The Outside World

Daniel mumbled in his sleep sometimes, mostly nonsense, but it was better than silence.

Icarus checked over her shoulder constantly, making sure everyone was still here and that unwelcomed guests weren't there either.

Collin sighs softly and glances around

Icarus smiled at Collin softly and flew underneath him. flying upside down.

He blinks and smiles, he takes her hand and pulls her so they were so close that their chests were touching

Icarus smiled softly and kissed him gently.

He kisses her back smiling sweetly.

Icarus smiled at him softly and pet his head.

Blanche looked at everyone, from person to person, bird to bird. They seemed to be okay, even Daniel on her back. Always a good sign. She looked over her back and him at the little flock. "I think we should get out of here.. I think we're in Boston right now... We should go to a small town.. Like, one no one notices.." She said, half thinking.

The outside world. It was such a wonderful and glorious place for him. The sights, sounds, and people were amazing to his senses. It almost made up for his speech impare. He glanced from the faces of the people in the New England city. He was in Boston, Massachusettes. The city was grand and strechted itself open and willingly for him. It wanted him to walk up and down the streets, to eat the chowder or chowdah as they said. It made him wish that he could say chowdah freely. People seemed to get quiet and hushed when he past by. The word Boston was thrown around like a baseball for the people.
He blinked trying to recall if that was a capital of something. He wasn't sure. Didn't they have a team called Red Shoes or something like that? He nodded contently. That's what they were called. The Red Shoes. Maybe he could discuss their stats with some of the people. He walked up to a group of kids a bit older than him. They turned to glare at him. He smiled akwardly and stepped backwards. Maybe he could find some different people. Ones that weren't so scary. The older teens - they were not kids to be older than him - muttered gossip about him. What was it? It was his fashion style if that's what they were talking about.
While walking away, he couldn't help to look down at his outfit. The skirt he wore was absolutely stylish. Wait, he probably got it wrong. All the males he had seen so far have been wearing either pants or shorts. He decided to himself that if he had the time, or money, he would buy him a better outfit. It got him stares from the average normal people. He could not help himself. The skirt was just to comfortable to him. Oh well. "Woop." He muttered to agree with himself.

Daniel sniffled and sneezed then relaxed again with a happy sigh. He felt so good right now.

Icarus looked below them and nodded slightly. "i agree, landing would be a good idea. Just for the night at least."

Collin sighs softly enjoying Icarus's touch. He smiles softly at her and nods. "Landing sounds good." He stares at the ground watching the people on the ground. One person in particular caught his eye, Is that guy wearing a skirt?He though to himself quietly and looked again. Indeed this guy was wearing a skirt. "Peculiar but interesting..." He mumbled quietly. Collin continues to watch as the other people stare at the boy. Poor kid. he thinks as he continues to watch.

Icarus looked beyond the horizon, flapping her wings in time with collin's.

Collin smiles and watches her quietly. She is so pretty, i'm...so lucky.

"It's still morning though.." Blanche said. But then she realized they were probably hungry. Maybe landing was a good idea. "Okay, we'll land." She angled her wings down towards one of the treelined areas. She knew the minute the dogs found them they would be like Ukrainians fighting the Chinese army.

So the nice kids weren't nice anymore. He accidentally said a few words, if that was possible, which they mistook. Apparently 'Woop' was offensive to them.
He ran silently crying while the older boys chased him away from the girls. He hadn't said anything to mean. He pumped his arms scared to turn around and see if they were still chasing him. But the sound of the heavy footsteps then they must have. "W-woooooop!" He cried while turning into an alley. He pressed himself against a brick wall and stared out to see them. The boys must've not seen him change directions because they sped right past the alley he was hiding in. He pushed off of the wall. The brick had something on them that was wet and sticky. It was nasty. He did not want to know what it was at all.
After a few seconds of mental shrieking about sanitation, he exited the alley. At least this time he could keep his mouth closed and search for some new people. Well maybe not, the city people seemed mean. Somewhere with a forest or some water, a pond probably, would be good for him. He set out walking searching for either of the two.
