RP response: Injured the Kraken makes a beeline towards the village to gain substance/ energy for the battle. He grabbed a beautiful rainbow Koi, and bit into it. The fish wiggles feebly before quickly dying. Coral is horrified, she felt reasonable for the beautiful fishes death though she knew that Kraken was a monster who would never be satisfied with one death.

RP response: Coral tries to distract the Kraken from taking another victim . She attacks him with a slight kick to the right and one to the left. Her attacks have little effect. Out of nowhere a mer stallion with light blue skeleton markings appears, sitting on his shoulder is a small female purple and pink seathi. She wears a jeweled collar and rocks a pompadour hairstyle. The skeletal stallion takes advantage of Coral's attack and hits the kraken with his tail. The kraken's body reverberates with the shock of the attack.

RP response: The kraken grabs out at anything he can reach. His tentacles grab hold of Coral. The contact winds Coral, and for a moment she is stunned. The pink and purple seathi who had been riding on the mers shoulder hits the tentacle holding Coral causing the Kraken to release her.

RP response: Aizuri-e felt a tentacle wrap around his middle, squeezing his sides, and he beat his hooves at the flesh restraining him as he struggled for air. The tight grip was constricting his breathing and making his attempts to get away weakened, and he couldn't help but feel relieved when a sharp-toothed mer swam to his aid, sinking their fangs into the beasts flesh. It was just enough to loosen its grip so Aizuri-e could escape, but he needed to take a few moments to recover before he re-joined the battle.

RP response: Once Aizuri-e was able to take in deep breaths again, he dove back into the attack. The kind mer who had saved him just moments ago was struggling against a tentacle of is own, now, and Aizuri-e swooped in to return the favor, landing a painful blow against the flesh of the beast.

RP response: The Kraken's assault was a swift, brutal fight, and Aizuri-e was forced to spend several moments just looking for cover; dodging the attacks was just out of the question when he could barely keep his eyes on the swiftly moving limbs and gnashing teeth. He needed to regroup and reassess his next plan of attack.

RP response: Aizuri-e never wanted to see the beast's mouth up close. Not after he'd heard of just how many countless lives it has eaten already -- and undoubtedly would be eating several more. He just hoped he and Ikigai wouldn't be among them. He kicked out with his hind legs as he was dragged swiftly towards the monster's mouth, a sharp fang leaving a shallow gash on his hide as he managed to squirm from its grasp and swim to relative safely.

RP response: Aizuri-e thought he'd found a good hiding spot for a quick breathier after seeing his life flash before his eyes, but the Kracken wasn't about to give him any time to rest. A tentacle smashed down on the rock he'd been hiding behind, crumbling it beneath its strength, and again the kelpie was forced to flee further from the fight, retreating to a distance to look for a new angle to attack from.

RP response: As the great beast swam overhead, casting its ominous shadow over Aizuri-e, he was momentarily chilled by the vastness of its size. He also, however, noticed that the monster's tender underbelly was now exposed -- and opportunity he couldn't let pass him by. Literally. With a flick of his tail, Aizuri-e was off to see what damage he could do to the beast's weak spots.

RP response: With the number of soquili attacking its soft belly, the Kraken whirled around to face them swinging its tentacles to try and swipe them away. Aizuri-e managed to dodge the attack, but he was able to think fast and latch onto one of the passing tentacles, landing several hard blows to the squishy flesh with his hooves.

RP response: The battle was getting more difficult. Every move Aizuri-e made, the Kraken seemed to be able to counter-attack or dodge. Brushed aside, smacked, hit, nothing seemed to stick. He would need to retreat again; uselessly wailing attack upon attack on the Kraken only to have no effect would ultimately just wear him out. He needed to re-evaluate his moves again.
