"Also, why do I feel like I've heard something like this when I was a kid?" Aden remarked as he continued to hear the threatening, yet singsong declarations. Oddly enough, he had a feeling that letting it ride out to ten wasn't going to end well for him or Leslie and looking at her, figured that it didn't need to be said or else he'd see his nickname go from "ugly" to "captain obvious." Though, it would turn out that he failed the same spot check himself and hadn't realized he'd gone through the door before it was too late. Cozy as the living room was, there was still the issue of giant horror-movie hands... and Leslie going all gung-ho and trying to do what Mawile tend to do best with that second mouth.

"Uh... well, I suppose we could fight," Aden spoke up, stepping to the open door with a surprising amount of calm. "Or, if they're saying we better lock our door... could just do this." He'd then close the door, turning the lock to lock it from the outside- assuming there was one, that is. Otherwise, muscle memory had gotten the better of him and attempting to turn a lock that wasn't there was going to be an awfully silly image.

The doors to the entrance of the castle also opened on their own. As they entered, whispers of ghosts in pain would reach their voice although there was nothing to be seen. It was dark, abandoned and it appeared as more of a scene of graveyard than a majestic castle. There was bones and rotting bodies everywhere, the walls and floor were decorated with blood.
Before they could look around more, a force swept the floor clear of the bodies and its shadow grew in the far corner. However, as creepy as the place felt, when Veronica's eyes followed the shadow they met with a tiny sized Hydreigon. It seemed to be about half her size. While the Hydreigon was only a quarter of its regular size, whether it was due to its age or otherwise, it still had more power than any regular boss pokemon.
With only a second moment, it brought an Dragon Tail back in the opposite direction to sweep them away. There wouldn't be a long time to respond but Veronica managed to jump it and avoid most of the damage. Her Mudkip bravely came out to throw a Water Gun to its face and, although the Hydreigon didn't even flinch, it revealed a shiny trinket of sorts stuck between its tooth.
"Pisces, get back here!!" Veronica called out while sending her Flygon to fly directly at the Hydreigon and launch a Dragon Pulse that would finally drive the enemy back a few steps.

Abby kept her silence as the three of them entered the castle, until she noticed the bones scattered about the place. "Eugh, that's gross! Who hasn't been doing their job in the cleanup crew? Ugh," Absinthe complained, completely ignoring what the bones implied by them simply laying there. The tiny Hydreigon caught her off-guard, but the small Dragon-type probably didn't expect the laughing fit to come. "Wow, that thing's adorable!" she laughed, clearly mocking the small Pokemon who was at the moment being distracted by Veronica's Pokemon. Forcing herself to calm down, but not letting go of her mocking smirk, Abby let Broly out of her ball. "Come on, Broly, you can ha- wait, what!? When did you evo- oh right, that Ein thing," Abby said, experiencing a mix of emotions before settling annoyed at herself for just a moment before her mocking smirk came back. "Actually, you know what? This is perfect. Broly, use Force Palm!"

Said Breloom waited for her trainer to get over herself before obeying her command, lunging at the hilariously tiny Hydregion with a fist powerfully imbued with Fighting-type energy in an attempt not only to make it faint, but paralyze it Once the move struck, she'd leap back to her trainer's side and wait for further instructions.

(If the random number is 1-3, the tiny Hydreigon is paralyzed.)

Requiem of Whyspers
Arkelos

Arkelos and Jezebel looks at Wren with a smile. "Sure thing." Said Arkelos, "We would welcome you to our little group, i brought snacks." Jezebel said pulling out some poffins from a bag in her shaw.

Seconds later they find themselves staring out to a landscape of a forest, camp ground, and a lake not far. "Camp Crystal Lake?" Jezebel said questioning the title. Arkelos' ears began to twitch more than normal. "Uhhh, yall? Why do i get the feeling we are being watch. If not hunted." Arkelos said with a sharp glare into the woodlands. Jezebel looks around with fear slowly crawling up her spine. "I know what you mean. What about you Wren? Are you getting any odd feelings?" She said with a scratchy throat.

Wren nodded quietly to the pair he'd grouped up with. "Actually.. Ya. I do feel like we're being watched. I can't figure out why, though." He responded as the unusual ghost of a sound repeated.

Ch ch ch, ah ah ah

"Just... stay on guard, I guess. We need to find whatever 'treasure' of Hoopa's got lost here if we're going to rescue Odd." He decided, more to himself than to them. "I wanna say we should stay together out here, though. We're safer that way if something is after us already." Maybe someone's watched horror movies enough to know the tropes? Or maybe it was just his anxiety?

Ch ch ch, ah ah ah

Beyond the treeline, something shifted, watching as the trio conversed. The thing in it's hand shifted impatiently as Wren began to lead the way toward the office with the sign on it.

Paranoia and Fear crept into the mind of Jezebel, Arkelos' ears wouldnt keep twitching. "I really dont like the quietness, the air is filled with malice." Arkelos statement, Jezebel watched the tree line feverishly. "I swear, i saw something over by that cabin." They closely followed Wren toward the Office. "What do you expect is in there?" Arkelos asked

As Wren walked toward the cabin, he felt anxiety mounting in his chest. Something was definitely going on here and it was definitely not something nice. As he entered the cabin, he began to look around for any signs of Hoopa's "treasure". He couldn't seem to find anything, though, no matter how hard he searched or how many placed in the cabin he looked. Opening drawers and riffling through them, peeking around books on shelves, even going as far as to shift the rug and check under it.

By the time he, Jezebel and Arkelos had finished their search, they would hear a "thump"ing sound just outside, like footsteps as someone outside approached the door. "Um... Nobody else came with us... right?" Wren asked as the door rattled. Almost as soon as he was done asking, the door would suddenly stop rattling and a long blade would be shoved through it. Wren screamed at the sudden sight and before he could even think to try and escape, his artifact flashed and a thicket of strong thorny vines sprouted just outside the door.

Should anyone attempt to open it, they'd find a solid black, humanoid figure wearing a vaguely human-like mask wielding a machete in one hand. A Yamask hybrid? Except it's mask looked more like sporting equipment and less like a Yamask's.

"Rampardos! Head Smash!" Tristen shouted.

"BAWWWA!!!" The Rampardos made a hard rush for the ghostly chandelier and with the most reckless of rushes goes to smash his head right into the Chandelure. Someone was really playing with the wrong type tonight.

Tristen was a lot faster on the draw than Darts was tonight, the massive fire missile easily dodged by the young Snagem was not so easily swerved by the gambler. Maybe he was getting old. Either way, he swings his good leg in a crescent kick using his crutches for leverage to clear the nearby fire hydrant from the curb and unleash a gush of water to envelop himself in. The massive inferno engulfs him with an audible 'woosh' as it burns the oxygen in all directions. Inside the fire you could hear a half-garbled command to unleash a Twister.

Bagon obliges, the neon-green rock-head summoning forth a sidewinder gale that arches back and forth over the street, sucking the fire back inside it before proceeding to advance on the Chandelure. A mostly roasted Darts shakes his crest back and forth as he uses his crutches to pull himself out of the stream of water, some smoke still wafting from his crest. His red eyes are mirthless, and he is not happy about almost being murdered as he advances back towards where Tristen was now standing.

Tristen dodged effortlessly, with speed and grace that he had yet to fully harness but for now was enough to spare him the searing flames and having to explain to his parents why he was missing blotches of fur. Darts, while not as lucky in avoiding the attack in its entirety, reacted quick enough and with the help of a nearby hydrant mitigated the brunt of the incredibly hot fire, flames that would make any dragon sweat.

The 'leader' of the Wicks didn't know what to think as Tristen dodged, summoning forth a Pokemon he had never seen which had just rammed into what he thought was the most powerful Pokemon around, knocking it to the ground like it was nothing with its Head Smash and now a Bagon was turning his Pokemon's attack against it. As the fiery Twister closed in the grounded Ghost it wearily looked towards its trainer for advice however even if he could think of something it was no good, those Choice Specs were doing him no favors right now. He had never been in this situation before, typically he just overwhelmed anyone who dared step up to him with raw fire and if more was needed he just bumped it up further, rarely did it ever go that far. The only thought going through his head right now is that he wished his Pokemon had Flash Fire and now Flame Body as an ability.

As the Twister dyed in purple flames consumed the Chandelure the thug looked on in horror, the young punk beginning to realize how in over his head he was. Sirens had begun wailing in the distance, such a battle taking place in a residential neighborhood having not gone unnoticed. By the time he could consider this new development his Pokemon was flung out of the Twister and landed on the ground beside him, knocked completely out. While a Fire type its self it didn't stand a chance against a Flamethrower of that magnitude, coupled with the Twister its self, let alone the fact it just took a Head Smash head on, which it was a miracle that alone didn't take it out immediately. The golden Choice Specs now rested near the fire hydrant Darts had used earlier, cast off at some point in the Twister.

With the sound of the sirens getting close and red and blue lights coming in view the sniveling adolescent side had finally overpowered the faux bravado and the wannabe thug quickly recalled his Pokemon and tried to make a run for it, the police coming up the road behind him thus forcing him to run in the direction of Tristen and Darts, not even considering they might stop them.

The Snagems made it into the living room and Aden reached for the door to close and lock it as the voice suggested however right as he was closing it one of the hands took a flying leap and came through the door seconds before Aden closed it, preventing the other hand from getting in as it slammed into the door on the other side, a 'thud' sound heard. That was when Leslie stepped up to bat and slammed her extra mouth into the invading disembodied hand.

Upon contact with the appendage the 'hand' would explode in a puff of shadowy energy leaving behind a tiny little black fox in its place which was now cast aside laying knocked out cold in a nearby armchair. That Zorua wouldn't bother them anymore.

Shortly after Aden locked the door the same disembodied voice from before would speak yet again, in its singsong voice. "Five, six, grab your crucifix..." It echoed through out the living room.

Right after that line of the overall song was finished every item and piece of furniture in the room would seem to come to life, lifting up off the ground and beginning to fly around the room wildly. The armchair which the Zorua had fallen into, which mysterious disappeared at some point, was now hopping around on the ground having gained a full set of razor blade-like teeth, the bottom cushion becoming a mouth and it looked like it was hungry for a piece of Aden as it targeted him.

Leslie wouldn't be ignored either as the various scented candles around the room began to fly around her, their tiny little flames sporadically bursting into full blown Flamethrowers, threatening to test the head resistance of her steel body. It was bad enough that they had to watch out for the odd clock, book, or bowling balls, that were for whatever reason on display, coming at them but now some of these objects wanted them out right dead. Among the chaotic items one of them might spot an item listed in the song; a crucifix, spinning around in the vortex of items in the living room.

One thing that Tristen realized also about this town bully. And it seemed to be common for guys like this. Once the chips are down, cowardice runs high, and its time to turn tail. And once cowardice runs high, intelligence drops real low. "..." Tristen didn't really have really much patience for these guys any more. The Manetric hybrid would just sigh as the leader quickly approached them but then reached over, snatching the leader's arm and shot electricity through the leader in the form of Thunder Wave just as he did to his subordinate. "No." Tristen would simply say.

Darts had intended to clobber the running thug, but seeing as Tristen's evolution also seemed to have grant him a bit of a backbone to go with it... might as well let the newbie handle this one. He angles towards the remains of the fire hydrant and bends down to pick up the treasure....

The leftover bags of candy left behind by the hooligans. "Whuf we foin heref?" Darts asks through a mouthful of Snickers as he chomps into the full-sized bar he had unwrapped from the sack of candy.

Veronica was entertained by Abby's laugh, at least it would cheer her up from her previous mood. She nodded to herself, glad to see her doing better. As the Hydreigon stood paralyzed, the Flygon would not hesitate to bring down upon it another Dragon Pulse with forceful accuracy. "Okay that's enough..." Veronica approached the Hydreigon, whom had no choice but to give. "Nasty..." Veronica said as she dug into its mouth with her hand in order to fetch the golden, sparkling item. When a small crack was heard, the Hydreigon shook and ran away, leaving Veronica's hand sticky with the dragon's saliva. "Disgusting..." She took a look as she cleaned her hand off, while BlackCrystal sniffing at it, and noticed it was a golden Dragon Fang. "Eh? How does this work?" She took it back to Abby.

Veronica glanced around the place but there was nothing left to look at. "Let's get the ******** out of here"

There would be no argument from the leader of the Wicks, or rather there couldn't be any, Tristen's Thunder Wave hitting him before he even knew what was happening. His fear had gave him tunnel vision during his flight so it was a mystery whether or not he even saw Tristen standing there but that was no longer important, the thug was down along with his Pokemon, crisis averted.

Just as two police vehicles pulled up the golden Choice Specs would give off a glimmer of light, the ring they had gotten from Hoopa glowing in response to the proximity of the Choice Specs. The finger sized ring would then act on its own, floating up into the air and expanding into a large hoop like the one they used to get here. Their portal back was open.

The officers however did not know what to make of all this. They had gotten reports of a Pokemon battle getting out of hand in a residential neighborhood as well as gang activity so these officers were prepared for a fight, not some mystical event. Whatever their reason the officers did the only thing they were trained to do in a situation where there were too many unknown variables to make heads or tails of everything; arrest everyone and ask questions later.

"You two! Put your hands up and step away from the...ring?" One of the officers shouted at Darts and Tristen, both brandishing weapons. It didn't look good they were standing next to the immobile body of the teen hoodlum, a knocked out Pokemon, and a destroyed fire hydrant that was still spraying water and flooding the street. A Stoutland growled at the side of the other officer, just waiting for one of them to make a sudden movement and when they did it was on.

"That's what we came here for?" Absinthe asked, looking at the bespittled gold fang warily. "Alright, let's go, then," Abby started to walk beside Veronica toward the exit before remembering the Pokemon she'd left out and walking toward her. "Good job, Broly," Abby said, patting the female Breloom's head before recalling her and running to catch up with her Sableye hybrid tour guide.

Leslie would look towards the now living arm chair, already preparing to simply intersect between Aden and the living furniture so he could settle out whatever weird stuff was needed to keep going and get out of this mess. Which is the exact moment that the candles made their presence known, gouts of flame lancing across the room and sending Leslie scrambling around in a mild panic. However, she was learning since her last effort failed so miserably. Opening a Pokeball in front of her, she would look towards her dopey Torkoal for a moment before giving an apologetic smile to Michelangelo. "Sorry, buddy. Brace yourself and use Fire Spin!" Leslie commanded, the Torkoal quickly tucking itself away before Leslie came swinging in with her iron weight of a second mouth, sending the Fire type sliding across the floor and spewing out torrents of flame as it slid towards where Aden and the living couch of death.

"Lead the couch into Mikey, stupid! Then grab the crucifix! I got the rest of this stuff!" Leslie bellowed, digging in her heel as she quickly reversed direction and began charging towards the candles and other objects flying around the room. She didn't want to have time to think about the ungodly pain that the fire and bludgeoning objects she was running towards would cause her. If she did, then she wouldn't be able to defend Aden like she needed to for this to work and he'd be the one to get assaulted. So there she was, swinging her ponytail of doom as best she could while being incinerated by a bunch of the cheapest candles Nacrene Candle could offer. So not only was she being fried, she smelt like a candy factory exploded on a flower shop. Somebody was gonna die after this. At least if she didn't.

With the next line that came, Aden had a feeling that maybe they expected the crucifix flying around the room to be held out like someone's feeble attempt at defense and holding it out like it'd shield them from the sins crawling on their back. He'd jump onto the couch as it tried to take a bite out of him, kicking off it to give himself some distance and hoping to push it towards Leslie's Torkoal. "I'll let the remark slide this time," he'd comment as he dove into the vortex and barely threaded it enough to catch the crucifix and dodge an axe- wait who the hell keeps an axe in their living room?

"Just make sure that couch is a lot less couch when you're done! Also, just in case..." Sending out Poliwrath and mindful to avoid the various items hellbent on doing some sort of death, dismemberment, or both, he'd rear back with the crucifix. "Something tells me they're not gonna like water much. Be ready with a Rain Dance."

"For now, though, I think this'll be better with you! Here, play... fetch?" Aden was about to throw the crucifix at the Zorua from earlier, but finally realized it was... gone? Or posing as something else... he kept an eye out, ready to toss it if he needed to.
