Sorry I'm Welsh/German so I felt I should let you know. XD Yes it's a part of the UK now but it is a nations beside it.

And Kitty, it's alright, not to pick on your or anything. It's just that while I would understand being more interested in history because of Hetalia, a lot of people say things like you just said and think they mean it. "Thanks to Hetalia/Alfred I love my country!", which would be ridiculous.

I was going to post something about my trip to the museum but, I was waiting for well, an opportunity to say something since you were all busy talking about something else.

I was seriousy like a kid in a candy store. Was it bad that once I wandered into the historic weapons section, I started fangirling?

as for what this has to do with hetalia... nothing I guess except imaging Greece reacting to the section with the mummified cats.

eh, just a regular run of the mill museum. I got lots of good references for weapons from there. There was an exhibit on Asia on the first floor, and exhibits for Europe, Greece and Egypt on the 3rd floors.

I got lost wandering around the europe exhibits XD

oh Art history, how I love yew...

We had a lecture today about medieval art, and our professor mentioned something about the Romans going to war with the Celts, only to to have the crap scared out of them when they saw the Celts rushing into battle NAKED, screaming bloody murder, and oh yes, playing bagpipes.

Why do I now have this disturbing image of that happening, only with Grandpa Rome involved?

I was watching a movie earlier and there was a French man and a British man who were stuck in a car together and were squabbling, pointing out each other's flaws. Oh and the French dude cooks and romances the ladies. I was lol'ing.

You know, I was watching Captain Corelli's Mandolin the other day, and in there they have so many insults against the Italians during WWII. Like, "A brave Italian? You must be a freak of nature!". So it really gets me that people are harping on Hetalia fans for "feeding into stereotypes". I've seen it in so many movies, so many shows.
