and fawned over it for several minutes whilst in the company of friends

Who allows themselves to get punched in the face? Pus, Genjutsu is God-modding. Almost nothing you can do to stop it. Especially the one where someone simply points at you.
We have to place the requested custom jutsu in the right forum then does it count to the over all limitations of the class?

Post what you want to get approved in the thread in the approval area.
If it does get approved, go post it up in the thread in the jutsu list.
There should be links going back and forth within the first post of said threads...
And... if that just confused you worse-
No... custom jutsu don't count towards class restrictions.

Yeah, what Misu said.
But if you teach a custom jutsu to someone, it will count against their class limitation.
As, rather than being a jutsu they came up with, it is a ninjutsu, taijutsu, or whateverjutsu that someone taught them.
