Ronmaru, having followed them the whole time, stood next to gage, who may or may not have noticed him there. He asked cherrymon a question that no one was sure to ask.
"Ummm, am i supposed to be here too? I'm hoping to start traveling with these two, and I didn't know if I was supposed to come or not...."
Ronmaru and falcomon shrugged their shoulders, having no clue of what's going on.

Cherrimon stood unmoving while its leaves danced about I the gentle breeze. “We’ve have arrived... to the place... where we need to be...” it answered to the Patamon’s question. The tree digimon turned its trunk in order to look at the small digimon, “That monster is not welcome among my children!” its voice echoed as its branch like arm pointed to the egg Patamon was pushing along.
Gage bent down next to the Patamon and started to stroke its head, he didn’t want the sensitive creature to start getting upset, “Why don’t I just hand onto it then...” he removed a blanket from his Bag and wrapped the egg in it. He placed Piedmon’s egg into this bag, “Just tell me when you want it back, ok?” he said to the patamon.
“The Sovereign’s have rules over this world for countless eons,” the Cherrimon began its speech, “actually I could count them but in the interest of time, I think we had better just get to the point!” Veemon smacked himself in the face. “The Sovereigns are the Guardians of Order in this world, where the Demon Lords preserve Chaos. Both Elements are necessary for the Digital World to maintain its stability, but recently a great disturbance as taken place. Three Sovereigns have died, as have many of the agents of Chaos, the followers of Lucemon. The Balance of power in the digital world remains in continuous flux. But you two,” he points to Gage and Jonny, “Have managed to preserve enough of the Sovereign’s that they might be Reborn once again.”
“We digimon have one great and precious gift, rebirth! While we do die, and in death we loose what we gain from one life to the next, we go on, ever renewed. However our gift is often taken for granted, there are forces that can delete our data forever.”
There was a ridiculously long pause. “As stated, I give this choice to you, if you will allow, I can extract the Data from these digimon,” he pointed to Monodramon, and the Patamon sitting on Gage’s shoulder. “And give the Fallen, new life!”
The tree turned toward Ronmaru, “You do not possess the heart of an innocent... you are not welcome in my Town!”

Patamon looked at the tree digimon, eyes shimmering for several short seconds, he stared up at Gages backpack and then smiled weakly
"Okay, Piedmon agrees, thank you Gage"
He then looked up at the other Patamon, all of this was really cool, he wished Kaya had been here so that she could see it..
He could almost feel her presence liked he used to when she was alive...
almost...
wait... he could!
How in the name of!!
The Patamon gasped but shut his mouth right away, he was not allowed to disturb the adults when they were talking, and this seemed really important. The small digimon leaned against Gages leg with a smile, repeating his tamers name cheerfully over and over again in his head

Ronmaru and falcomon walked back, and left the town, knowing why cherrymon said it....

Jon watched all of this with an arched eyebrow. 'Although he may not be a bad guy, he doesn't exactly have the best of manners,' he thought, before shaking his head.
"So, what you're saying is that the Sovereigns can't be reborn without the data located in our digimon?"
He looked down to see the second Patamon, Kaya's Patamon, almost dancing in place. 'Wonder what would make him so happy, especially after a giant rude tree just dissed his friend.'

Patamon blinked up at the tree, part of him listening to the adults, part of him listening to Piedmon humming to himself.
He really liked Piedmon even though Piedmon thought it was funny to hurt others, Patamon was used to that, Metamormon often did that.
The voice of Piedmon humming and singing inside of his head was almost assuring, Piedmon felt Kaya to that was why he was happy (though the clown digimon seemed to be cheerful 24/7 no matter the circumstances),
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring
He went to bed and bumped his head
And didn't wake up in the morning
Before long Patamon started humming along quietly, rocking back and forth to the melody.

Gage looked down at the patamon, he couldn’t figure out why it seemed so happy, but he would have to wonder about that some other time He directed his attention to the tree digimon again. “And you claim this process of extracting the Data will not harm our digimon in anyway?”
The tree nodded, as much as a tree could nod anyway... “The Guardians of the Core shall not be harmed, however, I ask only one thing in exchange for my aid...”
Veemon grabbed his left bicep and started stamping up toward Cherrimon, “Hey there driftwood, you better not be tryin’ ta scam the Doc or I’m going to knock the knots outta ya!” Gage grabbed the Veemon by the scruff of the neck and turned it around so that it started walking in the opposite direction.
Gage sighed, “I believe I know what price you ask Sir, Lord Azulongmon has already made this request of me, and I do accept.”
“You react without hesitation, very good...” the tree press a twig like finger to both Patamon’s and Veemon’s heads. Patamon closed its eyes while the Veemon started swatting at the plant trying to get it off, Cherrymon was forced to press the digimon until it was lying face down on the ground kicking and swinging trying to get up. Gage only pinched the bridge of his nose with shi fingers out of frustration for his over active partner.
After several moments the digimon began to glow, Cherrymon removed its fingers form the digimon, as it did long strands of fractal code where pulled from the digimon. Each one part of Azulongmon’s power. Cherrymon connected the strands together, then turning he reached into a field of Digi-eggs and selected a candidate, “This poor soul shall one day be charged with maintaining this worlds balance, I thank you child for your sacrifice.” Cherrymon placed the Fractal code on the egg, it began to glow and alter its shape. Once the light passed the egg had a dark blue shell, with yellow Lightning bolt designs scattered randomly across its surface. Two chains were wrapped around the shell crossing over each other in an X shape. “I shall care for this one personally until the day it is ready to take its rightful place.” Cherrymon placed the egg into a nest high in its branches so it was hidden from view.
Cherrymon turned toward Jonny awaiting his answer. Gage spoke up, “Lord Cherrymon is asking that we take up the responsibility of the Sovereigns until they new ones hatch, it will become our responsibility to maintain the Order of the Digital world in their place...”

"WOOW!"
Patamon immediately shut up right after saying it.. but it WAS cool!
The child looked up at Gage with wide blue orbs as if the boy had just grown wings and become some celestial knight.
Patamon could feel Piedmon roll his eyes and giggled at the older digimon trapped within the digiegg.

Waking up to a familiar voice, Zin was surprised to see Kaneharo and Germano rushing up to him. " Oh hey guys." He said sitting up. "Whats up?"
Demidevimon being tossed off of the bench when Zin sat up got up angrily. "What the heck was that for!?" He said as he floated back onto the bench. He didn't realize who was in front of him.
"Demidevimon.....look in front of you" Zin said with a sigh.

Jonny's eyes never left the tree's face. His eyes became determined, set. His lips tightened until they were little more than a line cut into his face. He knew what the tree wanted without a description from Gage. After all, he had also heard the words of the Sovereign, although he was sure that Gage hadn't been called 'worthless scum' as much from HIS. But, he had agreed in order to use the digimon's power to destroy MaloMyotismon.
"I can't say I like this idea much. But, it's not like I'm doing anything really serious at the moment. And, I agreed in order to use Zhuqhumon's, or whatever's, strength on that giant monster back there. So, I guess that means my answer is yes. We accept."
Monodramon gave one large nod of its head, and then stood ready. Cherrimon repeated the process he had just performed on Patamon and Veemon, peeling off a strand of data from the small dragon's forehead. Selecting an egg from the vast ocean of digitamas, Cherrimon inserted the digimon Sovereign's data into it.
Much like the first, it began to change shape. This one's shell took on a coloration that resembled a dancing flame, and four wings sprouted from the sides. Cherrimon also placed this digitama in its branches, out of sight of potential poachers.
"Then the deed is done. You have fulfilled your purpose in this place, and I bid you farewell. The two of you have lost your innocence, and have no business here. Be gone!"
With that as a parting word, Cherrimon turned around, and stalked off. Apparently where he was going, and what he was doing was not for them to know. Jonny turned toward Gage with a dry smile on his face.
"Looks like we're Gods. What shall be our first order of business?"

Patamon, deciding that the adults were finally done nearly started bouncing up and down on the spot
"I wanna go get Kaya, I wanna go get Kaya!!!"
Then, as an afterthought
"Please?"
The smaller digimon stared up at first Johnny and then Gage with big pleading eyes
"Pretty please?" He pointed to Gages backpack whilst pressing himself to the ground looking more than a kicked puppy than anything else, those begging eyes getting bigger and bigger
"...Piedmon wants to go to.."
He said this while looking at both Gage and Alexander, ears moving back and forth, caught somewhere between hoping and fearing rejection

[Sorry for coming in late.]
[Kazuki, Terriermon, BlackPawnChessmon - Enter - From Tropical Jungle ]
Kazuki trips on a branch and falls face flat behind Gage and his friends. He stands up dizzy and brushes himself off all the dust on his clothes. Two of his digimon were behind him and looking around at the others wondering what had been going on. All three had the feint of what things were happening. He decides to go along with them though.

Henry awoke and thought everything from before was some sort of hazy dream, but after seeing Sai when he first woke, he knew it had to be real. He remained in silence as Sai leaned up against the tree, his eyes closed, resting. Picking himself up, he accidentally awoke Nightmare (PawnChessmon B) who was still in her rookie form. Stretching a bit, Henry walked down towards the river and Nightmare ran after him as if she had something to say, something important.
"Henry, can you believe it? Sai's back!" Nightmare cheer happily. Happiness was a disease, it could spread like wildfire, but for some reason, Henry didn't feel happy, most of the time he wasn't happy at all. "Henry...?"
There was an award silence as the wind blew across the water. Crashing it onto shore and diving back down. Henry was just staring into the water, remember all those memories from before. He had it better here, but why didn't he feel happy or satisfied? Henry just stood there, like a statue, letting time rush past time. Letting him stay behind while the others grow.
"HENRY!" Nightmare shouted from besides him. Shaking him violently. Henry got out of his trace like thing, and looked around like something happened. "HENRY! WAKE UP!"
"Whoa?! What?!" Henry burst out of surprise. "Hey Nightmare, when did you get there?" Henry was confused at the moment.
"I was always here..." Nightmare pointed out. You could tell by her voice she was a bit angry at the moment. She took a deep breath and looked at Henry. "Is there something wrong?" She asked him.
"No..." Henry lied to her. He didn't want her in his problems, just brings more difficulties aka problems.
Sai awoke and started for the two, but as he came, everything grew silent. "Did I miss something?"
"No..." Henry answered as he walked past Sai towards the woods. "Come on! We have some more exploring to do! Next stop; The Gear Savanna! We have unfinished business there..."
Sai and Nightmare looked at each other with some sort of worry. Afterwards they ran after Henry into the woods, hoping he doesn't mean what he tried to do a while ago.
