The end results of a couple of light sourcing tutorials for one of my art apps.

I can't really offer any excuses as to why this is taking so long so I won't make any, but it does bother me a bit on a personal level. As an artist I should be able to do more. In any case this project is in full swing again and with one wing done it's a not far from completion.

The wing turned out well. cat_3nodding It looks very soft and fluffy. cat_xd I imagine it took a long time to get the technique for the feathers down. I would suggest adding some of the blue glow from the sword into the highlights of the wing though, at least at the top of the wing where they're closest together.

I'd like it if you could post the whole image. I'm curious how it all looks together. It's hard to judge from the partial picture.

Aaaand I'm never drawing wings again. I still got some lighting errors to correct, but I'm about ready to pass out and I still have work later. TvT;

I'm finally getting some proper artwork of myself done. I just had to get someone else to do it. I feel my pride is slightly tarnished from needing help portraying myself. cat_crying

Whoa. You can tell that you put a lot of time and effort into that! Holy crap. X_X; It's awesome. So detailed... emotion_kirakira ...sounds like you deserve a small vacation from it, though. XD

Kai doesn't get any rest. If my memory is correct he still has an auction piece he was supposed to finish before he started the angel and he hasn't even begun sketching yet.

While I'm on here, why do you feel it's necessary to draw abs on every girl? There's no cuteness in it. cat_burning_eyes

Might as well do something with that auction piece I was supposed to draw... *counts off months gone by on his fingers, but runs out of fingers before he finishes* a long time ago.

Aaaaand... randomly trying to improve my realism out of the blue. Because I really want to have better hair textures.
