Taiki neeed to become a bit more powerful if he was gonna show up the loud-mouth. Reading through a doton scroll he got from the librarian, He began to follow the instructions for the Doton:Bunshin. After performing the necessary seals, and separating his chakra, he managed the technique on his first try. High-fiving the dirt clone, he released it, causing it to poof into a dirt statue, before collapsing on the ground.

Description: This jutsu creates one single clone out of the ground. Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. Two hits will destroy the bunshin.



Continuing on down the scroll, Taizo looked upon the military movement jutsu. Thinking that it would be a very handy skill, he began with the first step, of covering his body in a veil of earth altering chakra. Feeling the pulsating energy force the ground to be malleable, and allow him to slip into it. Smiling happily, he rose out of the floor, and rolled out more of the scroll to learn.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited time.



"Another good one!", Taizo thought as he came across the mud moat technique. This jutsu would allow him to slow his opponents down in case he found himself overwhelmed, and in need of time to think. Sealing the necessary symbols with the enhanced speed of a ninjutsu specialist, he made the proper preparations, and slammed his hands on the ground. The floor around him turned to a thick mud, that would be completely unable to stand upon as the chakra nature of the moat wouldn't allow the water walking technique.

Doton: Gou no Doro (Earth Release: Mud Moat)

Description: This jutsu converts the area immediately surrounding the performer of it into a a deep murky moat full of mud. The moat is at least 6 ft deep and four feet in radius (6 feet radius for Genin, 8 feet for Chuunin, 10 feet for Jounin, 15 feet for Sannin). Due to the nature of the moat, water walking can not be performed on it. Only an area of 1½ feet in diameter remains of solid, dry land for the user to stand on.



Finally getting to the end of the lower level jutsu he wished to learn, he found the swift earth technique. Doton was going to be a swift escape style for him, or so it was shaping up to be. Sealing once more, he beckoned earth chakra to his finger tips, as he put them to the floor, causing the mud that he was standing on, to begin to shift. Speeding him backwards, as if on some sort of conveyer belt, Tai knew that this technique would be perfect for last second escapes.

Description: When performing this jutsu the shinobi places his/her hands on the ground and causes it to move rapidly away as if it were a conveyor belt. As the shinobi increases in skill and rank the size, speed, and range of this jutsu all increase.



Finally reaching the scroll that contained genin level techniques, which he was anxious to learn. reading over the first one, he found himself very interested in the technique, as defense was something he viewed earth as perfect for. Scanning over the scroll, he grasped the basic concept of what was necessary for the technique to work. Attempting it wouldn't be that hard of a task, if he could use the military movement technique, than this would just be seen as a more advanced version.

Sealing away, with swift precision, The genin prepared for his jutsu. "Doton, Dorok Gaeshi!", He spouted, as he threw his palms on the earth. They slid into the earth, as they had before, but only up to the Genins wrists. As he stopped, he lurched backwards with a powerful tug and yanked the earth up with him, creating a large rock shield. Protected from oncoming attacks, Taizo sat behind his wall, happy of his swift improvements.

Description: In the jutsu, the user lifts up a giant piece of earth and uses it as a shield. For every rank, the shield grows 5 feet by 5 feet, and thickens by 3 inches.


Sealing for his Doton bunshin technique, Tai Seperated out a portion of his energy, and after saying the words, forced it to seperate from his body completey. With a poof of white smoke, and the sound of chakra expanding, Taizo had created a clone of himself. Yelling for it to run from him the copy dashed away, towards the door,and out into the hall. Grinning eagerly, Tai turned to his companions and lifted a single finger, as if to say, "One moment please." as he dashed after.

Sealing away, Taizo shouted out, "Doton, Shinjuu Zanshu no jutsu!", and began sinking into the floor. Traveling after his clone, Tai's head poked out from under the ground like some sort of shark fin as he swiftly closed the gap between himself, and his forgery. Dipping entirely underground, Tai disappeared. The clone, unaware of where he had gone off to, stopped running and looked around. A split secnd later, a hand burst through the floor and gripped the cloned pant leg tightly, accompanied by a fierce tug, and the poor victim was pulled under. Head poking out like some sand trapped child, the clone frowned as the real Taizo emerged from the floorboard, to return to his team.
"Sorry about that. I need a bit of a workout, but i'm ready to start whenever."
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Description:Doton • Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized.


Taking a shuriken out of his pocket, Taizo spun it around his finger. After a quick second of thinking, He slung the shuriken outwards, aiming at a wooden dummy across the room. As the star flew, Tai began sealing, and whispered, "Yadama Furooseigyo:. The shuriken that was flying straight at its target with terribly accuracy, quickly snapped to the side, tearing off and piercing a completely separate dummy.

Description: A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control. With the ability to control air currents the user can utilize them to their advantage when throwing projectiles such as kunai or shuriken, using the wind to aid the speed and trajectory of their weapon. Someone with a 5 in control would only be able to give it a slight boost in power, while someone with a control of 40 could make them fly twice as fast.

Having already spotted the two familiar males in the dojo, Suzume had decided against speaking up. One since it seemed Sypher was busy speaking with Kein and two being that her two new "teammates" might get into a fight. Cloud had been watching as well although he was more interested in checking out his surroundings.

When Sypher approached, she smiled softly at the comment "I suppose I am. Although I'd of liked a team where the other members had more sense." She did not have much of an opinion on Tai just yet but Tenrai clearly needed some work on his personality. At least in Suzume's opinion.

Seeing a new male next to his owner, Cloud waddled over and sniffed the air around Sypher. Deciding he was good, the puppy began to pant softly before jumping slightly and greeting the male "Arf, arf!"

"And this is my new combat puppy Cloud. I got him earlier in Takumi."

Sypher nodded slightly and glanced down at the dog before scooping it up "Cute. Love the name." he smiled at the dog and then set it back down "Well the best thing about having boys with no brains is that you can show them how to be smarter." he teased before leaning back against the wall and sitting "Are you guys doing missions? Or just fooling around?" he didn't seem to be all that interested in their team and was tapping one foot on the floor.

When he was picked up by Sypher, Cloud of course started squirming in the male's grasp. Not in a way that he wanted to get down or was scared, he was just an energetic puppy. While in Sypher's arms, he tried licking the male's face and tried pawing at the male's face. What had him curious though was the patch over the other's eye... his owner didn't wear a patch, why was this guy?

When he was set back down, Cloud spun once in a circle, tail wagging as he looked up to Sypher.

"Thanks, I thought it was a good name." replied Suzume, crouching down and calling Cloud over to her. The male bounded over and she started playing with the puppy. Mainly just a bit of rough housing but nothing that would hurt the male or anything. "I guess that is an advantage. Although the downside is that it'll take the boys longer to learn. And me and Tenrai have done a couple missions already. Small D-Rank ones... forming a squad is actually another mission we're doing."

Setting his hand in his chin, Sypher watched the puppy, smiling "Boys just take patience. Though one of them has a serious ego from what I just saw." he chuckled "I'm sorry. I just hope you get a good teacher. I've got one student already and I need two more but you guys seem to have a squad going on." he shrugged, serious about being sorry. It would have been nice having Suzume in his squad but it appeared that wouldn't be happening.

Doki looked up to him, still pondering on who his predecessor or sensei would be. Those thoughts were pushed aside for later as she now raised her head to take from the current situation. "Well, I can sweep the floor with close quarter combats. I can be a little impulsive at times but it helps my reaction time. I think that's all up for grabs. Ah..weaknesses." For someone highly opinionated of herself, Doki found this hard to mention. Even harder when another elite shinobi decided to come along. Closely examining his appearance, Doki rememberd him as the same man back at the Raikage's office. With her hands now crumpling up the wrapper, she threw it into the nearest bin and was now addressing to the both of them.

Her curious nature accepted his youth into mind. There were many young shinobi, already at high ranks. The fuel to her fire rekindled, no longer raw with awe. At his words, she rose an arm to an informal salute. "I'm Sypher-san's new successor." The gennin corrected with mild arrogance, however remained aloof. Whether it would annoy anyone else or not, Doki was compelled to say that at the least. To set a high goal and follow it should she want to be high up. Though really, her monotonous tone and expression were opposites.

Apparently she was in la-la land again since her teacher was now talking to another person. From her distance, Doki also noticed the small dog. Instinctively, she took a step back. In her past memory, the brat often tormented small animals and eventually she answered to the chit's mother. Big burly and ugly, Doki was reminded of a few faint scars. Cute, but deadly. The nervous look in her eyes were quickly replaced with excitement. A snarling smirk silently tugged at her lips upon the words of one who did not rely on seals. She heard them talking, and then dissing. Now, they were arguing. Coming from her position of not being capable of performing much seals, she also concluded that it was a waste of time. However, he did not have her sympathy. Even so, a few flashy jutsu's wouldn't hurt. Doki did not have anything good to say in their stead.

"Oh yeah...I..have trouble with ninjutsu, Genjutsu I daren't indulge." She said to Sypher, uncertain whether he would hear it or not since he was in another conversation. "I've never seen anything more manlier in my life." She retorted to herself, placing her thumbs over the belt loops near her waist, narrowing her eyes at the boys in their quibble. They're not even sweating yet. What a disappointment.

"So you're more involved with taijutsu. Possibly bukijutsu." Sypher responded to Doki's answer to his earlier questions, looking over at her. He immediately recognized the reaction she had to Cloud and made sure to position his leg between Doki and the small animal No need to have any issues come up now. he thought and began tapping his chin "I have a few taijutsu or bukijutsu that you could practice with. What do you think? Are you better with your hands or with things in your hands?" he asked, smiling at her "What do you think?"

Smiling softly, Suzume gently rolled Cloud onto his back and started rubbing his tummy. The puppy still squirmed but he was having fun "I suppose... you're definitely right about the one with the ego. That one is Tenrai. As for the whole squad thing, if this doesn't work out then I could transfer to your squad." She had not met the other student but Sypher seemed like he would be a good teacher.

Noticing another person approach, Suzume could guess that this girl knew Sypher. Perhaps this was the one student on his team? Not good with ninjutsu and didn't do genjutsu... so she was more a taijutsu or bukijutsu user? Cloud had been about to bound up to Doki and meet someone new but he was blocked by Sypher's leg. He wanted to climb over the man's leg but Suzume already got the message. "No Cloud. Come back here."

Whining softly, Cloud reluctantly came back over to Suzume. "Hello. I'm Suzume Kinjo. I guess you're a new shinobi?" asked Suzume. A sparring match might of been nice but she had no idea how far along this other girl was with her training.

Curious of his stance, she wondered if it had anything to do with... A few thoughts rolled over her mind as Doki jammed a pinky in one of her ears. But she decided to brush the idea off. Staring at the ceiling with a blank expression, she proceeded in flicking the indiscriminate off of her finger pinky She looked at her hands when he inquired the question for a few seconds. "I'd probably lose what I'm holding." Then, she placed them back into her pants pockets with her shoulders nestled comfortably under her many belts. "I think, I'm more confident with my legs than my hands. If that's any help. Sometimes I'm real clumsy with them, my hands." In all honesty, she already had a specific style to work with in her mind. If anything, she was good at running either away or to. But if it was what the teacher had to suggest, then she should do good and listen. Besides, she should fortify her weaknesses. Sypher would know better.

Her attention shifted to the maiden ninja. "A pleasure, Suzume Kinjo-san. I'm Kodoki Doki, probably the greatest person you'll ever meet." Doki monotonously answered while repeatedly chucking glances at the young shepard with her panda patterned eyes. "Yeah. I graduated a bit late." Sarcastic eyes now apart from the pup, she studied Suzume's appearance. She looks older than I am. Certainly taller. I bet she's more experienced.

The other's appearance was a bit strange but Suzume did not comment on it. It wasn't like there weren't people that looked stranger than this girl. Listening as the other spoke to Sypher, she had to guess that if the other wanted to use her legs to fight then she'd go for the Black Leg style. It would certainly coincidence since that was the taijutsu style that Suzume was learning.

Cloud was busy using his teeth to tug at her right pant leg while she had her attention on Doki. The other sounded like she had a bit of an ego, Doki was bound to get along with Tenrai. Suzume did not seem impressed when Doki introduced herself. "Mm... same for me. Not too recently though, I got my headband a short while ago. So you're more into taijutsu?"

She nodded, nonplussed at her reaction but further intrigued. Odd as it was for her, Doki often had trouble speaking with other females, pressed to the fact that she never really kept count of friends. "Oh. Yes. What about yourself? What style are you training in?" A hand began to scratch behind the fuzzy outline of her head. A habit she's long developed when she felt awkward or nervous. She looked over at the puppy, busy attempting to collect attention from it's owner. "Your dog, erm.. Are you training it as a ninken?" Her pug-eyes looked interested for she read about them before. Even animals could share our profession. Can it..talk?

He leaned over and scooped Cloud up with one hand, rubbing him under the belly and behind the ears "I see. Well...let me run up what I know about Taijutsu and I'll get back to you. If you have any scrolls and techniques that you're interested in and have with you, you can start by yourself." He kept a hold on Cloud as he leaned back, closing his eyes. He kept a list of every known jutsu in his head though not all the techniques were there.

When asked what type of shinobi she was Suzume replied "Bukijutsu, katana." said Suzume, tapping the handle of her sword that rested upon her left hip. "And yeah, he can be trained to be a combat animal. I only got him recently though. He's got basic training but I don't have money for the rest of the books just yet."

When Cloud was picked up by Sypher again, the small puppy wiggled about once more. Although not as much since the red head was rubbing his tummy and behind his ears. "Hnnn..." whined the puppy, although this whine sounded like a happy one since Sypher was giving him attention.

Since her fellow "teammates" weren't really doing anything aside from standing around, Suzume was a bit bored. "If these two guys aren't going to do anything then I might as well train a bit soon. I still have some more techniques to learn."

Sypher opened his eyes and settled up a little more, flipping the puppy on his back to tickle its tummy "I've got three styles in mind. Xinyi Liuhe Quan. Kumogakure no Taijutsu. Kuro Ashi Kata." he told Doki absently. He didn't have the scrolls for any of those techniques on him but he did know where to get them "I'll have to pick them up before we start. Are you willing to learn 3 at a time?" he asked, rubbing Cloud's tummy.

A low whistle came from an impressed Doki from Suzume's gesture to her sword. Her gaze followed her hand to the very handle. She smiled again, in a horrifying effort. "Ah, so should I. Nice meeting you, Suzume Kinjo-san." Her attention drafted back to her Teacher whose presumable turn was to play with the dog. A bead of perspiration rolled down behind her neck. I get it..the dog is cute.

Doki looked alarmed. How could he not sound so serious? No, this was probably nothing coming from the supposed Bird Sage himself. Did he mean it? A distant wave undulated from inside her personal mind. Her eyes trembled while the other party didn't take in the light she had. Even a potato sack like Doki knew it would be a challenge to complete at least one style. Her lips pursed back, wondering if he had to undergo similar conditions as a gennin. Thinking that this would be a step closer to her brighter tomorrow, she nodded thrice through rapid enthusiasm.

With the jerk of her forward right, she then slapped her other arm, raising a frozen, crooked-arm lariat. "Ossu! I can take the heat."
