Well, considering I looked at the article before posting it, I think if it had false information I wouldn't have used it. Also, you can tell if it's false information most of the time, going by the usual falsehoods.
Like I said though, they might change the format. On Scholarpedia, a change must be approved before it is visible as such.

I think it has to do with the fact that I was quoting a user who had a censor in place? Maybe? ... No, that wouldn't make a difference.

I think if you quote someone with a censor, it will just copy the censor as *'s.
