Well, it doesn't really affect me much, so I guess it's more so the people that meet me have bad luck.

In today's case, it was a young man who was rather attracted to me even though I made it clear that I'm straight, married, and likely too old for him. I broke his heart by trying to give him advice on his drawing... apparently that's his sensitive spot. He retracted an order for some art he wanted featuring the both of us for "personal reasons" shortly afterward.

He was a bit of a stalker anyway which makes it a relief.

*ahem* I guess he was attracted to the "wise and sophisticated older man" aura I have going... or maybe just "older man"... I'm not really sure. In any case, he certainly wasn't mature enough to handle me like he thought he was. Also, he really needs to learn to be more accepting of feedback if he's going to be an artist.

And I break more than just the hearts of males! It's just coincidence that the two you know of happened to be male.
