*walks in through the double doors towards the bar, heading behind the counter to make something nice and cozy to drink. Once she's gotten her fix ready, she takes a seat at the bar and sips her toddy, crossing a leg over her knee while slightly bouncing her foot*

*after a few drinks and playing around with the jukebox, she decides to go for a walk around the strip for some fresh air and maybe some shopping. Rinsing out her cup, she sets it in the sink and gathers her things, heading back out the front double doors*

*Sometime last night, Ryzan managed to get a hold of his phone to check his messages despite Tes' penchant for hiding it from him. He's relieved when he reads the part in Liada's message about Katana having been found, but that feeling is short lived when he gets through the rest of the text.*

*He looks carefully at the image attached and though he does think it looks familiar, he cannot specifically recall what it could be. Sighing, he realizes that he's going to have to show it to Tes since he's more expert on knives and daggers, which means revealing that he found his phone. crying It's a rather unfortunate thing, but Katana's well being takes precedence over access to his iphone. He just hopes that a matter of pressing concerns doesn't arise after it is hidden again.*
Quortek... sweatdrop *Tes groans in acknowledgement, but doesn't leave his seat in front of the computer, figuring Ryzan will come to him.**shuffles over to his husband, reluctantly holding out the iphone to him*
Liada messaged me wondering if either of us perhaps knew what this was.
*shows him the picture**glances at it a moment, then goes back to his computer screen*
Looks kind of like one of mine... only worse for wear.

He takes Ryzan's iphone away and looks at the picture again, then clears off a spot on the desk to place the phone down and his dagger along with it for a side by side comparison. The sheath and hilt look completely identical, but when he takes the blade out, it's a smooth, dark obsidian, practically unscathed.*

It's utterly useless in combat, but it sure makes a fun gag.Liada believes it is because of this dagger... Seems what you have there is a Dirk of the Traitor. Not exactly the best of dagger-class weapons. It has this little effect on it that has come to be known as "Roderick's Gift", named after the treacherous coldain who formerly wielded it. Others call the same effect "whirl 'til you hurl". Basically, if you actually try to use it for anything, the wielder gets put into a state of complete confusion and distrust. It's often accompanied by nausea and vertigo, hence the "whirl 'til you hurl" colloquialism. I usually just lend mine out as a letter opener to prank someone who doesn't know any better. It wears off pretty quickly in most cases as long as the idiot doesn't keep trying to use it.

"Hush Word" ninja … THANKSGIVING (11/21 - 11/27)
All community service tasks must be posted in MW and completed in 2 WEEKS from when you were caught. If you are unable to complete your RN service within the time frame, you will be put onto our WALL OF SHAME and subjected to ridicule or humiliation. If you would prefer the "EASY WAY OUT" of your service, you could always bribe Psyzapp with 10,000 gold to get out of your predicament.
