Smoke dissipating quickly a long haired Naoki was bowing her head to Kagami. "Lady Kagami I have come to report to you about the situation. No matter your efforts here it wont matter. I have infiltrated deep into the core of Arashigakure. What they want you to see in front of you is just a mere hoax. A ploy to tire out our forces. It's a cowardly poly but a effective one. But this rudeness can't be forgiven. I have a true path to the actual Arashigakure. Flying or cloaked my inscriptions can't be hidden from." Her eyes still faced down she'd give her report obediently. Her Great sword strapped to her back. "Also I now have a inside man within the village someone that I trust as if it was me. Because it is me. I split Freya from myself through powerful fuuin and she will remain in Arashi, as now I can stay by your side. As your blade who else could do so much for you?" As she spoke Naoki glanced to the new faces and old that stood as Kagami's agents. Though Naoki has been gone for a long time not once did she doubt her position in Koga. Only through Naoki's actions could this day happen.

__ Suddenly, Naoki appeared knelt before her and stalwart as always. Before Kagami could greet her she listened closely to Naoki's intel from within Arashigakure. She had been stationed there as her agent on the inside for some time. Those efforts had clearly borne fruit as Arashigakure was evading them somehow. "Flying? Cloaked?" She said with a palpable confusion in her voice as she looked to the sky and then at the "Storm village" on the ground in the distance. The irony was not lost on her that the greatest deceiver of all was lost in the enemy's darkness. When Naoki finished speaking Kagami took one of her hands in her own and raised her from her kneeling position. She then wrapped her arms around Naoki before planting a kiss on her cheek. "Nice to see my best agent, you never disappoint." She praised and flattered her with a flirtatious smile before continuing. Before she spoke her facial expression switched from charming and pleasant to worried and serious. "So the village in front of us is fake? I know it isn't a genjutsu, but the true village is flying? If you can take us there then let's not waste any time." Kagami was perplexed and had many questions at the beginning of her statement but she ended decisively. "When we get to the real village I'll assassinate the Arashikage as I did Chie. Then we'll destroy the real village from the inside while Sandayu's forces tear the empire's lands apart from the ground." She spoke of her new plan with confidence to Naoki and the surrounding agents while Kogarashi's army unleashed their fury around them. Arashigakure probably thought themselves clever but this ploy would be their undoing by Kagami's hand with Naoki and the others by her side.

Orders given Noaki sudden roes to her feet. "Yes right away Lady Kagami!" Emerald hues glancing between everyone she approached Kagami before taking her hand and holding it. "Everyone else just needs to be in contact with me. But watch what you're touching or i'll cut you in half..." Her tone full of malice at the end part. Once everyone made contact with the Uchiha the group of Kogarashi would blink away like lightning.

The invasion in this area continued on without much resistance. A few Arashigakure and Imperial scouts were sought out and eliminated near the roads while other travelers and innocents suffered due to a lack of protection. The land was being mercilessly razed and torn apart in virtually every direction across the territory of Floods.

Obei stepped out of the wormhole alongside Kagami and Naoki, standing silently as she prepared herself for the incoming battle. Arashigakure would find themselves at the doorstep of a new age. AT least, it's most likely what Kagami and Naoki might have been thinking about. Obei was still so focused on the words of Zhi and her talk with Sandayu. Would they truly fail here? If her words were true this would just be the first step in an otherwise higher tiered game. Her eyes focused on the two speaking as her attention turned to the situation at hand. That being the lands being turned into a massive parking lot. Obei hurried and latched onto Kagami at the last minute. Wooooooooooosh.

The sound of marching feet and beating of drums sounded the arrival of the Imperial host, in all its might. A mixture of cavalry, archers, light infantry, heavy infantry, archer cavalry, shinobi compliments, and catapults. As the army continued, at its head rode the officers of the division. Its General, General Jiro Hyuuga, gave a wave of his hand the entire division halted. It assumed a defensive posture while the artillery began the process of hammering away at the beasts. The archers began to pelt the field with arrows, being well supplied they were not worried about ammunition. After all, the imperial army was a logistical wonder of efficiency. The heavy infantry formed up in several dozen ranks deep lines of raised tower shields, poised and ready to fight. These soldiers, unlike the other detachments, were clearly far better trained and disciplined. Their movements were clean and orderly. Behind the army and out of sight of the kogarashi forces, a company of cavalry pranced back and forth stirring up dirt to make their already immense numbers seem even larger.

A green haired kunoichi with ringed scarlet eyes appeared from a rift in space, closely followed by a puppeteer with dark hair and gold eyes. In one step, they had come from Takijinsei and arrived at the border of the Fire and Storm Countries. It was a quiet expanse of land. The only sound was the wind breezing through the branches of trees overhead.
This was but the calm before the storm.
They stood on a mountain. Though her Rinnegan was active and her closest of bodies already beginning to stir, Kagerou didn't need to expand her field of vision to see what was preparing at her very feet. Down below, a deployment could be clearly seen. The banners flown indicated these were the forces sent by the Lightning Daimyo.
When Kagerou looked further into the distance, she could only let a frown cross her expression. Smoke and flames coming from what she could only assume were innocent towns. Evidently, the attacks had already begun.
"Apologies Miss Sadayo," Kagerou expressed her regrets with a tense voice, distracted as she tried to pull at more of her bodies and see if she could bring her forces to the forefront here, but found that they were still too far away, "It appears the attack has begun sooner than I thought. This might... complicate things..." Complicate things was an understatement. However, worrying would bring her nowhere. Kagerou could only hope for the best. "I cannot guarantee if the Arashikage will be able to meet you. In fact, I'm not even sure if I will be able to even take you through the gates," she continued as she untied her Arashigakure headband from her arm and offered it to the ambassador with both hands, "Please take this as proof that you mean no harm. I believe at this point, to accomplish your job as ambassador, your best chance is to speak to a commander directly on the field, such as the one leading the unit below us. They are the Lightning Country's forces, and I've heard tell that the emperor himself is here to lead his troops. Though, such words might simply be rumors. No doubt, however, considering the size of the force below us, this commander is at least a man of some rank and power."

This was someplace new. This place was somewhere calm. A night and day difference from where Sadayo came from and where she anticipated going. Although the scent of smoke, a noxious spice cultivated by destruction, swells in the air. The puppeteer was quiet side from the noises jittering from her artificial counterparts in trail behind. Sadayo well ready to re summon the pangolin puppet to shield herself but not before Kagerou could give her direction. Whatever was ahead of them couldn't have been a pleasant sight and in an earlier state of mind, odds are that Sadayo may have not been able to hold herself together. Fortunately the newly appointed ambassador of the budding, Takijinsei territory was finding herself regaining a stronger grip on her poker-face facade.
She managed to rebuild that stoic, stately, however devoid of emotion look that appeared ready to brush off what rampant environment ahead of her. Her puppets were the facet of her emotions now. Missing out on a formal meeting with the head of the village was, admitting, regrettable and she wasn't afraid to at least flex her feelings on this defeat with a timely eyebrow rise and fall. It was then that Kagerou presented Sadayo with her own headband. To borrow. It was a way to denote they were going to playing on the same team. Equals. There some was relief in not knowing this wouldn't be a third headband to the collection. With as much civility Kagerou displayed Sadayo did the same in her gesture to accept the headband. The headband was one that she could just tie it off at her waist, with her belt if need be, just as she had done many times times before from other fallen secret villages.
"I'll meet anyone you say is worth a damn at this rate. Your side could benefit from this accord as much as we could. Who is the commander? Do you know?" Sadayo took this time to prep by bringing forth her masked double despite the tarnished shoulder in the puppet's jacket. Then she turns and unravels the scroll to bring forth Senzankou in its less noxious waft of smoke. Finally, Sadayo opens an additional scroll to add the red samurai Nirami to join the fleet. "You know who this emperor is as well? Used to hear about him on the Islands every now and then when word that his forced added another line to his borders. Frankly, I'm more interested in the Commander. But there's no promise of who it is I'll meet first." Her tone was less than the dry that paired with her expression. Intrigue flavored the tone of her questions. It was interesting to be in a loop.

Scarlet eyes swept over the army, looking from the back to the center to the front in all the usual places one would expect to find leaders of all sorts.
It didn't appear on her placid face, but the word "accord" stirred a small bit of unease in her mind. She... er... She didn't think she had permission to give anything that could be termed an accord, so she was naturally concerned that perhaps she miscommunicated something somewhere... Nonetheless, this wasn't the time to query details. From the rise and fall of Sadayo's eyebrows earlier, Kagerou could surmise she was already rather unhappy with not being able to meet the Arashikage. Perhaps it was best to not complicate things further.
"I was focused on making my preparations outside of the country," Kagerou admitted as her smile returning slightly, "but I'd wager the man standing there, where other nin-like individuals are gathering is the commander... He is..." A moment of silent consideration. Perhaps Kagerou recognized this man after off-handedly seeing his picture in some sort of book of important people? Mmm... Nope. She didn't recognize him. These very thoughts were echoed by Kagerou's voice, "Mmm... Nope. Don't know who he is, but he seems important. I don't know much more than the basics of the Lightning Country, so unfortunately, I can't give you much information on either commander or emperor... You know, assuming that I would be willing to share such intel with you." Her smile grew a little again as it flashed in Sadayo's direction. Words said in jest with the lyrical tune Kagerou's voice naturally took, or so it appeared.
Sadayo's preparations caught Kagerou's eyes, and she took a moment to comment on the familiar sight, "Your puppets were carved with great care in their details. They seem like they are quite sturdy and creative..." Her eyes moved from the masked puppet crawling into the pangolin puppet and focused back on Sadayo.
Then they moved to the bunny still on her shoulder, "Your pet, as well. She appears rather adorable, but I'm sure she's formidable in her own right." From as far back as she could remember to only recently, Kagerou had been beaten by a single mouse. It wasn't even a matter of "knowing better." Kagerou had never, in her life, thought that a small rodent couldn't be a terrifying martial force. Though, she thought this particular one looked, perhaps, not as strong... but that was a baseless feeling. She wasn't all that familiar with animal anatomy as she was with human.
Eyes back on Sadayo, Kagerou had to excuse herself first, disregarding her manners. "Regretfully, I must leave immediately to my position," the messenger bowed to her guest, and flashed a smile, "The village needs me. Please take care, you and all of your village's nin." Then, with a flash of hand seals and a flash of light, she was gone.
She could have flashed so many regretful looks behind her shoulder as she left. All the people left running from the fighting they had nothing to do with. The lives lost in the titanic clashes between two opposing forces. However, she couldn't risk Arashigakure falling because she had dawdled elsewhere. If she spread herself too thin, then she might not accomplish anything at all.

As the two the portal was intended for gracefully stepped out, a third, uninvited girl would land face first on the ground with a sharp thud. The third-wheel quickly got to her feet, coughing as she tried her best to get her bearings on just what she had gotten herself into. Suffice to say, this was a radical change from the isolated, peaceful woods surrounding the old Leaf Village. Towering trees gave way to row upon row of military tents and rough, mountainous terrain. The only familiar sight around her were the two women she had foolishly rushed after, no doubt unbeknownst to them. As Usagi rose from the ground, she'd brush off her pants, making her way up to her jacket, but stopped as she felt around her head. Uh oh. It seems that her hood had fallen off in her fall. Open to the world was the one thing she liked to keep private... a big, floppy pair of bunny ears dangling down over the sides of her head. In a futile act to cover herself, she quickly threw her hood back over her head and stuffed the ears into the thick mess of strands she called hair and took up a casual "yeah, you didnt see anything" expression to anyone who dared eye her.

Oh whoop. So there actually wasn't a bunny on the puppeteer's shoulder. No bunny.
Bunny instead flopped out of the portal, which... she didn't mind. Kagerou didn't even appear that surprised. Few things could truly catch her off guard.
Feeling a heavy sense of nostalgia looking at this bunny girl, Kagerou returned the "yeah, you didn't see anything" expression with a smiling "yeah, I totally saw something" expression as she gave the hood a pat, unable to resist the fluffy ears, but also feeling a sense of immediate kinship with this girl. "If this hoodie ever gets mangled," she offers, "Feel free to ask me for a new one. They're a favorite of mine, so I have quite a few of this exact jacket."
Then, after that, she said her farewells to Sadayo and disappeared... or... something like that... Figure out the order amongst yourselves. I only wanted to pat the bunny girl and compliment her sense of fashion.

One compliment about her puppets could dared to take Sadayo's daydreams to scales taller than the tallest mountain. It was just that a mention of a "pet" which really weighed down that brief sense of pride the puppeteer could have felt. For a moment, the dots didn't connect for what it was Kagerou was exactly talking about until Sadayo looked down. No rabbit. But legs, pants, and the rest of what added up to appear to be more human than rabbit.
Kagerou disappeared. Sadayo, looking over her shoulder, was trying to figure out when and where this bunny girl came from and how long she's been there. Her mouth was just barely seen moving over the horizon of one of her outermost puffy ponytails but no sounds came with. But before long Sadayo shook her head and wildly bounced her hair. She huffed. "Here to fight?" Her choice of tone was only a teensy bit monotone with a fleeting hint that she about frustrated herself trying to add everything up with the bunny girl, the lack of directions, no idea who it was she was going to talk to and just what conflict was the most near to their location. That question was along her attempt to blow off steam. " If you're in please stay close. I want to bring our band of remaining souls home alive." Sadayo took a one last look at her unexpected guest before turning and rolling her arms up and over to move her unit of puppets. It was time to move.

Her heart was feeling as if it was about ready to sink from her rib cage and fall flat on the ground from the sight before her. Casualties. Mostly horrific casualties from her side of the conflict. All this conflict was missing were a mess of explosions and it would probably be Seizan all over again. Unki's departure from the platform was made after each grouping of spry ninja had went their own way. She was going alone for now but the esteemed chunin still had the option to put clones at her side if needed. In the meantime her course of action was bold, considering Unki's limited experience, but she forced herself to tare from the feelings of dread from devastation and horror and split into a run.
The path she made was along the mountainous roads rather than on them and passing over earthy obstacles, leaping over random masses of foliage, and quietly too. Silent soles on her person weren't there for nothing. In any case, Unki finally found she was in tow of a sizable group of Kogarashi invaders that had just downed another set of Storm village scouts. The anger she could have felt was beginning to surface a sense of determination to avenge the scouts and the fallen she had to look beyond on her path. Unki was close enough that given one wrong move and she'd easily give herself away and not on her own terms. The time came to put her fan to use as more than flashy accessory. tab Be beast or man, Unki's new and first targets were in for a trip on the get-go. Unki's footing was firm and the breeze blowing from behind was partially in her favor. Her head was held high and her left arm was held higher. One chakra steel fan was firm between her thumb and forefingers and with a turn of her wrist reveals the war fan's lacquered face to her targets. One swing going down from above her head casts a whirl of wind to sail over the earth and lift loose silt and dirt into the air [✺ Fuusajin [ Dust Wind ] | Rank D ]. If the winds were in her favor, this maneuver should literally sweep her targets off their feet and give the rest of her attack a better chance. tab Shiro could find her and no reason why he couldn't. No reason to wait on him to spring out of no where and certainly no absolute reason to give her enemy a chance to recover and retaliate. In the moment between her attacks there was just enough time to whip her right hand into an interior vest pocket and collect her second fan. Two hands and two fans would tie up the space for hand signs therefore Unki ended up bolstering her resources with a faint, flickering thread of chakra stretching from both middle fingers to the ends of both spines of each fan [✺Graceful Return - Akira Art - Rank: B :: Complex ] Now, supposedly, Unki should be able to throw her fans around and being them back to her grip even under circumstances that don't promise a thrown fan to return. The threads will only linger for a limited time.
Her actual damaging dealing attack was in the works. The movements the chunin began to follow through with were familiar with her memory. Hand motions which carefully direct the fan to spin about her fingers with the gentle rotation of her wrists. Just like the fan practice Unki put herself to study in the dojo and multiplied by two. Getting both fans up to steel slicing snappy speeds wasn't an easy task on her second time out doing this very real offensive maneuver. Timing, distance, speed and power; four things that should really be sticking to her focus right about now. Her 'pinwheeling' pair of fans were polished and primed for being propelled as projectiles-like attacks on a string.
Unki promptly flings her fans forward at her targets and watches the pin-wheel plight unfold and prepping herself for the catch {✺The Fourth Akira: Flashing Twirl Rank: B :: Simple ] OOC::

Applying what I feel I know then my initial attack is Ninjutsu, nothing changes. But when looking at my final activation, Flashing Twirl, that's a Simple Buki and I have [6] whole points of strength. That should fortify the attack to A-rank power instead of B? I guess that would apply to Graceful Return - Akira Art - Rank: B :: Complex as well for any upcoming post. Oh well, just thinking out loud.

〓Activation ✺ The Fourth Akira: Flashing Twirl Rank: B :: Simple : 40 Stamina﹢The user will twirl their fan, open, upon a single finger, spinning it like a pin wheel by rotating their finger at a very high speed. The bladed fan is able to slice through flesh and steel with ease for the following two posts. The user can make this technique complex. By doing so they are able to throw their fan while it is rotating to create a shuriken type attack that shreds it's target and returns to the user. This technique can be used by both fans simultaneously or by a single fan.

It seemed that the pretty blonde lady had beaten her to the punch to the main roads. That wasn't surprising, Nozomi had literally lost everything she died and had to start over. Made sure not to be seen by the enemies, she was trying to be careful to also not get in the way. She waited for the two others to meet up with her so she can tell them quickly who she was and hopefully they would do the same so that way, they could try to figure out their teamwork. Her muscles were tense and her heart was racing. This wasn't her first battle but she will be damned if it was her last. "Come on guys..." Nozomi whispered under her breath, waiting for her two teammates before they can move on and head towards Seizan. Seeing the bodies was nothing new to her but ever time she sees it, she hates it more and more. This needed to stop. They really should head to Seizan. Her eyes darted to where she arrived from, wondering if she should go ahead or wait for them.
