after a moment the pain faded away and everything seemed to return to normal except that the air had become more foggy with small cloud like whisps of smoke floating around, there was also an arc of electricity every few seconds that branched out a few inches before fading. "this is nerual stasis field. it may not look like it but our physical movement and sensory systems are all working at almost ten times the normal speed, to us it seems like normal but to anyone who might be watching we are actually going incredibly fast. here try it out for a while" Shrukan smirked and went back to chatting with gosli about how far the research was going.

jumpy was the first to it, actually check her real-time use on her helmets HUD, and it showed that seconds were dragging by slow enough to allow the milliseconds time to look like they were there just to be small tiny numbers. She shook her head and looked around her, then at the door, and back to the people around her. She looked over at Shrukan. "How the hell do we try it out? can we move around with us?"

(the effect works on the body not actual time so clocks wouldn't actually be effected)
shrukan smirked "well thats really just for demonstrative purposes I'm just trying to kill time" he waited for what seemed like ten minutes then turned the field off this time without the painful sensation. he walked out and grabbed the watch and showed it to them revealing that only 15 seconds had gone by since they entered the room "see? imagine the implications this could have. entire cities built in a matter of days, injuries being operated on and fully healed in a matter of seconds......weapons developed over the course of a ship ride...." the last one in particular made him smile, one thing that was hard to do. "pfft....that's the problem with such mentally depraved life forms. every little thing is soooooooo marvelous"

"Last I checked you are not to large yourself Gosli." Sen was the only one that laughed at that joke. "So I'm guessing your plan is to use a much larger version of this device to help rebuild Reach?"

"hmmmm? rebuild reach? oh yeah sure I guess. right now we're using the technology to work on the anti matter and sense we can't manipulate the device while its running it will be some time after that until it could work on such a scale." gosli butted in "we could have worked on the neural stasis field on my OTHER ship but you kinda embeded it with bombs and blew it up"

"Not my Fault!!" Displeasures voice shuffled on the last song. "Sorry Jumpy, it's hard to keep a voice up after a flux feild..." She shrugged and leaned against the wall, looking at her clocks timer, it was still going, back to normal.
((She connected her clock to the ships clock, that's why it effected hers, because the ship was still going like normal, so it sent the information at the same speed, meaning her clock doesn't even show up whenever she's away from whichever ship she's on, it's how she copes with long, boring missions.))

"all right show and tells over now. go on about your business we have import work to do" gosli levitated marcus, slippy, and the chief and unceremoniously tossed them out the door before closing it and sealing it shut. Shrukan merely shrugged off gosli's rude display and they both went back to work.

Not liking being quite rudely thrown out as such, She sent a PING that knocked Gosli out of the sky for a second before shutting down her armor so he couldn't do beans back to her, and carried it with her as she went to find a place to take a small "cat-nap"

within seconds gosli had sent a squadron of sentinels to circle around her, all with their beams locked onto her and ready to fire if she tried anything again.

Jumpy looked at the Sentinals, and they dropped from the sky and broke to peices on the ground. How she'd managed this feat, she would never tell, but she wanted Gosli to know those little toys were nothing to her, and she went invisible and found a new place to nap, one where the smell of melting metal couldn't be found.

((You mean HOW did she do that? Simple, she used her armor as a small EMP, because Displeasure was still in it, she is what caused it, and it fryed the inner circuts of the Sentinals, which, because their lazors were primed to charged, also caused them to melt.))

(yeah thats got bs writen all over it, an emp would have knocked out your armor and destoryed dissplesure atleast would have kicked her from your armor)
