*has the bouncers go retrieve some old scraps that were to be thrown out from the Jade Dragon. While they're doing that and planting them on QuietStorm, Tes is busy calling a cab. Like hell he's going to let this drooling, meaty mess in his car talk2hand

The bouncers load him into the back when it arrives and he tells the cabby to drop him off at Psy's estate. Once the cab is out of sight, he goes back in to finish making that steamer, then downstairs to his quarters.*

She came out of PB and entered the bar, heading straight for the espresso machine to make herself a quad shot cafe' mocha. She stopped suddenly and looked at her reflection in the mirror behind the bar. It was still startling, this drastic hair color change that she had done, but she felt like it was time to make some changes in her life. Her new hair was merely a physical statement to herself that it was time to do exactly that.

She took her coffee and had a seat at the bar as she mulled over the things...and lack of things that had been going on in her life. Pulling out a clove, she lit it and took a drag, exhaling the fragrant smoke into the air as she thought about her relationship...or rather lack of a relationship with Hauk. She understood that they were both busy with their respective jobs, but she hadn't heard from him in weeks. Granted, she was a fault too for not keeping in contact, but she vaguely remembered her being the last one to have tried to get in touch with him.

She sat there and realized that she was bored with a lot of things in her life. She missed the adventure of her former life, and while she didn't want to resort back to her former line of work, she did want some excitement in her life. Maybe it was time to take a vacation of sorts. Psy seemed to be doing much better with her marriage...at least there had been no sudden phone calls with her crying on the other end. She and Kyle had everything caught up business wise, and Kyle was more than capable of handling things for a week or two if she did decide to go off on a jaunt of some sort.

But the pressing thing now was....was should she do about Hauk? confused

After sitting and thinking for a good long time, she finally got the nerve to call Hauk to tell him they should just call it quits. She pulled out her phone and called him, hoping that she could at least talk to him in person. neutral Sighing heavily at the sound of his voicemail, she cleared her throat before recording her message.

Kat's voicemail to Hauk

Hey Hauk...long time, talk...*sigh* Um...I don't really want to do this just over voicemail, but since we haven't talked in what seems like forever, I'm not sure if we even have a relationship anymore. I think we need to talk, but I suppose if I don't hear from you, I guess you feel the same way. *pause* Um, well....talk to you sometime then. Bye.

She disconnected the call and got up to pour a good measure of vodka into a glass. She leaned on the bar and sipped the vodka and hoped she was doing the right thing. Once she had finished her drink, she made her way downstairs to her quarters to find something to eat, not really feeling like being around people at the moment.
