Rabbit Doubt - End of the Tail

bandaidd woke with a start this time. Her stomach had gurgled. Or she had been kicked by strong and tiny little paws. Lady Ayami was gone, but there was a mug of peppermint tea by her bed. She sipped it gratefully and then went down to be with the other bunnies. She didn't want to be alone. Not now.  

[Faerie KatrinaZ]

*Faerie gets up to fix herself another chamomile tea and adds a splash of that clover-pressed whiskey. Before heading back to the table, she tosses a few more coins into the honor jar* Hey there, Band. Come join us over here and tell us what you think we should do ...

How many rooms are available upstairs? Maybe we should all just pack our bags and move in here until it's safe. That way we can keep track of everyone and take care of each other. I think poor Bandaidd is sick.

*wakes up and wonders why she's so cold before wandering back to the bar*
There should be 2 rooms left upstairs Psyzapp and there are a number of cots in the store room so there are plenty of beds for everyone who wants to stay here.
*walks over to the bar and empties the honor jar into the till before sitting down with a cup of tea*  

[Nei1]

Nei go off towards the tavern knowing full well that she now dead to the world. Perhaps she can get some comfort their being around her friends. Nei takes care not to step though the other bunnies as she takes a place by an empty booth in the corner.
 

[bandaidd]

bandaidd smiled gratefully at faerie's invitation and waved, then she turned and went to her little corner. She noticed the damp spot on the hardwood floor and frowned. Then she sat in the handcrafted chair and closed her eyes.

And opened them, fully expecting to see Nei sitting right beside her.

Nei? she whispered. Are you here?

She closed her eyes again and tried to feel rather than see Nei. She really needed someone to talk to. It had been three weeks. Only one more week, if her calculations were correct before kindling.  

[Nei1]

Nei senses a mind reaching out to her. She thinks to herself.


Hello? Who is this coming in to my mind?  

[bandaidd]

Nei! It's me, bandaidd! Can you hear me? Please please please.  

[Nei1]

Shocked at the sound of bandaidd's voice entering her mind, Nei goes over to bandaidd.


Is it truly you, bandaidd?  

[bandaidd]

Oh Nei! I think I am going to be a mommybunny and I don't know what to do. I have always wanted to be a mommy, but I don't think I am ready. I don't know how to do it. Nei, what should I do?

bandaidd started to sob quietly.  

[lady ayami chan]

*ayami hops in the bar with a basket full of freshly backed ginger snaps.*
I thought we could use some treats
*she catches bandaidd sitting with faerie adn smiled happily to see her up and about*
so any news?  

[Nei1]

Nei lets the news that bandaidd said sink in.

I happy for you. My life was snuffed out to make way for your new life. I wish I could help, I never been a mother before.  

[bandaidd]

Oh Nei! Don't say that! I feel terrible. This couldn't be the reason you died.  

[Nei1]

Nei does her best to comfort bandaidd.
I'm sure that you will be fine mother so why do feel terrible about it?  

[bandaidd]

I'm just scared and I don't want to think it had anything to do with your death! And I feel sick... I think I'm going to go to bed.

bandaidd got up and left the room quietly so as not to disturb the conversation about the wolf. She went straight to her room and climbed in bed.
