A light touch and familiar voice disturbed his train of thought. Masaru wondered who was trying to grasp for his attention, even as he turned his head towards the individual. So it was Aylin, an acquaintance from the academy. Beautiful as Aylin appeared, especially in the warm glow of daylight, Masaru did not seem waver one bit. No, he continued to hide beneath that mysterious facade that molded his reputation up to this very day. Though he was more open around close friends, Masaru was known for his quiet and solemn attitude around most other people. His clear, amethyst eyes settled onto her own unique gaze and as she spoke, he appeared attentive to what she had to say, though not a single word left his lips the entire time. No nod, no change in his facial expression, nothing at all. He just continued to quietly stare and listen to her as she spoke. Hopefully, Aylin would understand that by simply giving her his attention and by his missing headband, he agreed to her question. His eyes drifted to her smile and studied it for a moment. It felt... warm. Much like warm rays of sunlight or sweet tea fresh from a boiling kettle, but with a twist that Masaru wasn't used to. Emotions weren't his strongest point.

Yet again his thoughts were interrupted when another shinobi opened the door to allow them into the Wazurai-sama's office. Masaru gave Unisean a mere and polite nod and continued on into the office, right beside Aylin. A moment later Aylin spoke again, this time with a tinge of cherry red in her cheeks and a hint of concern in her voice. Masaru wondered what that meant, that unfamiliar, tomato hue that colored her smooth cheeks. He had noticed it before, usually when he helped tutor girls at the academy, but honestly never gave any thought to what it really meant. His neutral gaze temporarily faded and he managed to give Aylin a very vague, yet confident smile, subconsciously hoping it would reassure her. No... but I'm as anxious to get started. he thought to himself. His eyes traveled back to the Hokage and settled calmly upon the wise and experienced man. Uncle... what are you up to... he wondered as he started analyzing the scene. The two continued to patiently wait for their Kage's attention. Masaru was sure that Wazurai-sama knew why they were here. Perhaps, not only would he provide them with headbands, but maybe even an advanced mission to get them started?

Today was the big day. The day that Kenta could finally get his headband and because the greatest ninja the Hidden Leaf village had ever known. Of course, with any great day, it didn't always go so well for everyone. Kenta stumbled down the street that lead to the Hokage's off. Stopping for a second, he looked up at one of the roofs and saw a bird sitting there. He smirked a little and pointed at it. "Hey you! Yeah the one roof! What you looking?" The bird tilted its head and simply flew away. Kenta gave a small laugh. "Yeah that's what I thought!" The last bit of words that came out of his mouth were kind of mumbled and at this point, he simply started back down the road.

Now anyone that knew Kenta, would know that he was little more drunk then normal. His parents raised him to be a proud member of the Oni Clan and by doing that they got him hooked on drinking. While most of the time, he could have a pretty good blood alcohol level, he wasn't always loopy. He got use to it, and it took a lot more these days to get him to act silly. However, today was one of those days. He always found that he drunk more when he was nervous and he had good reasons to be nervous. Today he would start a new chapter in his life. He would officially be a ninja in his village. This was an honor in his eyes. Growing up, kids weren't always nice to him. After all he had a pair of horns growing out the side of his head. It was tough, but with the help of some friends, he made it through. Now that everything was coming together, he didn't want to let his friends down.

Finally getting to the office door he stopped abruptly, which caused him to sway a little bit. Alright Kenta...Think about this for a second. I know you are drunk and just want to kick the door down but that wouldn't be good. As he held the conversation with himself in his head, he just stood there in front of the door. He would sway a little, but that was about all he could do. Kenta wasn't totally stupid when drunk, but he did let his impulses take over a little more. So while he could think things out, they took a little longer. Finally coming to a decision, Kenta lifted a gloved hand up and knocked on the door. Waiting for an answer, he tried to keep his cool. Hopefully the Hokage wouldn't be mad with him showing up drunk like this.

Uinsean poked his head out the door again, and waved in yet another fresh shinobi. "The Hokage will see to you shortly, come join the others.." He spoke calmly, looking at the odd shinobi for a moment, unfamiliar with his clan. Then returned to the other side of the room. "They always come in waves.." He thought to himself, remembering his own wave of genin a year ago.

Seeing a someone pop out of the Hokages office, it took him a second or two to really register it. When he finally did, he slipped into the office trying to be as quite as he could. He took what the man said as the Hokage was busy with someone else. This of course could mean someone else from the village, or someone else from outside the village. If it was the latter he didn't want to give their village a name for having drunk shinobi running around. Then again he smelled kind of like alcohol, so that plan might be out of the window.

When his train of thought finally jumped to a different set of tracks, he saw the others that the man was talking about. Of course he recognized his good friend Masaru right away, and then noticed the other girl. He couldn't put his finger on a name but he knew that he knew her, and that she was a Genin. Anyways, keeping from letting out a squeal that would rival that of a little school girl geeking out over her favorite band, he went with a giant wave in the air instead. Making his way across the room he stood next to Masaru, trying to look around and take in what was happening. He was starting to get less drunk and thus his more logical functions were kicking in. However, like turning on a bright light once your eyes adjusted to the dark, things always seemed a bit fuzzy.

Zain nodded to the Hokage, showing no sign of disagreement for he held none. "Don't worry, I plan on only teaching this kid in my time as a shinobi then I would just become a traveling Monk again if he dies." She bowed to the hokage and turned around. "Nice seeing you Hokage-sama, you should visit Yuki sometime and try my Sate. It's kinda like tea..." He bowed his head only to the children and gently pushed past them, barely holding back a chuckle of the boys starring at a female child.

Reiko seemed to appear inside the office, materializing next to the Half Drunk Kanta and the Beautiful Aylin. Reiko took notice of them, more so then normal Genin for they seemed a bit...different. Regardless, Reiko handed the Hokage a piece of paper giving a detailed description of the events that unfolded. He turned towards Uinsean and gestured towards the outside"Shikatsu is going to need you're help. This guy is hard to get pinned, I'll handle the Genin" He said sincerely before turning towards the three Genin. One, a Beautiful young Kunocihi, One a solemn looking male and the other a boozed up boy with horns on his head. Perfect. Reiko was...intimidating at any point but with full Battle Armor and his Sharingan Still active he was downright terrifying. His Crimson pupils flicked between the three distinctly different shinobi when he suddenly looked back to the Hokage and Smiled"I'll take them. Shade is ready for Chuunin and doesn't require me anymore anyways" He turned back to the Genin with a ghost of a smile tugging at the edge of his lips, this was going to get interesting

"It was nice seeing you as well, I hope to visit soon." Wazurai said as Zain left. He shifted his gaze over to the three genin in his office. "Congratulations on passing your test and making it to Genin. The road from here on out will be a long a grueling one. If you make the cut for the life a Ninja in Konoha, I assure you the rewards will be immeasurable. Here in Konoha, we believe it's important for the individual to grow both on their own and as a group. You are free to borrow any of the scrolls in the Academy or at the dojo, however an Instructor will be assigned to you temporarily-" As he was about to finish his sentence, Reiko arrived, via shunshin, in the middle of the group of Genin.

"I would assume that this rude entry means you have important information?" Receiving the offered note, Wazurai quickly scanned it for the pertinent facts. His gaze swiftly shot from the paper to Reiko, when he ordered another Jonin. "Belay that, Uinsean. Reiko, I am extremely disappointed in you. Not only did you fail to catch this, Jack character, you are overstepping your bounds. You are relieved of command for this mission, Noctis will be placed in charge of hunting down and executing Jack." He said sharply, as he stood to his full height of 6' 2" and looking Reiko dead in the eyes. "Uinsean, congratulations on your first team of Genin. Your responsibilities include any assistance with group training, offering them advice on solo training, and escorting them on any mission outside of the village." Wazurai spoke, removing three Hitai-te from his desk, while simultaneously staring at Reiko with an intensity unusual for the normally kind Hokage."You are all dismissed. Oh, and Reiko, go inform your commander to double check the Serec Fields, judging by his skill range, I doubt he went elsewhere."

Uinsean's eyes flared up a little in surprise as he heard him speak, but stopped suddenly as the Hokage spoke. He was a little shaken from the feeling in the room, and that wasn't a normal feeling for him. He nodded to the Hokage, and took the headbands, walking over to the Genin. He handed them each one, and smiled lightly. "Looks like I'll be getting to know each of you better from now on.. Come with me." He spoke calmly, and walked to the door of the office, waiting for the three Genin.

Reiko stared down the Hokage. This time he had gone too far. He had been the Mule for the village day in and day out and now he was done. He did the best he could and made a suggestion the Uinsean should help his teammate, not an order. Whats more is he deliberately belittled him as much as possible in front of three students he very much wished to teach. So, Reiko stood his ground and returned Wazurai's gaze unwavering. The Hokage was trying to intimidate him, he always had been. So he simply stood there, watching The Hokage with the same intense glare he gave him"You've gone too far" He said simply, a statement that would change their relationship whether for the better or worse. Reiko knew he was more powerful then the Kage,but he would not come to blows with him. He was still a Shinobi. No he preferred for this to be settled with words...

Masaru quickly and quietly digested the unfolding. Though he seemed to overlook the strange stare he received from Reiko, he did however greet his close friend, Kenta, with a light nod of his head. Afterwards, he raised an eyebrow at Kenta as if to say, 'you def drank too much this time', in a friendly, inside-joke kind of manner. He knew his friend could probably read his gesture and even so, a vague smile tugged at the corner of Masaru's mouth. That smile faded, however, when Uncle finally gave them his attention. Wazurai spoke quite a few inspirational words that electrified Masaru from within. Although he didn't show it on the outside, he couldn't wait to begin his training! Next, they were so suddenly assigned as a group, under the man that let them in earlier, Uinsean. Studious eyes fell onto his new teacher as Masaru began his deduction of the man. He honestly had not met him before. Not in the academy, nowhere. He might have seen Uinsean once or twice on the streets or at the Hokage's office but Masaru never really paid close attention to the man before. Now, this fella was his teacher. Without a word, he silently acquired his headband from Uinsean and held it in his own two hands for a moment. It appeared that this marked the beginning of his new path. A brand new story lied ahead, for him and his friends~ Strangely enough, Masaru tied the headband tightly around his mouth (or the lower portion of his face, starting from beneath his nose) with the metallic side pointed slightly to the left, allowing the comfy fabric of his band to rest over his mouth instead of the hard, metal plate. It almost symbolized the usual silence he displayed day in and day out. Furthermore, it fortified the mystery around his past and present life. There were quite a few things about him that not even his close friends knew. Returning his attention to their new teacher, Masaru gave him a slight and polite nod before following the man.

Thankfully, Kenta had sobered up enough to finally get a grip on the matters that were happening in the office at the very moment. If he hadn't, his head would probably be spinning while he tried to figure things out, and in the end might have just yelled something really random. He looked over at Masaru just as he gave him the look, and couldn't help but give off a small laugh. He kind of knew the man who appeared. After all he was an Uchiha much like Masaru. They were after all well known in the village. However, Kenta didn't know the man that well himself. It seemed like he wanted to train them, but the Hokage seemed to have different plans.

Watching the three headbands being pulled from the desk and handed to their new teacher, Kenta wanted to throw his fist in the air and scream. However, he decided not to. With all that was going on, it didn't seem like the right time to do that. As Uinsean approached him with the headband, Kenta took it in his hands, and gave a slight blow of his head. He knew this was a great honor to be getting one of these. Grabbing the ends, he lifted it up to his neck, and tied it off nice and tight. Not to tight of course, but just right. He wouldn't mind putting it on his head, but the horns would have made it annoying to try and do himself. Seeing Masaru head for the door, he looked back at the Uchiha man and the Hokage hoping everything was going to be alright. However, that wasn't the biggest thing for him right now. Right now, it was time to train. Kenta headed for the door ready to leave.

Uinsean thought for a moment, and then took out his notebook. He wrote a quick note, and took out a small amount of ryo. He handed the currency, and note to the boy who didn't smell faintly like alcohol, not knowing if the other was sober yet. It simply read. "Go buy each of you ramen as a group, then meet me at the Academy, and pick a scroll of each element you can use." He smiled slightly to him, then handed the girl her headband, motioning them to leave.

((I won't be on till later tomorrow, I have work and plans. Possibly a little absence Saturday as well, sorry for any inconvenience..))

×××POST: Aylin noticed that Masaru-kun was the quiet type and said nothing as he just nodded to her. Noticing Kenta she smiled at him as he entered; not minding the stench of alcohol that clung to him; Aylin was fairly used to this as her parents did own a restaurant and many times had she helped a customer or customers home when they were drunk. Aylin stepped back a bit as Reiko stared at her, a heated blush upon her cheeks as she looked at him from the corner of her eye, smiling proportionality she wondered if he was just glancing at her or something more. His red pupils, glaring down at them as she shivered slightly; his smile barely noticeable.

As the Hokage said his words to them, Reiko had interrupted them and and got chastised brutally by the Hokage. Moments later the Hokage assigned them all to the same squad and with Uinsean; she didn't know the man because she was spending most of her time studying and helping her family. Aylin took her headband and wrapped it around her right thigh, with some difficulty. Turning around she gave Reiko a polite smile and a small wave, before of course leaving with the rest of her squad happily but went to the academy first instead, after all she'd had enough ramen.

Masaru casually received the note and money that Uinsean handed him. His curious eyes wandered down to it.. Ramen and element scrolls? It appeared that Uinsean wouldn't be so bad a teacher after all; not the part about their scrolls, but the whole handing them money to get some ramen with... it wasn't what Masaru expected about their new sensei yet he continued to keep his wits about him, holding back from making any final judgments about Uinsean's character.

"See you... soon." a light murmur escaped his lips from behind the headband he wore over his mouth. He was not hungry, however, and he felt that Kenta already knew what he had in mind. No, no ramen for Masaru; now was not the time for food, now was the time to train. "Here, Kenta. If you're hungry..." he handed Kenta his share for the ramen. He was about to give the girl her share too, but she had already left. So with a nonchalant wave, he was off too, headed towards the academy.
