Mana: I could probably squeeze it in, I just gotta' fit that in along with an at least 700 page essay.
I already have the setting, and I'm gonna work out the characters tonight...

... You mean word, right? That's just sick, otherwise. @.@
Ah. I wrote a short story in a matter of hours... And it was twice the length I was supposed to write. xD

Oh, yeah, I mean word. XP
Well, normally I'd just dive in, but this is an actual competition type of thing.
Plus I went through the creative writing book to see how I could improve my writing and I've just been busy.
They're gonna read through the entires and stuff and decide who makes the cut and who wins. So I wanna do my best. XP

The Invisible Ring. If you've never read it - or any of Anne Bishop's Black Jewels stuff - then you won't have any idea. Essentially, this chick named Dorothea systematically eliminated everyone in the realm that posed a threat to her, and that means anyone that has a darker Jewel than her. The only one that she hasn't been able to deal with is the Grey Lady, as the Grey Lady's jewel is Grey, which is stronger than Dorothea's Red. But none of that is really important in regards to my raging.
The Grey Lady, who was this old woman for most of the book, has a strange psychic scent about her, as noted by the main character Jared. This psychic scent causes unwarranted arousal from Jared and he can't figure out why he would possibly be aroused by this elderly Queen who purchases slaves. It turns out that the psychic scent that he is picking up on is really her granddaughter's, who Jared falls absolutely in love with.
Tl;dr: THEONEONETHATDIESISDOROTHEA'SCAPTAINOFTHEGUARD.

Good evening/morning/afternoon, everyone. I really need someone to look at the profile I posted and see about getting it accepted.
Anyway. How is everyone?
