"Keep that for another time." Rock replied to Lilly and took her staff put the 2 brooms back together and away. Rock walked up beside Sophie "I'm off to inspect the cannons, captain." Rock informed before heading down to the floor where the cannons were. He pulled one back and use a flash light to check the barrel...

Rock looked up to Lilly and pondered a bit. "Just give me a minute, I might have something for you to do." He replied before turning back to the cannon. He took a towel he had beside him and rubbed the inside of the barrel. "Just as I thought..." He sighed as he pulled out the towel, who had changed from grey blue to dark rusty brown. "I'll be needing that big metal brush on the wall over there." He pointed where it was for Lilly to find it.

((I'm thinking the cannons are gunpowder fueled... Unless you want your ship to be more technological and have energy cannons instead =P Then it would be the coils who'd be rusted and will edit =P))

"Rub out all the rust to that the cannon's barrel is clean. It reduces the risk of anything getting caught and exploding. Thanks." He said as he took the brush as started shoving it in and out of the barrel quickly, scrubbing the edges clean. once that has done he moved to the back of the cannon. (I'm gonna say it's activated by a lever. It is in a modern world, they don't have to have a fire fuse XD) "I'll be needing a star screwdriver. I want to check the electronic components... Oh and I might be needing water and baking soda too, if you pass by something like that, please" Rock asked politely as he wondered what other surprises he will find inside the electronic console. If they weren't operational because of a short circuit because of an exposed wire, a cut or chewed wire or ground mishaps, he was useless in electronics. He was never taught anything in that...

((It gives me something to have my character work on! XD And you said it ran down in the family, so it's older than most ships, it sails on salt water AND I doubt that Sophie used the cannons very often, now did she? =P That's the image I have in my mind, a rusty ship XP))

Rock shrugged. "Might just dust a little, check the electronics rapidly for any acetic acid residues that often form on electronic components. It's a quick wash with a tissue dabbed in water mixed with baking soda. If there is any, it'll make bubbles and will attack the acid. I'll also make sure they have the ammo nearby so it would be ready to be loaded with ever have to use them" Rock pointed out.

((Fine, fine XP I'd have my character get the armory organized with all the new stuff he brought, but I bet the traps are set back are they =/ And btw, I know about electronics, I work in a car body shop and I know what happens with electronic components that have a battery and don't get washed =P Cuz yep, not only am I an RP addict, I also work on cars and I draw =P I'm not saying she's lazy, I was looking for something for my character to do XP Did she take all the electric stuff apart every month from the cannons, or am I also mistaken? =J))

Scott continued to work on his weapon as the Techies finished up with the engine modifications. They had reinforced most of the block as well as installed the converter platform for the energy source. Scott had told the crew to deliver the parts needed earlier. As soon as the engine was done, one of the Techies went to inform Kira.

Scott had everything connected, but the weapon still would not work yet. He pulled out a hammer and started to form the metals he added. As soon as he was done he slid on the weapon, having it cover his whole left arm. It was an extension to one of his gauntlets. Deeming it a perfect fit, he began to run wires inside of the thing, also connecting other little parts on the inside.

Rano took the compass before making his way up the mast and settled in the crow's nest, looking at the compass and before grinning. "lets hope everyone else is so acustomed to the cold as use Captain"

Zackory looked down to one of his crew members giving more orders "Get the Twin generators running and start the pulse engine, we'arent gunna get anywhere with the wind at this speed!!" He grinned as the man gave a salute before relaying his orders to the other men, with that the Men worked pulling levers as two large glowing sheet like platforms protruded from the ships hull, just as long as the ship itself and giving it the look of a ship with wings, as the generator was switched on a low hum could be heard as the wings began to shift colors and the ship itself seemed to rise up out of the water and rest on a thin layer of air just above the waters surface as Zackory let out a bellowing laugh "lets get this vessel moving!" with that said he pushed on, making sure not to leave the others behind.

Scott felt the engine lurch underneath his feet. Not loosing balance in the slightest. He continued the wiring of his new weapon. He weaved the wires around in a layer between the metal exoskeleton and a padding layer underneath he installed. As soon as he connected them to a central dais, he pulled his hands out and put the whole thing together. Pulling out the power source, he placed it on the outside of the dais and placed holders over it so it didn't fall out.

The weapon hummed to life with the proses finished. He smiled and nodded. His arm was now sleek silver, charged with enough power to kill many who challenge him. Of course, he would probably never use that much. It could manage for generations.

Rock was looking at the way the cannon was made when he heard a muffled mumbling and looked towards her and sighed. He got up and dusted his coat and walked up to her. "Hmm... how... I'll grab your legs and pull, okay? Tell me if I'm hurting you..." Rock replied. and grabbed her thighs and blushed. This looks so inappropriate... as he looked away and tried pulling a little to find she was well jammed. He placed a foot on the cannon's edge and tugged harder and heard a POP and felt himself falling backwards. He looked backwards, his hood falling backwards. He landed on his back with Lilly on top of him.
