XXXXXThe former hokage appeared at the gates. Sprinting down the path to the village, he didn't want to leave the village for as long as he had. The Hokage flashed hand seals as he reached the gate lifting into the air allowing freer movement throughout the village as he dashed through the air toward the academy, where the threat had been detected by his sensory corps. Ryouichi approached the gates at a quick speed. The closer he got to the village the faster he seemed to get. For some reason he had a gut wrenching feeling and he knew that he had to get quick to his location quickly. He looked back slightly to see that Ibuse and Nanaki were right on his tail and that the women and Daichi were following him. He slowed down a bit and realized that he may have been going to fast for the other women that was supposed to follow them. However, this wouldn't stop him from continuing on.

Nova growled as she and Kaori followed the Konoha-nin in the mask that had volunteered to lead the 'tamer' group through Konohagakure. He had deliberately slowed down like they were holding him back, like they were genin, and neither tiger nor tamer appreciated that. They had worked hard to become Chunin, and had worked harder after that promotion to gain skill to be better soldiers on the battle field. It was an insult that he seemed to think they couldn't keep up. Both Kaori and Nova were build for long running, for speed and endurance. And then to add insult to injury he kept ignoring Nova like she was just some brainless pet. As soon as this was all done and over with they both planned on giving this man a piece of their minds. They'd work with him with a grin and without prejudice in the mean time. Kaori looked over at Ayame as they ran, "Can I let Nova play with him? He's constantly been ignoring her like she's just a brainless cat." She grumbled, "After this is all settled of course." When he disappeared once more Kaori followed.

Bastion followed shortly behind Bast, he would never lose sight of her, but she was rather fast. That probably comes with experience though, which was something Bastion lacked. As he walked up behind Bast who was now talking with one of the local genin he just followed along the two, only realizing after a moment that he needed to give Bast something. "Oh Bast, here take some of these." He said unbuttoning one of the layers on his satchel and took out a small bag full of flower petals and he held it out to her. "Should you need any form of combat assistance I can give you what I can if you throw these around you."
