"You know I will." Daemon said with a smile before giving her a kiss as he fell back on the bed, pulling Larai with him.

Larai gladly returned the kiss, truly believing that nothing could possibly go wrong from this moment on. Of course, this was probably just her secretly feeling all giddy about marrying Daemon - a man who didn't just treat her like a toy or dump her for another man.

The next morning, Daemon woke up feeling like anyone else the day after a big event and a day of fun and excitement: tired, and extremely comfortable at the moment. He didn't want to get up any time soon, so he snuggled up closer to Larai instead.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai had yet to wake up and was already snuggled close to Daemon, seeming ever so caught in bliss with that big sleepy grin plastered on her lips.

He was awake. Daemon knew he was awake, but was in that state where he kept his eyes shut in hopes of returning to dreamland for another couple of hours. This rarely works however, so he reluctantly opened his eyes ever so slightly to smile wearily at Larai. Wrapping his arms around her waist and a wing over her, he held her close in blissful comfort until she was ready to start the day with him.

It didn't take too long for her to awaken, but as was normal for these mornings, she didn't want to wake up. She just wanted to snuggle close and sleep the morning through. They both knew that they couldn't, but it was still something they liked imagining.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Good morning." Daemon said softly and gave her a small peck on the cheek. "How much longer do you think we can get away with staying in bed today?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"A little longer, I hope. We could probably get away with longer if we claimed we got carried away during sex or something." Larai mumbled in reply, snuggled all the closer as she closed her eyes once more.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Knowing our habits, I'm sure the kids will believe it." Daemon said with a chuckle.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Good. Let's just stay here for awhile longer, then." Larai replied with a small snicker.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"How could I say no to reasoning like that?" Daemon joked with a chuckle, one hand finding and resting on top of Larai's.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai simply let herself lay there beside Daemon, pretending like there wasn't a world outside of their bedroom waiting for them. "Exactly. We can just stay here for a little longer. Together. Relaxing."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And hopefully soon, we'll be together and relaxing on a nice sunny beach somewhere."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Mhmm. I'll be sure to wear the best swimsuit I can find." Larai murmured in reply with a broad grin. "Maybe if we're lucky, we can find a valuable treasure or two to swipe."

"We'll have to look up islands with previous pirate activity then. I'm sure you'd make for a wonderful pirate queen."
