Mana_ecl Zetsuya Anonymous_Alcoholic Mana_ecl Zetsuya Ruhi: You're not missing much with XIII... Total let down, but it was a step up from XII. Goddamnit shut your whore mouth. XII had excellent story, pacing, character development and a far more enjoyable and nuanced fighting system than people give it credit for. XIII was a step down, a pretty big step down. At least in XII I didn't net an instant game over when enemies decided to juggle-focus my party leader, my companions didn't need me to hold their hand throughout an entire fight, and the story was just... Meh. Plus the linear thing. Correction, XII had potential for a great plot, but became deluded halfway through. Both had their combat flaws. XIII just dropped the ball a lot. xD
A lot meaning the entire game? That's a lot of dropped balls. XII was one of the best entries. Deal with it.
