My sixteenth birthday was simple, yet very lively, thanks to my family, Ven and Sora were the life of our gathering. Our family tradition is once turning sixteen, we go journey beyond the village. It's like a ritual that symbolizes we are old enough to choose our path in life and ready to discover the rest of the world. I was always curious about humans. There have been many stories about them, and there are really odd objects we sometimes find that once belonged to them. So I decided, that for my sixteenth birthday, I'd visit the surface world and see if I could see them from afar.

I'd have no clue what that would feel like... Other than, a dream?

But since I do have legs now... It's really really strange. I could feel the contact of the earth, and even more strangely, I feel quite heavy. It's different, and you have to get used to it, but it's interesting as well. smile
