Nowe thought about her question. He had never thought of it that way. "Search for the tower I guess. We're bound to run into a few teams along the way anyway" He said, watching as the other genin got organized. This was not going to be an easy day.

Zane watched Nowe and Kiritina talk about strategy. "That sounds like a good plan, but we should try and locate the other scroll early on so we don't lose time." Zane said, hoping he wasn't about to get told off.

Nowe looked to Zane, listening. He had been a new addition to their team a few weeks ago. He didn't know much about Zane, except that he to was a fire ninja and would make excellent teammate in battle. So he wasn't to worried. "Alright, well we can probably sent Kiri to scout out. Her wind specialty decreases her wind resistance, so she's alot faster and lighter then we are."

"Yea keep a good eye out" she said seeing a giant centipede crawling down a tree and shivered slightly. Why did it have to be giant bugs normal sized ones were bad enough. "Come on" Kohane said walking a bit quicker as she looked around so far they hadn't seen any other teams for better or worse.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata chuckled, listening to her teammates plan. She still wasn't too sure about Zane but he seemed to be okay. It was kind of odd to her though, to be the only one who didn't use fire jutsu. It was fine by her, however odd it felt. Combined, wind and fire made one hell of an explosion. "How lovely, you guys. Send the only female in ahead of everyone." She told them teasingly. "What big strong men you are." She knew why she was being sent ahead though and it made sense. She just liked teasing them.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"You hungry, Kita?" Tayu whispered to the bird on her shoulder, smiling a bit. The bird only glanced at the bug, then fluffed out his feathers. "Even if I were, that centipede is much too large for me to finish off by myself," He whispered back. "Concentrate on keeping yourself and your teammates safe." Tayu gave the bird a sheepish grin. "Sorry, Kita, you're right." She looked over at Kikou. "Why so quiet, Kikou-kun? Giant bug got your tongue?"

Tayu cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "Did you not just see the ginormous centipede on that tree? You must be living inside your head, Kikou. What had you so caught up in your thoughts?" she asked, playfully knocking on the top of Kikou's head with her fist.

"sorry I was just thinking what would happen if we run into another team and how best to deal with them. It mite take a few days before we even get to the tower, so we should try not to use up or strength in our first fight. or at lest that's what I think." he looked down at his feet as he walked

"Don't look at your feet, Kikou. You should be aware of your surroundings." She smiled. "Besides, even if Silent-sensei were a better teacher and looked out for us like he should, he's not here, so we've still gotta take care of ourselves, and we haven't run into anyone yet, so we're safe for the moment." She looked around for any signs of the creatures that inhabited the Forest of Death or traps. "As long as we don't set off any traps."
