered ground near the abyss as one of the imps dived her again, her burning fist rushed to meet the imp who rolled at the last minute, she was over stepping she might fall!!!

She tried to whip around, grab the imp and use the tug against his wings to pull herself back from the edge, but that wasn't happening, Sammy whined in frustration as she felt herself slipping gold spilling from her pockets as she tumbled into the darkness two tiny purple flames and the flicker of gold as she went down.

As Mathias's annoyance grew, so did his claws, as suddenly his Fear surged through him, giving him a burst of speed that made him capable of attacking the imps with several quick slashes in rapid succession the moment they came close enough for him to do so.

"Ha! You vere vanting, more, more, more, and now, you vill be taking some of this!"

And then he flipped them the bird.

Gold light filtered through the imps' bodies before they burst, showers of gold rained down all around, flooding the room with light. Once everything had dimmed, everyone, including those who had fallen, were just in the chamber of Greed. Empty, save for everyone within. The ring no longer hovered in the center.

However, Mellow, might soon find the band of metal around their finger. Engraved on it was the emblem of the room.

Upon leaving the room, the students would find that the fighting had ceased outside. Someone or something had cleared it out. For those who were attentive, they might have noticed a shadow flitting away.

Okay, it ended.

Mellow was happy to see the imps burst, well not really happy as it was quite a strange thing to see. He finally saw the exit and everyone was leaving if not picking up coins to stuff their pockets. The demon wasn't a greedy creature, his intention from the beginning was to get a coin as souvenir for Torsten and that's all.

The thing that locked onto his finger was noticed at a later time, he wasn't happy with the foreign object as he didn't ask for it. He immediately pulled it off and maybe throw back to the coin pile and watch creeple fight for it while he ran away, but it stuck there. Mellow tried several times but it stubbornly wrapped around his tiny finger. Out of patience, he flung his arm like something nasty had stuck on it.

He eventually gave up and glared at whoever in the room, one of them must be the suspect. His guess was a female, because they loved making prank on him. "Is this a joke?" He spoke to draw creeple's attention.

"No. It's not." The woman who approached him was friendly, even motherly at first glance, but her eyes told a different story. They were disappointed and angry.

"It is the Ring of Greed, and it has chosen you." She sneered then, though it seemed uncontrollable since she forced it down as soon as she noticed, replacing the expression with a smile. "I know it seems like a burden, but it is an important relic. Cherish it." If she wasn't the one wearing it, she sure as Jack was going to keep an eye on the one who was.

Mellow startled as a woman approached him, he could feel aggressiveness that made him gulp despite of the motherly outlook she had. His mother was a tough kelpies, even though she treated him as a plaything, she looked like an elegant mother that each equine scareling in the town would desire for. It might also another reason why he got bullied by both ghouls and boils in his childhood time.

The petite demon that wore something looked girly uncontrollably made a step backward and averted his glance. Important relic or not, it had no importance to Mellow. Besides, he didn't like it symbolize greed as if accusing him from getting a coin. He gave the woman a moment of silence, "......I didn't asked to be chosen."

Why can't he have a male answering that instead of a female that he couldn't really start a conversation with. His whole body was asking him to leave and sending uncomfortable signals. He pulled up the long scarf that wrapped around his neck a few rounds as one of them and reached out to whisk the hair that slid down and curled behind his hair. The lace headband kept most of them, but his growing hair sometimes slipped out. It was quite annoying but at that moment, it kept his heart at peace.

Somewhere in one of the corners of the room, Pokerus lay on the ground having missed the entire fight with the gold imps. And she had missed it because somehow, she had fallen asleep waiting for something to show and failed to be woken even with all the noise in the air.

Only when the majority of the occupants had left the room did the dragon stir, rolling onto her stomach and opening blurry eyes, only to be met with a empty room devoid of not only students, but the vast piles of gold as well.

"Jack dammit where did all the gold go." Her half hearted growl turned into a yawn, rubbing her eyes of sleep and sat up to look around more. Had she just imagined everything, or did she really just sleep though it?

Well, it couldn't have been that amazing if she hadn't woken up. Or maybe she was just tired?

Standing up, Pokerus stretched her stiff limbs and placed her hands in her pockets, feeling the familiar smooth metal of coins chinking away. So not all the gold had disappeared, she thought with a grin. It looked like she was coming away from this a little bit richer then before.

There were still a few lose coins on the ground, and she wasn't about to let them go to waste. With no one to challenge her she picked up the remaining lose change and walked out of the room. There didn't appear to be any grunts left, the area cleared out. Even the one she had knocked out was gone too.

"What is up with these mafia guys anyway?" She mumbled as she stared at the vacant area. She knew enough that Shun had something to do with all this, but beyond that she didn't have a clue. Not to mention that she had seen no sign of any teachers about, which meant it was another case of 'solve it yourself cause we aint helping.' It was a miracle she had been able to learn anything at the school with the amount of times she had been left to fend for herself, much less survive. Because of course the ones who had the most power were no where to be seen when one needed help.

But it wasn't a huge concern for her. They didn't appear to be very strong, though it wasn't like she had personally fought any of the 'bosses' of these so called gangs. They might be a lot stronger. It would be fun to find out either way. Perhaps she should go and find Shun and get some information from the reaper, he would be in a better position to explain what was going on.

With a shrug she walked away from the scene. Sooner or later the mafia creeple would show themselves again, and hopefully she would be around to meet them up again. And beat a few more of them up, because it was fun kicking their asses. But for now she would go and find something to eat. And then have another nap. Because why not.
