Mara after a while stood shakily from the floor and walked back the way she had come not towards the courtyard. She walked over to the one of the bathrooms and locked herself in a cubicle, sobbing quietly

Mara closed her eyes as tears trickled down her cheeks and she breathed heavily in and out and shook her head. She hated how she was feeling ... would Bryan really ... did he like the girl more?

Or at least don't hate me.Instead of going to the bathroom Bryan went to the courtyard and stood there. In his pocket was a necklace he had made of beads and shells for Mara. He probably wouldn't ever give it to her since he was always to shy to talk to her.
((Okay yuppers... She's in her cage now about to take a nap... *sighs* Finally. Oh and how can Mara think that way? How can he not speak to one girl he likes but can to another? That's kinda confusin)) When i show you mine,

Mara slowly rose and washed her face with cold water. She would give him the chance to explain if he would come forwards, she didn't know if she could bare going to him. She picked up her books and walked from the bathroom, her head low

Rain shrugged as Bryan walked out of the classroom to go to the rest room and then laid her head down on her desk as the professor rambled on about the lesson.

Mara jumped when she heard the male voice call out her name and closed her eyes before turning to look at him, opening them but dropping her gaze to the ground "Bryan" she said in barely concealed pain.

Mara closed her eyes again and looked away with a toss of the head, just enough to indacte her unhappiness and insecurity. It was an automatic movement which, if people knew how to read them, then her emotions were out in the open, if they weren't already. "I heard you talking with that girl ... do ... " she couldn't continue

He walked closer to her and took the necklace out of his pocket. It was clenched in his fist so it wasn't seen. He walked close enough that he would have been able to hug her if he wanted to try but instead he put both hands around her neck and clipped the necklace... "I don't know what you were going to say but Rain, she's just my friend. I hope you like it." He said removing his arms and putting them back at his side. "I made it myself. When i show you mine,

Mara gasped as she felt the cold shell touching her skin and felt it under her fingers. It made her feel a lot better now she knew about the girl he was talking too ... so they weren't going out. "Its beautiful" she said before throwing her arms about his neck in a hug "thank you! You don't know how much this means to me!"
