((I'm RPing by how I do in-game, and it usually takes me until a normal person gets to the first town to get to the third.))

((Yep, I'm usually only, like, lvl 50 or sumfin by the time I challenge the Elite 4.))

((I used to overtrain, but it was really taking the challenge out of the game. So I try to keep my team like 2-3 levels before the gym leader I'm battling. It makes things more challenging and interesting for me.))



Zane had his Torchic and Starly battle each other when suddenly, a wild Poochyena jumped out of a bush and attacked Starly with a Bite attack. Starly broke free from Poochyena's grip and readied himself for battle.


"Alright Starly, let's start this off with a Wing Attack!" Starly spread his wings and swooped down at Poochyena. Poochyena quickly jumped into the air, dodging Starly's attack, and then landed on the ground, letting out a Howl attack, increasing his attack power. Poochyena then dashed at Starly with his fangs open, ready to use Bite on him. "Starly, dodge with Quick Attack and then smack him with a Wing Attack!" Starly flew slightly to the side, dodging Poochyena's Bite, and then smacked Poochyen hard with a Wing Attack. Poochyena growled, and then dashed at Starly with yet another Bite attack. "If we dodged once, we can dodge again. Starly, use Quick Attack to dodge and then smack him with a Wing Attack!" Once again, Starly dodged Poochyena's Bite and hit him with Wing Attack. Realizing he had no shot at winning, Poochyen began to run away, fleeing from battle. "Not so fast," Zane yelled at Poochyena, "Starly, finish him off with Pursuit!" Starly became surrounded by a black aura and sped directly at Poochyena, leaving a black streak of light behind her. Starly collided right into Poochyena, fainting him.

"Nice job!" Zane said to his Starly. The three of them then returned to the pokecenter, healed up, and went to bed in a room they rented.

((I really feel like making Roxanne a lesbian, so I'm going to, k?))

Izzie, not wanting to screw up her challenge to the gym leader, like she has done a number of times before, started practicing what she was going to say to Roxanne. "Should I say it with a French accent? No, that'd be stupid, what about....? No, also stupid...... Maybe if I....? Gah..... no....... Maybe I should just say it straight, like a normal person. 'Roxanne, I challenge you to a gym battle.'"

"And I accept."

Izzie froze where she was standing. She wasn't expecting anyone to be behind her, or listening to her mumbling ramble.

Roxanne walked up directly behind her and whispered in her ear. "If you win, you can have the Hidden Machine Cut, the Technical Machine Rock Tomb, and the Stone Badge, but if you lose, you're coming home with me, alright, sweetie?" Then she left, but Izzie was still frozen in place as if Roxanne had hit her with Ice Beam.

Kor wakes up at 6AM the next morning and calls out his Ditto.

Kor: "Come on out Ditto and Transform into Rhyperior and use Fissure on that tree over there."

Kor points to a tree 100ft away and Ditto uses Fissure on it. When the Fissure hits the tree it splits in two and a bunch of KO'ed PKMN fall out of it.

Kor pulls out his specially upgraded Pokedex that was upgraded by Kor himself to be able to not only analyze the stats of PKMN and their known moves, but also their potential skill level, their nature, their personality, and how close they are to evolving if not fully evolved already. He scans a few Taillow, a couple Gligar (one is Shiny and is holding a Metal Coat oddly enough), a few Beedrill, and a very powerful Scyther.

He then throws a couple of Pokeballs at the Strongest/Closest to Evolving Taillow, Gligar (one with the Metal Coat), and Scyther. The 3 Pokeballs beep a few times and none of the PKMN escape.

Kor: "Yes I caught a Taillow, Scyther, and Gligar. Well I think I should give all 3 of them some Max Revives."

Kor calls out all 3 and they are still fainted. He sprays each of them with a full bottle of Max Revive for each one and they are instantaneously fully revive and restored to full health. He then picks up the Metal Coat and hands it to his brand new Scyther and it immediately starts evolving.

Afterwards...

Scizor: "Sci... Zor!!!"

The Scizor throws a few playful Jabs at an imaginary foe and uses an Aura Sphere on the nearby pond.

Kor: "Of course I'll come, but how about we eat some Breakfast b4 we train. Is that okay with you and is it okay if I join you in training your PKMN? I just caught a Shiny Gligar, a Scyther that I evolved with a Metal Coat I found, and a Taillow."

Zane was woken up early the following morning by his Torchic pecking on his hand. "Mornin' Torchic, morning Starly," Zane said. The two pokemon cheered and jumped onto Zane's lap.

After getting ready and eating some breakfast, Zane headed out to Route 102, stopping eventually for some training as well as researching for his internship.

Zane was so into his training that he didn't notice that a woman had started watching him until Torchic stopped her practice battle with Starly to stare at her. She had long blonde hair and wore a black outfit. "I'm sorry," she said with a smile, "I just love seeing new trainers interact with their pokemon." Zane replied, "So you're an experienced trainer?" The woman shook her head, "No, I've been traveling for years now." Zane nodded, "So is this your first time through Hoenn?" She shook her head once again, "No it isn't. I'm here to study the Hoenn region's mythology." The two talked a bit more, but eventually she said, "I'm so sorry to leave, but I've got to get going. I'm supposed to meet with the president of Devon Corps. in an hour. Let's exchange live caster numbers." The two exchanged their numbers and she began to walk off. "Wait," Zane shouted after her, "I never got your name." She smiled and introduced herself as Cynthia.
