Prompt response: I typically try to stay towards the warmer spots, but typically I do fairly well in the cold. I have pretty thick skin and warm fur so I don't really do a whole lot of prepping. I also spent a decent amount of time with a herd that's familiar with the cold so I'll just stay in one of their caves if I get to cold.

Winter is coming.
They had been her father's words. She'd grown up hearing them from her mother. Winter is coming. She'd grown up knowing what it meant. Flowers were for summer and good times, but preparation and resolve were for the winter.
And they had prepared, hunting for more food and finding places to stay warm. Herbs were gathered and dried for wounds. But it was winter, and it would be long as it always was but not as long as it had been in her father's youth.
But winter was not coming, it was here. Her father's words a promise fufilled.

Prompt response: Right now I'm doing a fair amount of traveling so there is no real need for me to prepare for the cold months since I'm not in a spot very long. If I happen to get cold I've got a lot of feathers to keep me warm. Otherwise I didn't really prepare at all.

Prompt response: Winter was coming. Ariq was not surprised that winter was coming. It did happen every year, part of him mourned seeing the beautiful flowers die and the green leaves fall . However the cycle rebirth and destruction was part of life. The summer and early Autumn months were more enjoyable since they were brief. Ariq was big for a soq and he was bearlike in appearance. Part of Ariq wished he was a bear and he could sleep through the winter months but if he slept he could enjoy the delights of winter as well. The stars seemed closer in the winter months and the sight of bright holly was beautiful when framed by snow.

Prompt response: Trehan was born in the desert where the land was hot and life was hard. For a few months the rain made everything thrive -those were the winter months. Life became easier in the winter. However this year Trehan had followed his father to the secret enclave of the moth herd who lived deep in the Forrest lands. " Father calls this white stuff laying on the ground snow. It is so cold. My claws have a hard time breaking through the snow. He told me sometimes plant matter can be found on the ground if one can push the snow of a spot on the ground. I will take the hot sand over snow any day!"

Prompt response: Ilex did not like winter. Winter was harsh on the life that surrounded his swamp. Many of the large rivers were ok but the places of small water often froze. Some small creaks even froze on the top which could be quite dangerous when you needed to surface for oxygen still most water was safe to travel. ' Burr it's cold.' Ilex remarked after coming out of his patch of swamp. The ground next to the water was slippery as he made his way up the embankment. 'I hope me little friends are safe.' Ilex remarked sadly. Most of his animal friends were hibernating or had migrated south. The winter months were lonely months.
