Dylan walked out onto the pitch, the first Ravenclaw chaser to arrive. He smiled and nodded to Eli, Lola and Lexine before sitting himself down and doing his usual stretches, wondering if they'd lose again like last time. He'd had about enough of a losing streak to stand, these past few years.

Addie made her way to the pitch. She really let down the team last game having let Dani get hit way too many times by the other teams Bludgers. The girl knew she was in a heap of trouble just by the way that Joel looked at her after the game... and he was her friend... Dani didn't look too pleased either. Maybe, she was making all this up in her head. If she wanted to keep this position on the team she was going to have to put her head into the game and focus. The brunette flopped on the ground and began stretching.

That was so unusual for her to be the last maybe all the Gryffindors were finally putting their game faces on. To say that the last game went well is a complete lie. But even though it seemed that you know what hit the fan maybe the team needed that? Now they needed to hunker down and focus. They were against Ravenclaw now and this team had the experienced players that Gryffindor was lacking. Speaking of players... where was Benjamin? She wanted to wish him luck.

Benjamin hadn't been late, but he really wasn't early either. A lot of the players were already at the pitch, with the exception of Timothy. So, Benjamin gave a smile to the team as he walked up, beginning a few stretches. They were going to be facing Gryffindor that day and Benjamin instantly knew what that meant. He would be facing his girlfriend Ariana. He wouldn't go easy because he knew that she wouldn't do that for him. He already knew he was going to hate if she got hit with a bludger though, but that was a part of the game...they all signed up for it. Plus, Benjamin hated losing so he certainly was going to try his hardest...that was for sure.

❝Timothy ran out onto the field, weezing silently when he finally made it but thankfully not as dead as he would've been. Guess he could thank Chalmes and his damned endurance training for something. Egads, was that his heart? Was it supposed to be beating like that?! Half of the adrenaline he was sure came from the fact that it would be the worst type of shame if he didn't show up to the game, or later than he was now, as captain. He had been studying in the library the nights he didn't schedule practice to prepare for his OWL's at the end of the year and he had fallen asleep the moment his head touched the pillow and had completely forgotten to set an alarm. He was only awoken by the noise of the boys in his dorm as they got ready for the game today which made him remember that he was supposed to be here. Great Merlin, he didn't even want to imagine what would've happened if he had actually slept through the game! He gave all his teammates, the ones that were there at least, a grin happy to see that at least some people at time management, and even gave the few Gryffindors he knew a wave before trying to do his stretches without hacking up his pancreas.❞

Benjamin rose into the air as quickly as possible, hoping to get a beat on the ball before the Gryffindor chaser got to it. He had a slight head start, but maybe Benjamin could beat him there. He flew towards the quaffle and reached for it, his outstretched hand ready to grab if he got to it quick enough. It was unfortunate but he was beat to the quaffle, but he readied himself by moving back and putting himself in a defensive position, hoping that he could stop the oncoming Gryffindor break...or at least, slow it down as much as he could.
