Umbra's Story

At a young age Umbra was left to the harsh truth of the world because her father disowned her and her sister because they weren’t skinwalkers. Moments after their mother had left as well leaving Umbra and Pandora alone but what was the worst ever was when her sister left. She had set out to prove their father wrong but in doing so also left Umbra to her own devices alone against the world. On her own she found a friend that she adored. Frost Feather came to her at a time when she needed someone. As they grew they became best friends. As a Mare she felt a close relationship with Frosty. She thought she loved him and never having ever loved anyone before she knew of only one kind of love and that was the love she felt for her best friend. When Frosty started to meet up with another mare Umbra felt as if he was going to replace her, feeling that way she plotted ways to steal Frosty away from the other mare. When that failed to work she fell into a deep despair feeling that was the only thing she could do.

In her depression she wandered the night returning to her roots as she felt only right. Her mother had done the same when she had left. Walking the nights was how she met her mate Kamau. It wasn’t so simple though. Hurt before by stallions was disowned by her father and replaced by Frost Feather she held no desire to get close to any stallions. After their first meeting she slipped away some night later she met a Stallion named Karloff a stallion who convinced her not to judge all stallions because of how her father treated her. They were not all judgmental and mean as skinwalkers. After a few more chance meetings with Kamau she let her guard down and began to spend more time with Kamau. With time came closeness and a bond. Their bond led them to become mates.

One fateful night came along and she conceived foals. After a month she still hadn’t shown. Other mares grew in their stomachs but not Umbra. She felt as if everything had once again become a failure, she was once more a failure. [Insert kidnapping plot information](She gets kidnapped, has the baskets hides them until she is able to escape with help from a friendly stallion)
And so the family journey begins…
