  Fremere could not say if it is truly love that he feels for the childlike flutter, but it is the closest that he's come to feeling such an emotion.
He enjoys her company, despite being puzzled by most things that come from her mouth, and actively seeks it out if he notices that she is near by. When away and by himself, he finds that he actually misses her company, something that he has never felt for anyone else before.
