"I-i j-just d-don't," Henrietta said. There wasn't a huge, interesting story to tell. She didn't have some huge reason. She felt uncomfortable when in the spotlight, or anyone. Even now, she felt embarrassed for admitting it. Her cheeks burned lightly, her face tinging red.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Eunmi said, hesitant on what to do next. Henrietta clearly didn't want attention on herself.
"I know," Eunmi said, standing up straight. She figured if she put more attention on herself, Henrietta might feel better. "I can help you!
"I love crowds. And parties. Social gatherings. Dancing...drinking," Eunmi paused, smiling to herself as she reminisced for a moment. "But they're nothing you need to be scared of. You just have to get accustomed to them. Warm up to them."

"W-w-warm up to them?" Henrietta said. Granted, she'd never tried, but still.

"Yeah. Seems like what you need is a friend," Eunmi said. "A buddy, or whatever."
Eunmi never had trouble making friends. Though, that said, she didn't think she ever really had any close friends.

Henrietta recalled before. When she was with Wayne and Salieri. Both people she'd battled. It wasn't specifically the conversations that relaxed her then. It was the Pokemon battles. Everyone was focused on their Pokemon. It made it easier, simpler.
Could she call those people friends? Buddies?
No, she was probably just another trainer to them. She didn't know Salieri, and while Wayne was cute, she didn't know him either. And likewise, they didn't know her.
Which brought her back to now. Did she need a friend, a buddy?
"D-do you think so?" she asked.

"Yeah! It helps you learn to be more comfortable. With yourself and others. That's what friends are for," Eunmi smiled.
"Pokemon, I guess, can be like that, but the problem with them is that they understand you but can't talk back to you," she said.
"For example," she pointed to D-Vee, "I just found out through that guy with the green hair that my Smeargle would prefer to be called 'D-Vee' instead of 'Da Vinci'. I bet that made him really mad, but I didn't know 'cause we couldn't communicate effectively. I still like him a lot and trust him even though he never helps me, but I think sometimes we just don't see on the same page.
"You can't just be friends with a Pokemon. Otherwise you'll just stay the way you are and always feel uncomfortable around large crowds. Or people like me getting all up in your space. Which I'm sorry for, by the way," Eunmi said, scratching her head.

((Eunmi: You'll become N.
N: I take offense to that.))
Friends with Pokemon... It was nice to say, but if you looked beneath the surface?
What was the relationship?
Analyze later.
Henrietta put the thought aside and shook her head.
If one looked things over, being friends with someone that could potentially black hole away all of the attention you might receive would be nice. On top of that, it would mean they were just friends, right? It wasn't like Henrietta had to worry about Eunmi being around her all the time.
Or so went Henrietta's understanding of friendships between trainers.
That left two problems. First, she didn't know a thing about Eunmi, nor had Henrietta ever had a friend. How did you know when you were friends with someone, and how much should you know about them before being comfortable calling them a friend?
Second, Henrietta didn't have a means of being contacted. At all.
Instead of addressing any of this and ending up more embarrassed by being called lame or something Henrietta said, "h-hum. T-true.."

((More like Artemis.))
Eunmi placed her hands on her hips and gave Henrietta a good look up and down. The girl was timid - that was obvious - but even by the way she dressed, Eunmi could see that the girl lacked confidence in herself.
"You need a confidence boost," Eunmi decided. "You'll get taken advantage of otherwise."

She had a shinai for that. She'd used it, too. Against the guy that had followed her. He'd been more direct, and less angry, though. What would she do if it was someone more angry, more.... intimidating?
Henrietta decided Eunmi was right. But then came the question.
"H-how?"

The Purrloin had been finally was cleared of the paralysis after swiping some medicine from the pokemon center through a open window. It would give a small shake and stretch as it would look around seeing people still out and about through the city, her mind still replaying that little incident with the trainer and the Litwick she did want a little pay back but even she knew at the level she was there was no way she was going to have much of a fighting chance against her at that pokemon.
So the purrloin would head back towards the Dreamyard where she was originally caught thinking this would be the best spot to do some training with her abilities and attacks. Since she hadn't seen anyone pokemon or trainers yet she simply starts to attack a nearby tree slashing at the trunk with her claws moving around the tree a bit hammering away at it with her claws. She would continue these movements moving from different sides of the tree while slashing at it with her claws.

(( I really have no excuse for being this late...other than my laptop is nothing but a cheap, useless, paper-weight now and my uncle took my house computer to fix it and returned it a day or so ago, and it's mind-numbingly slow now for whatever reason.
Anywho...I'm gonna take a back seat in the RP for awhile. Or at least until the time skip to the next day.))
"Pha-!"
*beep beep beep* *beep beep beep*
The white xtranceiver that adorned Avan's wrist, covered by the long sleeve, suddenly went off. It startled him in the sense that he hadn't expected anyone to know the number. It was more of a passive thought that he should hurry to answer it, but it could have been important.
Retreiving a Pokeball from his bag, he returned Kali in the midst of the opponent's attack. "Well this has gone on long enough." The boy stated with a flick of his bangs, effectively removing them from his eye. "Great battle Rob. The win is yours." Avan stated half-heartedly, barely even paying attention to the large youth across the battle field as he pulled back his sleeve to see a '1 MISSED CALL' message on the screen of the piece of technology.
He stuffed Kali's ball back into his bag and began to fiddle with the electronic on his wrist as he walked away back towards town.
***
"Arg!" As he pressed random buttons on the xtranceiver, the frustration of his incredible ability to be completely inept with technology set in. "This thing just refuses to work!"
Then there was a beep. A loud one. The kind where you stop what you are doing because something might have gone wrong. But the small screen proved that wrong. The word 'WAITING' flashed on screen followed by a rotating pokeball. Then a sound like someone answered a phone. A woman appeared; a very familiar one.
"Avan? That you? I'm glad you called back." The woman spoke. The boy looked at the screen in disbelief.
"...Mom?"
((Until next time, see ya!))

And so Bacon found himself stumbling, trying to carry nothing with him. Technically, he had been trying to carry three pounds before, but he held nothing now, all that pushing in case an opponent tried to brace itself going into one large stumble, trip, and fall. But the pig pokemon looked up, heard the news, and despite the win, only felt a pang of anger. A blow to his pride, that the battle had died out before a sure win.
Robby, however, didn't care one way or another. They'd pushed the opponent to forfeit, or something like that. Way he saw it, they'd pretty much won, anyways. Or were close enough to it. He returned Bacon as well, and gave a nod in response to Avan. Then began on his merry way to the pokemon center to get his pokemon healed up right quick.

[Location: Park next to Straiton City]
"hu...huh? whas goin on?" the silver haired trainer mumbled as his pokemon nudged him from his nap. looking down he sees his pokemon surround him. "whats wrong?" he asks as they begin to speak.
[we were worried about you, sleeping during the day isn't like you!]
leaning his head to the side Tk begins looking at Spike, the one talking, "really, cant you say anything but your name?" he asks getting a small giggle out of Lancer and Iron Hide. "right then, lets take a look around town, and what not" he says standing up, brushing the dirt from his shorts. He then returns all three of his pokemon back to there balls.
'Now then, were too?' he thinks to himself as he sets off towards the dream yard.

Robby walked out of the pokemon center, his pokemon healed.
He saw Takamaru and decided he'd have another battle. So he walked up and said, "hey let's battle."
