Veni started to purr.
"Malos already here. Left for little while. Willow forget why. He supposed to be back soon. Willow thought we stay home. It not too late to go out? It be dark for a time now." The pixie usually slept this time of year outside, but a combination of being in a warm house and Malos kept her up. "Dark wing tall one go out?"
After they fed on Muerte, the giant went back to his chair, and did a bunch of things he wouldn't normally have done. He folded his napkin in his lap, drank tea with his pinky up, used that pinky to quietly set his cup down, cut his fajita with a knife with his nose slightly up, started eating it with a fork, took little bites, chewed it better than he normally did, and pat his lips with his napkin before taking a sip of tea.
As for the kids they went after the sacs, thinking that tomorrow they'd go out or sneak out if they had to and lure someone.

"A name is a good way to start...sounds familiar... My name is Sephiroth." He offered a hand to shake to the air and if not taken he'd put it back down and continue eating.

Once Rosemary was done with Galantros she, gave him a hug, and a pat. She then went for a sip from Black for a salty taste. Much like someone who dips fries into their milkshake. However since Rosemary was only taking a sip she didn't lick the spot or anything since she wanted the wound to heal rather quick.
Black tilted her head automatically...really everyone was making it difficult to eat tonight... and went into her happy daze for a moment. "How do you like your meatless dinner tonight?"

Galantros couldn't help but start to chuckle just ever so slightly at what Dan and Daisy were doing to Muerte. He stifled it best he could though.
"Well, it's only about 7 or so, I don't think it's *too* late at night. Even if it were and a concern about safety came up, Malos is a pretty well trained martial artist even if he doesn't always show it off. Never goes anywhere without a few of his knives either I believe.
Dinner's good. Almost can't tell it's not meat!"
Idly, Galantros thought to himself that Gaia must be learning some of Limbo's culinary skills and recipes for false meats. That's the way it usually ended up, Limbo would sometimes pick up an interesting idea, magic, or tech here or there, and would share what they have in spades over time with the giving realm. Gaia actually had some rather interesting magical properties that Limbo had been studying.
"What do you think Black, wanna go out somewhere tonight? Maybe I can just take you out flying for a while?"
Moor'teis meanwhile accepted Sephiroth's handshake with his own ghastly looking hand, full of elongated, chipped black fingernails, a hint of skeleton visible through tealish smoke that flowed throughout his "body" in substitute for flesh.

Jacob got most of the 'meat' probably from Limbo so no one would have known what he meant by his thoughts. Black had made some of it and she probably was learning some of Limbo's culinary skills.
"Safety? No it's dark! Willow knows about the knives, but she's not supposed to tell where they are at."
BlackMN didn't answer GL at first still in her dreamy state. When Rosemary was done, she told her that he asked her if she wanted to go flying. "Only if we do it in the southern hemisphere or somewhere else warm." It was too cold to do it at her house and at night she thought.
Rosemary started thinking about flying. She'd actually grown to like it more and more over the years probably because she was the angel of air and was supposed to like being in the air...and slowly she found she liked it A LOT more than she used to.
When Veni released Jacob's now hickyfied neck and realized what was going on he said, "Dan! Daisy! Stop playing and release him!"
"Oh hum." And Muerte could choose to continue what he was doing or stop.

Muerte blinked, realizing what he had been doing, his pinky up in mid-sip of tea. He could understand general manners, and he HAD vastly improved, but he thought this was a bit much.
"Very amusing Dan and Daisy."
"Oh sure, I hadn't planned on flying around this area anyway. A little too frosty for my tastes to go zipping about with cold winds in our faces."
At that point, Malos entered, closing the door behind him. The first thing he did was go up behind Willow and gently kiss-touched her wings before greeting everyone.
"Sorry Willow, training session with Githar ran a bit later than expected."

"Oh my, whatever should I do to them Muerte? They weren't making fun of your normal eating habits. I don't know if it's a comfort Muerte, but that's the most common thing they make strong looking men do when they manipulate them in a restaurant because they find it amusing to see such characters eat that way. On the other hand if they got someone with a normal body build hypnotized, especially one who dressed handsomely, he'd probably be eating without a fork. What would you rather have them have you do?"

Muerte seemed to scratched his chin for a moment, then grinned just ever so slightly.
"Well, what you could do to them, Veni, is to have them go through a day of one of my rigorous trainings. My saturday training, to be exact."
Likely, this would elicit a groan or complaint from the vampire children, for Saturdays were the days that Muerte pushed himself the hardest training wise, and almost without mercy. Of course he rewarded himself the day after on Sunday by barely training at all and relaxing through various playtimes.
"We'll have to scale the training to their strengths and limits, of course. Can't have it be too easy for them. We can spend another day finding out how much they can handle within reason."
"Yike, two whole days with Muerte as your personal trainer..."
Muerte's response was to grin only a little wider.

Dan was the only one who groaned for ladies do not make such noises.
"Of course, but you can't do it in they day. I wouldn't expect them to do your version of Saturday when I can't even get through one night of it. I'm not even sure if vampires are made to keep moving at their full potential for so long." Veni had to sleep a couple hours at least every day.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Ma Jian-shen.
"I mean Rosemary couldn't do it either though she's better at it. We get to the point where we stiffen up and just can't move, though when Muerte comes at us with that ax of his, whatever natural restriction that is on us seems to release for fleeing but then when we don't feel threatened again we're done. Sephiroth is the only one here that could of those who've attempted. I'm not sure if it's because of his military training, if he has more stamina, his willpower, or his genes or a combination of all three."
Ma Jian-shen seemed to think on this debating on doing it or observing first.
"I do not believe I would have been able to get through the day when we first met," said Sephiroth trying to be somewhat modest. He became more powerful and had better endurance he noticed once he became whole again a couple years ago. He still wasn't as fast with most movements as Rosemary or as strong as Veni, but he had good stamina and was still better with a sword than either of them and had ways to compensate to still be a good match against any of them. "If it's done after sunset on Saturday, I'll do it too."
Sephiroth never did any work except for the little necessities or training sundown Friday till sundown Saturday because that is the Sabbath to the Lord his God and he did no work on it nor did Veni force him to on that day or anyone for that matter who had some belief behind it. (I'm sure Rosemary would have adjusted her schedule with Muerte had he had that belief and let him have Friday/Saturday off.)
Though I can't say 2 nights of your training is entirely a reasonable punishment for what they did... Veni had Rosemary say for him to Muerte because he didn't want to say it out loud in front of the kids.

Muerte seemed to consider this.
The testing wouldn't be too difficult on them. I suppose I could go easier a bit without them knowing on the second day...
Malos took a seat next to Willow, still playing with her wings idly.

Willow fluttered them a little thinking gosh this is entertaining.
When dinner was done Sephiroth helped clean up, spent some time with his mom telling her that he proposed, hugs and kisses before bed, and as Abigail was late he prepared for bed, read a little, and idly tinkered with an advanced laptop like device from Limbo while he waited until he would decide if he really needed to go to sleep...or send her a message to see if she's alright.
Sometime later that night or maybe the next night, the kids gathered for Muerte's test. For the first time Muerte and probably almost everyone else saw Daisy in something other than a dress or skirt of sorts and this outfit really showed off her little legs. She wore some really short athletic shorts almost buruma like with a long t-shirt that was long enough to cover them and her hair tied up into two curly bouncy pig tails. Dan was wearing something similar only his shorts were slightly longer. They stood there waiting for the giant to tell them what to do.

"First... I want to see how good your stamina is. You are going to exert yourselves doing something very simple, yet very exhausting. We'll be using the holographic machine for this, so there is no real risk of injury, but it will not be fun. I have had Galantros help me set the machine so that physical exertion will be experienced, aches of muscle will happen, and everything else is done in a manner true to life."
He motioned them to follow him onto the holo-gamer... Aside from being sure they wouldn't be risked real actual injury, the holo-gamer would give them plenty of "virtual space" to do the exercises he had planned. The first of after warming up a little and stretching, being...
"I want you two to run on this track. As fast as you possibly can, no holding back, and for as long as possible. Ready? ... RUN!"
Muerte ran alongside the two vampires, actually keeping up, barking at them to run faster and faster, and "Do not stop! You are not exhausted yet!". When it seemed like they were going slower for whatever reason, even if just beginning to start to feel fatigue, he would shout at them to run faster in that scary, deep commanding voice of his. The track wasn't an average sized track, it was much larger than most, given that he knew vampires could be fast little devils if they wanted to be so the extra space and room for them to run would make better estimates on their stamina.
When they were tired enough to be stumbling and walking was the fastest speed they could possibly maintain, he commanded them to stop. He then checked for how long they had been running, and how fast. (Curious, give an example of what it'd take to wear out the vampire children.)
Next he tested their strength. He started them out with standard weights at a medium to heavy mass, and kept pushing to see how much they could lift. He would yell at them to stop showing off if they started to, and the punishment would be extra weight to see how much more they could take.
He still wasn't done with them. For a brief amount of time, so the computer could measure it instead of him making the children "sick", he tested their endurance in sunlight. Measuring their vitals and the amount of sun sickness they suffered in a set amount of time, he would get an estimate of how much they could handle before passing out, or suffering a severe injury.
Finally, he tested each of their muscle groups with full work outs of each section, though not at a blistering, bone crunching pace or amount.
Inbetween each major work out, Muerte also gave them time to fully recover.
The rest of the time was spent doing lighter exercises and stretching, until just about a couple hours before dawn. Muerte made sure the children were tired before they were allowed to go to sleep for the day. He did at least give them a gruff verbal reward for their efforts and to prepare themselves for Saturday Night.
"I won't and can't be as merciful then."

It wasn't boom they were at top speed which Veni could almost do, it actually took the kids a few football fields to reach their best, Dan hitting it before Daisy who soon after reaching it tripped on his own feet. Daisy had slowed and stumbled when he fell. After that they kept up their top speed of almost 200 for about 5 to 10 minutes and then gradually slowed down to about half that speed for maybe another 15, Dan barking back at Muerte that he couldn't do the original anymore. Maybe after an hour or two of running they got to the point of stumbling and walking. They probably could have done better if they jogged the whole time instead of going from best to worst.
Muerte found out they could carry about 15-20x their weight. The kids sort of panicked when he got to the sun test because they were never up more than a few hours before sunset and almost never went outside much before it. Well during the worst part of the day they would probably pass out if they were constantly in the sun doing nothing in about 20 minutes and within 5 if they were as active as Muerte had them be.
"And exactly how are we supposed to do that?" Asked Daisy. It should have been obvious to Muerte by then that they didn't normally push themselves that much nor did they enjoy it.

"Train yourselves until Saturday arrives. Do whatever exercises you can to work out and get your muscles in shape. Do not go easy on yourselves, but do not push yourself to extreme limits either, especially the night before Saturday. I'm not expecting you to be fully prepared, just to be limbered up before a punishing night of training. Remember to warm up and cool down.
...Most importantly, do your best, even if it seems unlikely you'll get far on Saturday. Do your best, do not grow lax, and there may be a reward."

After the kids had left with confused looks on their faces, Veni said to Muerte, "you finished that well with the reward promise otherwise they might have either tried to think of ways to get back at you or avoid you from now on. If you continue to prove too daunting they might not ever try to do their version of playing with you either. It's up to you if you want that or not.
"You however just told two people to who haven't really found any physical activity they enjoy doing, beyond what you normally see, to do some exercises and to push themselves. To someone who doesn't normally do that, that is actually hard to do on ones own at first. I'm not entirely sure they know how to do what you just told them to do."
