Arina looked to Berner as she heard him call out to her before thinking and finally answering. "well, i havent been with you, thats for sure."

Arina watched Berner run off before shrugging and following after him at her own pace, she didnt see any point in running.

Elly caught up to Arina, "Do you mind if I watch the fight from the mechanics booth? I can't be caught dead outside in such hot weather watching it."

"im not bothered, not like i own the place." Arina continued to follow after Berner, reaching the arena gates and entering through into the contestants area.

Elly continued to follow Arina, "So... what exactly is the whole... point to this tournament. It seems kind of odd to me, and we didn't get a chance to ask when we "met" for the first time."

"the point of the tournament is to show off the effectivness and quality of your machines and tech, the winner will obviously be recognized as the best and the more people talk about you, and the more people who do that, the more people will pay you to make things." Arina entered into the large room allocated to her and Berner before picking up her tool belt and strapping it on.

Elly looked at all the stuff in the room, "I wonder if it would be against the rules to have me enhance your equipment you make with my magic. I am pretty good at magic."

Elly went to lounge in one of the chairs in the room. "I'll be over here reading my spell book until the match starts. Tell me if you need me for anything." she said as she pulled out her book and started to read.
