It doesn't matter much that it's an ally now or not, but if something doesn't work out... Well, then we're at a tactical disadvantage, no? I won't be executing him, essentially, but I need to get my custom technique clear for the meeting first.

Technically, Kin's taking an enormous gamble in the end, by letting Sypher go (as I've agreed out of character), because she's doing much the same that Dai did by letting him go. A man with information most vital~ So there's really only two options to the safety of the village, which Kin will hold to above all~
