Dhyl sighed."Really?! Gor. Last time I bloody share secrets." he said, a look of annoyance on his face. He glared at his plate a moment before looking back up Katrina had magically (no pun intended) shown up "Hullo Katrina." he replied dully. He sighed again, and looked at the girls again.

Heather waved at the two girls, smiling awkwardly at both of them. "Hi Ari. Hi Kat." she said. She saw the way Ariana was looking at Katrina, and a lightbulb lit up in her head. I see it there too... Small yet, but still bright... she thought. For some odd reason, she had gotten very good at reading people lately.

Ariana looked back over at Dhylan as he beat himself up for telling the girl his secret. "I cannot believe you're deaf! Did the nurse not heal you?" she asked, bewildered at the thought of magic not healing this incident. Was it possible that magic could not heal an eleven year old boy's hearing if he wasn't born without it? Sometimes, the wizarding world confused Ariana.

The years had flown by it seemed to her that she had been sorted into Hufflepuff. Unlike a lot people shorted into this particular house, Nicole wasn't too shocked. Perhaps she was more shocked that Kevin had also been placed in here as well. A smile played across the 7th year as she took her seat at the table. She had many fond memories and a few not so fond ones of her years at hogwarts. It was almost hard to believe that she would be out in the real world soon. She wondered if she would be able to get into Saint Mangos since she personally didn't feel she did well in her NEWTs. "hello you guys." she said as she took a seat.

Kevin took a seat shortly after his twin had. He still wasn't quite crowd person but it was definately better then it had been in his first year. The years had unfolded fast, but he could remember them almost like he could the stories he spent his time reading between classes. The male had found some of his classes good but others were poor but perhaps that was what everyone felt. He turned his attention to his younger sister. "so Ruby did you have a good first year?" he said looking at her above the book he had brought with him

Inari stood and rose forward to the podium. Looking over the hall she smiled, this year was a new challenge for her that she accepted with pride and honor. She'd been appointed at the stand in headmistress and was proud to take the position. Though she'd greatly miss her classroom and her house, this was the next chapter in her life and she couldn't wait. Raising her hands she waited for the students and staff alike to quiet down. "Thank you. I'm sad to say the year is ending once again but glad you have all grown so much in this last year and some of you are leaving us to go out and make your journey in the world. I'm proud of you all and happy to see the example set by our older students and hope you will all continue to do well through the coming years. I'd like to congratulate the house of Gryffindor for your win on the quidditch cup! Now on to the house cup. I'm proud to say this year the winner of the house cup is Slytherin! I wish you all a safe trip home and will see you next year. Now lets eat!"She raised her wand and the banners in the hall all turned green and silver as food appeared on all the tables. Smiling she took her seat and made a plate for herself.

She leaned her head on Ariana until the food appeared. Knowing what lie before her this summer, Kat piled food on her plate. She smiled at her friends at the talk about Quidditch. "I'm probably not going to play again next year. I think one season is enough. I did horrible as it were," she said and stuffed food into her face.

Dhyl nodded slowly at Ariana. "They tried, but too much damage had been done. Daddy is going to take me to a special ear doctor." he said. He looked astonished when Katrina said she wouldn't be trying out. "Kat, we need you. You did really good! You need some practice, but other than that, you're gold!" he said with an encouraging smile.

Ariana sat quietly throughout Professor Evernight's lecture, as did the Ravenclaw table. Cheers erupted from the Gryffindor and Slytherin tables as they won two different Hogwarts cups. When food appeared on the table in front of her, Ariana looked up at her friends, still smiling. "We'll get 'em next year," she said before piling a small amount of food onto her plate. She played with her food a bit before looking up shockingly at Katrina. "You aren't going to play next year? Come on, Kat. You have to!" she begged. "Please?" she asked, letting her "baby voice" slip out. Admittedly, Katrina Varren was not the best quidditch player out there, but that did not mean it wasn't fun having her on the Hufflepuff team. Whenever Ariana felt hopeless while trying to find the snitch, she would look over at her best friend and that would give her the motivation to keep trying. Ariana turned her head back towards Dhylan with a slight frown. Poor kid. First year here and he's already damaged beyond repair. The second year hoped he wasn't damaged "beyond repair" and that the next time they saw each other, he would have perfect hearing again.

Dhyl sighed. He hoped the "specialist" could actually do something. He hated only having one ear, and it showed. He yawned hugely, then blinked rapidly. He knew he would have to be awake early, he'd barely packed! He looked at the girls, having a sort of quiet moment.

Heather simply watched as Gryffindor and Slytherin cheered. She knew Hufflepuff wouldn't win this year. She just had one of those feelings. Quidditch was difficult this term as well. Oh well. There's always next year, right? Nerves had gotten the best of her as she stared at her empty plate. She didn't dare eat, for fear of vomiting, but she also didn't want her blood sugar to get too low. If it did, she would be out cold. Gingerly, she took a colorful cupcake and began to munch away at it slowly.

Dhyl looked over at Heather. She was eating a single cupcake. He rolled his eyes and began placing all sorts of healthy foods on her plate. He placed it back in front of the girl. "Eat. Eat real food, Heather." he said, his voice a stern, sort of paternal tone. He placed the same healthy foods on his own plate, and began to eat, keeping an eye on the now third year, to make sure she ate the food.

Heather ate her cupcake and looked over to see Dhyl putting a bunch of food on her plate. She opened her mouth to object, but his tone sounded sharp, yet caring. She sighed, and looked at the huge pile of food in front of her. "Dhylan... I don't feel like eating... Fine. I'll eat." she said, finally deciding not to argue with the future second year. She picked up her fork and poked at the substance on her plate. Broccoli and carrots, along with grilled chicken. Healthy foods for an athlete, he would say if she refused. She took several bites, chewing slowly, but still eating.

Ariana looked at Heather's plate as she only grabbed a cupcake, then she watched as Dhylan filled it up with vegetables and meat. "Not hungry?" she asked although she knew this probably wasn't the case. Several students in the room seemed to not be incredibly hungry. Ariana assumed it was because they were sad this was their last feast of the year.

Dhyl smiled contentedly. He would miss these girls, if only because he hadn't made any male friends! He munched at his own dinner, the healthy meal fit for a athlete! That, and he'd never been one to eat unhealthily. He was scrawny, as his dad would say, but he was built nicely with thin, but strong, muscles. He took tiny bites, something he always did, but ate them quickly.
