*Opens the door for his Dolce Cosa and lets her enter the establishment first. He sizes up who is present and escorts her to the bar so she can sit at the end on a stool. He goes behind the bar and makes her a Martini and himself a Manhattan. cool
He places her martini in front of her, grabs an ashtray and comes back around to sit next to his Dolce Cosa. cool He pulls out a cuban and lights the cigar.*

Amy wrapped her arms around Kai's shoulders and buried her head in the crook of his neck. She clung to him like he was the last thing she would ever touch.
"I've never had someone willing to give up everything just to follow me... no one. But no... we won't leave. You said you'd be willing to sacrifice what you have for me, so I will make a sacrifice for you. You said when we first came across each other a few weeks ago that you wanted to try and settle down. Well, I want to try and help you with that. Besides, it's not the town itself that bothers me, or even a lot of people. It's just that seeing three specific people has been hard. I could have dealt with that just fine if that was all it was. But when magic started acting all wonky, that was my last sense of security... or so I thought. I wrongly felt like I didn't have anything to hang onto to help me through the times I started to feel bad. Like a security blanket, if you will. But now I realize that I have you and I can lean on you. I should come to you when I'm feeling upset about something and not just shut myself away and throw myself into magic. I should talk with you."
Oddly enough, she thought she felt a presence behind her all of a sudden. She turned her head and was surprised to see Ryzan quietly walking away. Amy unwound one of her arms from Kai's shoulders and waved at Ryzan.
"Hey Ryzan. You don't have to leave."
Amy lifted herself up slightly so that she was sitting in Kai's lap and leaning her head on his shoulder. "We were just talking."
EDITS: Amy noticed two other people coming in, one of them being Psy. She nodded and smiled at them. "Hello."

*Tries to do the polite thing and not stare and Kai and Amy. They obviously would like some privacy. There are some more private tables where couples tend to gather…share a bottle of wine or champagne with the glow of a lit candle. So romantic. emotion_kirakira She sips her Martini texts Kyle to gather any paperwork she needs to take home while watching Mr. Giovanni smoke his cigar as he watches the patrons. Amy laughed softly at Ryzan's comment and situated herself on Kai's lap so that she could look out at the bar at everyone and still have her arms wrapped around his shoulders. She rested her head on his shoulder and breathed in his scent as she spoke.
"I bet you do. It's... nice to have someone to do that with."
She would have continued, but then Kai made a comment about being blind and her being the best braille book around. This caused Amy to blush and bury her head in the crook of Kai's neck momentarily. It was so odd to be so happy and so affectionate with someone in public, in front of others, and have them reciprocate strongly and positively. She really enjoyed it, but she did have to get used to it.
"Kai..." She admonished him gently and teasingly.
She hugged Kai closer and then looked out at the bar again. Her gaze fixed on the man she didn't recognize and wondered why he seemed so connected with Psy. Maybe it was a business transaction.

I specialize in illusions and mind control, jhal there are a number of other spells I have as well.
*said rather casually. Though he was sure what Amy said was directed at him, with her curled up against Kai the way she was, he wasn't sure she was actually trying to talk with everyone else or if she just wanted to be alone with Kai sweatdrop It wasn't really something he had a response to anyway*
