Monster Mash ((Finished.))

[Maya Freana]

"About as better as you'd expect." She sighed, taking a bite and seeming to relax a little. "Sikes got what he wanted at least. Or at least I think he did. I'm not sure what was real and what I was hallucinating...."  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Can't say I'm surprised. I was amazed you didn't pass out the second you came back. How's the arm?" Adrian asked looking at her shadowed limb.  

[Maya Freana]

"It feels alright for the moment. A little sore, a little weird feeling, but hey, it's an arm at least." She told him with a shrug as she flexed her hand a few times to look it over once more. "What about your wings?"  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Like I've got two bags of very loosely connected bones hanging off my back." Adrian said with a slight sigh. "Frankly, I'm amazed I can walk around at this point."  

[Maya Freana]

"Yep, well the drugs certainly didn't help any. I know you don't like them, but at least take the healing supplements..." She muttered, looking at his wings sadly.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just as long as you can promise that I'm not going to go on a bloodthirsty rampage again." Adrian said grudgingly before shoving more cinnamon roll in his mouth.

"With just the supplements, you shouldn't." Amaya told him, reaching a hand into her pocket, placing a small baggy of pills on the table in front of him a moment later. "Up to you. That's purely the supplements though." She said before taking another bite.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well coming from you, that changes everything." Adrian said with a small smile as he got up to get himself a glass of milk before coming back and knocking back a few of the pills. "Since I'd like to think I have plenty of reason to be wary of anything Sikes hands me now." he said after washing the pills down with milk.  

[Maya Freana]

"You definitely should now..." Amaya murmured, pulling her knees to her chest as she just seemed to pull inside herself, staring at the cinnamon rolls quietly.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

Adrian set his glass down once he'd taken his pills and walked around behind Amaya and gently wrapped his arms around her. "Sorry, but you looked like you needed a hug."

Her left hand drifted up and held onto his arm softly, keeping his arms there. She felt safe there and she didn't want him to let go, at least not yet. "Thanks..." She murmured, resting her head on one of his arms for a moment.

"I'd give you the whole wing hug package, but as you know, they're kinda out of commission for a while." Adrian said with a faint smile, continuing to hold her all the while.  

[Maya Freana]

Amaya let out a small chuckle before she sighed deeply. "Alright, let go before my food gets cold." She told him, patting his arm as she laughed.

"Bah. That's what microwaves are for." Adrian joked as he took his arms away and sat back down to finish his own breakfast.

"It's never the same as fresh out of the oven." She said, taking another bite and smiling lightly.
