once the group had landed, Roveth would stare on as the other chosen children had been fighting against Alphamon of all things. really? they had something that could go beyond Ultimate and they didn't use it? "you know, we really should beat it into Taichi's head that Omegamon isn't solely used for his Supreme Cannon, if he's worried about Collateral damage." he commented, while having brought out his Darkness Loader "Reload, Grimmon!" he called out, bringing out his go-to summon for fighting in uncomfortable scenarios "Grimmon, Chou Shinka!" he called out, unleashing the rings in a crescent moon pattern while Grimmon roared, and became enveloped in the rings as he grew and mutated, shifting into that of.. "Chou Shinka, ExoGrimmon!" he called out with a roar, before charging in to aim one of it's clawed fists right for Alphamon's face, going up close and personal instead of just unleashing Chrono Destruction like usual.
Shiro just shook his head lightly while Guilmon X looked to his partner, and nodded, charging forward as well as Shiro brought out his own Xros Loader, and a particular card in hand "Kaaaadou Slash! Knight of the Wyvern Activate!" he called out, before summoning an evolution card, which then flashed into that of a Blue Card in action as he narrowed his eyes "Kaaadou Slash! Matrix Evolution Activate!" he called out, letting the cards suffuse their power into Guilmon X as he called out "Guilmon X, Warp Shinka!!!" of course, with a burst of light he had turned into an Egg form, and proceeded to be ripped apart and changed within, becoming quickly a humanoid stature with a very large axe-like lance forming into hand as he charged out of the egg, aiming to join ExoGrimmon in attacking up close and personal "Medieval Dukemon!" he intoned seriously as he started trying to slash at Alphamon.

Alforce V-dramon sped into position to join the sword fight between Alphamon and Omegamon while utilizing one of his V Bracelets to manifest the energy blade of his Alforce Saber. By appearances it seemed like Omegamon must have been guarding something that Alphamon was after, although it was obvious to Crystal and her team that Alphamon wasn't using his full power, even with the Ouryuuken drawn to clash with Omegamon's Grey Sword as well as Alforce V-dramon's aforementioned Alforce Saber. However, even if Alphamon wasn't going all out, his Digitalize of Soul was still problematic because of how the attack could read causality to perceive all possible outcomes to deliver a sure strike with Alphamon's energy blasts and those could be pretty devastating even at low power. Alforce V-dramon was fine because the Tensegrity Shield could negate the damage with its restorative properties, but the other fighting digimon weren't so well equipped for the task of facing the leader of the Royal Knights. Not to mention that by the time they had arrived the nearby shopping center had already taken heavy damage and most of the chosen digimon other than Omegamon had already been knocked out in their desperate attempt to protect Meiko and Meicoomon from the perceived to be rampaging Alphamon.
Then, off in the distance, there was a declaration of "Sunlight Cannon!" as Hyperion also arrived on the scene wielding his golden staff adorned with the emblem of the sun and moon to unleash an ultra concentrated jet of sun class fire onto Alphamon in a strategic ambush style of attack. The flames dissipated after impacting with Alphamon and didn't seem to cause much in the way of damage, but it certainly got Alphamon's attention.
"Looks like the rest of the reinforcements have arrived," Taiki was certainly relieved to see Hyperion considering he wasn't rightfully expecting to see him here since he had been out and about on his own prior to the appearance of Alphamon, but it wasn't really surprising that he would think to turn up in the same place that Crystal would.
Crystal nodded. "Yeah, now we should be able to take him."
Except, of course, that Alphamon started to retreat into a distortion as Omegamon prepared to open fire on him with the Garuru Cannon. Naturally, Alforce V-dramon was quick to follow.
"Oh no you don't!" Alforce V-dramon disappeared into the distortion.
"You're not getting away from us!" Hyperion dashed in after him.
"Hey, don't forget about us!" Crystal and Taiki were also quick to follow. After all, this was there one opening to follow Alphamon into the digital world without the use of a gate and they couldn't afford to waste it.

Once they were within the distortion they would find themselves within a digital space constructed of hexagonal white tiles. Alforce V-dramon was using his speed to keep the pressure on Alphamon while Hyperion moved into a more defensive position, sticking closer to Crystal and Taiki to keep them from being hit by stray blasts from Alphamon.
"Why would one of the Royal Knights go against the chosen children?" Alforce V-dramon decided to get right to the point, assuming Alphamon was in the mood to talk as their respective blades clashed.
"Those who defy Yggdrasil must be destroyed," Alphamon was blunt and to the point as well, striking back hard. If not for the Tensegrity Shield it would have been difficult for Alforce V-dramon to match blows with the Ouryuuken.
"So I was right," Dorumon spoke up from inside Crystal's Xros Loader. "This Alphamon is a copy created by Yggdrasil to be my replacement."
"That's what it sounds like," Crystal frowned.
"Most likely programmed for obedience given how rebellious the original turned out to be," added Hyperion. "A problem Yggdrasil has run into with all of his Royal Knights at one point or another."
"That's because we don't serve Yggdrasil," Dorumon responded. "We serve to uphold the justice of the digital world."
"Exactly," Alforce V-dramon was in agreement as he continued to clash blows against Alphamon. "We should be cooperating with the chosen children at all costs."
"We appear to be very close to Yggdrasil's domain so perhaps you might manage to persuade him," Wisemon chimed in from inside Taiki's Xros Loader.
"As much as I'd like for it to be that easy, that sounds a bit too convenient for the situation we're in," noted Taiki.

Shiro and Robeth came skidding in just as Medieval Dukemon brought up his axe-like lance and once more started slashing at Alphamon, helping to alleviate the pressure Alforce V-Dramon would be under, while ExoGrimmon would be at least hanging back to use his own capabilities defensively of shooting beams to blast down any shots before it'd get to Hyperion, if they got past ExoGrimmon then they'd be handled by the god digimon, while the two hybrids frowned lightly hearing that Yggdrasil was behind this "oh great, just what we need, Yggdrasil being a douche again.. this makes what, the 6th time we've heard of or got involved with that blasted 'god'?" Shiro said with annoyance, while Roveth just shook his head a bit in amusement and all while keeping an eye on the battles itself at the moment. "either way Shiro, we're at least -somewhat- closer to the Digital World now, so maybe we can get some explanations and ideas as to what's going on..."

It was an impressive clash to say the least. Alforce V-dramon, Medieval Dukemon, Exo Grimmon, and Hyperion at least appeared to be holding their own against Alphamon, although it was still incredibly risky given that any one of them might go down if they were to take a direct hit from the Ouryuuken. But, so long as they kept their guard up and continued to battle cautiously it did look like they might even stand a chance of winning the battle without having to raise their offensive options too much higher. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be the case as the team was about to meet Yggdrasil's contingency plan head-on.
"Look out!" Dorumon went wide-eyed still within Crystal's Xros Loader. He could sense what the others could not, the essence of his shadow. "Alphamon isn't Yggdrasil's only backup!"
And sure enough two huge and oddly textured clawed hands ripped into the area to smash into the combatants, narrowly avoiding striking down Alphamon as well in the process. Death-X-mon's Process 0 attack was brutal, to say the least, appearing as a crushing physical blow while also having the corrosive effect of disassembly and deletion. Alforce V-dramon might have the power of the Tensegrity Shield to repair his data faster than it can be erased, but in terms of stamina he had already taken a lot more abuse from Alphamon than the rest of the team so when he took that hit from Death-X-mon he immediately degenerated back into Yuki Agumon despite his best efforts to hold onto his Ultimate form. Once he had degenerated back into his Child form Yuki Agumon was immediately returned to Crystal's Xros Loader to recharge, but that meant having one fewer combatants on the field and it didn't stop there.
The resultant shockwave from Death-X-mon's arrival and sudden ambush also opened up more distortions in the surrounding space so when the huge abomination of a digimon swung its massive arms a second time the entire group of them, sans Alphamon, would be blown away from Yggdrasil's domain through one of those distortions and out onto the familiar coastline of File Island, finally being cast into the digital world proper after many months of being unable to reach it.
Crystal sat up quickly and was relieved to find that Taiki and Hyperion were at least close by, although the latter had taken a bit of damage during that battle and didn't have the luxury of being able to enter the Xros Loader for healing given that his god-like status encompasses more data than the Xros Loader's limited storage can handle.
"Well, that was a huge bust, but at least we finally made it back to the digital world," Crystal tried to stay optimistic even in the face of the fact that they had literally just gotten their asses handed to them by a gigantic version of Death-X-mon.
"It's progress at least," Hyperion was inclined to agree.
"Now we just have to figure where Shiro and Roveth landed," noted Taiki.

Shiro of course just blinked, and blinked again, before starting to get up using a small platform of energy, while Roveth of course just still laid there in the water, before Shiro pulled him onto the solid energy surface too "Oi, no time to be relaxing Roveth, we've got a Digimon to save!" of course, Roveth just stared blandly at Shiro, before shaking his head "nope, not happening Aibou. i'm not going to fight that." he pointed up towards the Examon in annoyance at his light half "What!?! why not?" of course, Shiro was about to get cross with Roveth before Roveth got up, and grabbed Shiro by the face with one hand pulling him closer with surprise on his face "Because, dumbass, we're in the DIGITAL WORLD, the thing that is currently being INFECTED by whatever keeps causing the digimon to go crazy! i'm sorry, but if you'd think a moment, more than likely WE will be infected if we even so much as get a -scratch- here, so No, i'm doing the sane thing and staying out of this and waiting for Crystal and Taiki!" Shiro of course just frowned at Roveth, before crossing his arms in annoyance, and dismissed part of the energy barrier holding Roveth up, causing him to comically drop him back in the lake for his 'dumbass' comment and gave off an exasperated huff, before looking between Tiger Vespamon and Examon with a frown and all while Roveth sputtered and glared at his other half from the lake.

Naturally, the Fan Beemonz with their aerial mobility arrived at the place where the Tiger Vespamon had fallen first, although the rest of Crystal's group wasn't far behind them. The Tiger Vespamon looked to the Fan Beemonz with obvious a combination of concern and disappointment.
"What are you young ones doing outside the hive? Don't tell me you've also been placed in exile," the Tiger Vespamon seemed surprisingly gentle.
"We're here to help," one of the Fan Beemonz spoke for the twenty seven that were assembled in the vicinity.
When Crystal arrived moments later with Taiki and Hyperion it didn't take long for Wisemon to make his own analysis of the situation.
"This one isn't infected," Wisemon spoke up from within Taiki's Xros Loader. "But at this rate it's only a matter of time."
Crystal looked up to the sky again with a visible frown. "Which means that Examon up there is probably an infected digimon."
"It is as you say," Tiger Vespamon was able to confirm. "Certain members of the Royal Knights have begun to rampage across the digital world and our hive has been targeted by Examon. However, those who choose to leave the hive to fight him off can never return to the hive. We can't risk spreading the infection to our kin."
"I see, then you've chosen to sacrifice yourself for the good of the hive," Hyperion was also peering up at Examon. "Well we can't just leave this one alone, now can we?"
"That goes without saying," Taiki quickly agreed.
"You said it," Shoutmon spoke up from inside the Xros Loader.
"There's just one problem," Crystal was still eyeing Examon. "How are we supposed to beat him?"

Roveth had picked up on Crystal's Xros Loader, and quickly ducked under Shiro's grasping at him once more, causing him to over-extend and fall back into the water, before moving to swim himself out of the lake quickly, and once he got there, he'd give off a light pant before sighing "unfortunately crystal, i can't help with the taking down of that." he said, pointing up at Examon with a sigh "Too risky, so here." he said, before handing either her or Taiki his Neo Darkness Loader.. and then proceeded to pixelate, before his data began spiraling into the Xros Loader, proceeding to get the ******** in there and safe at the moment.
of course, Shiro had finally righted himself and surfaced again spitting out water and glaring at shore where he knew Roveth was "blasted Yami no Ahou...!!!" he muttered out, and started swimming in that direction himself so he could give Roveth a piece of his mind, as well as try to get to Crystal and Taiki so they'd be technically regrouped.

It was apparently Taiki who decided to grab onto Roveth's Neo Darkness Loader after the digital hybrid loaded himself inside. This was partly because Crystal was still staring off at Examon with that calculating look on her face like she was trying to decide which method would be most effective for bringing down the massive aerial Royal Knight.
Wisemon naturally spoke up from inside Taiki's own Xros Loader to consult with Roveth. "Perhaps we can't aid in direct combat, but if we combine our tactical and analytical resources we might be able to give the others an edge against Examon."
"Okay, we'll leave that part up to you," Taiki was in agreement with Wisemon at least.
They didn't have access to Cutemon because he's back in the Xros Wars universe with Akari, but that didn't mean they weren't without an ally that could heal the injured Tiger Vespamon. Labramon let himself out of Crystal's Xros Loader to utilize his Cure Liqueur technique to restore and optimize Tiger Vespamon's data at least enough so that its life was no longer in danger.
"So then, these young ones are with you?" Clearly the Tiger Vespamon still perceived the Fan Beemonz as children in need of protecting and was very much surprised that they were here fussing over them instead.
"We became allies when we met in another digital world," Crystal explained easily enough. "They've been a great help to me and since they're out here already I guess we might as well put them to work. Fan Beemonz! Digi Xros! Cannon Beemonz!" She held up her Xros Loader and combined the twenty-seven Fan Beemonz into three massive Cannon Beemonz. They weren't anywhere close to being as massive as the oppressive shadow of Examon looming over them, but the three Perfect stage digimon would make for an excellent diversion and they certainly pack plenty of firepower with the combination of their Nitro Stinger and Sky Rocket Infinity techniques. Crystal closed her eyes in concentration and began spinning the dial on her Xros Loader to highlight a few other certain digimon. "And since we're fighting an air battle we're going to need something with flight capabilities so... Hououmon, Thunderbirmon, Diatrymon,Deramon! Digi Xros!"
"Digi Xros! Zhuqiaomon!" The four highlighted avian digimon combined into the form of the Southern Sovereign, the Red Sparrow, Zhuqiaomon. If anything could potentially match Examon both in size and fighting ability it was Zhuqiaomon, but the constituent digimon could only hold this form for a brief amount of time as the strain would quickly become too much for them. "Kouen!" The Digi Xrossed variant of Zhuqiaomon would certainly get Examon's attention with the powerful blast of crimson fire shot from its mouth.
While they were getting the battle started they could only hope that Shiro wasn't about to do something very, very stupid.

Roveth would nod lightly as he popped up on his Darkness Loader's screen "agreed there Wisemon, and i do have some intel on Examon, since i myself can Xros one, a big weak point is the wings. they are both Examon's 'shield' and his bane, since he uses them to protect his body should he be attacked there, aim for the wing joints and topple him that way." he said with a neutral voice, though he could -feel- the animosity coming from Shiro as he's swimming in and all.
Shiro of course landed at the beach, glaring at Taiki, or more precisely Roveth's Darkness Loader before sighing a bit, and looking up to the sky a moment while idly spinning the wheel on his own Xros Loader "Reload, Marine Angemon" he called out, letting out the little ocean angel as he softly gave it a pat on its head "hey buddy, can you go heal TigerVespamon right quick?" with a chirp and nod, he'd at least go do that and start using Ocean's Love to heal up the Mega leveled Bee digimon while looking up to the fight, definitely surprised Crystal did get a Deva up immediately, but he was more looking a way to probably send his own Xros to help out, but not joining the battle at the moment.

"Toppling Examon won't be so simple though," Wisemon interjected from inside Taiki's Xros Loader. "Those wings, Caledfwlch, have a will of their own and are comprised entirely of Chrome Digizoid. An attack directed at the wing joints might work, but precision will be crucial."
"Precision, huh?" Crystal just got this look like she's about to do something incredibly evil. "I think I know just the thing to hit him and it's kind of perfect that Zhuqiaomon still has Examon preoccupied for us."
Taiki looks a little amused because he's already figured out what Crystal must intend to do. "Oh, we're going to use that again, aren't we?"
Tiger Vespamon has been healed of its injuries for the moment so Labramon has retreated back into Crystal's Xros Loader to avoid the possibility of becoming infected as Crystal herself is holding out her Xros Loader again, only this time Taiki is going along with her and they're getting ready to use an unnecessarily familiar Double Xros.
"Starmonz, Wisemon," Taiki started things off.
"Cannon Beemon, Monitamonz," Crystal added.
"Double Xros!" they finished as they stood back to back and brought their two Xros Loaders together.
"Wise Hi-Vision Cannon Beemon + Meteor Cannon!" And once again one of Crystal's Cannon Beemonz was now mounted with a huge wide-screen monitor displaying Examon's vital information as the humongous mechanized bee took aim at strategic vulnerabilities in Examon's wing joints. "Nitro Meteor Cannon! Wise Hi-Vision Cannon Beemon quickly opened fire on those marked vulnerabilities on Examon with a single heavily concentrated destructive blast from its modified stinger cannon. The single blast exploded outward to become a multitude of precision scatter shots locked onto the vital points on Examon's wings.
Hyperion is simply shaking his head. "To think you'd bother using that ridiculous configuration again."
"Hey, it worked didn't it?" Taiki was quick to point out.
It certainly looked like it had because Examon's wings had been sheered clean off and the huge draconic member of the Royal Knights was beginning to plummet toward the surface of the island.
"Now we've just got to do something about the rest of him," Crystal added with some amusement. Now that they were winning again she could start to actually enjoy herself with this.
"Just who are you people?" Tiger Vespamon was both impressed and a little alarmed by the overwhelming display of power that had so quickly bested one of the infamous Royal Knights.
