I am Eleven years old, a Ravenclaw student. I am a half-blood standing with David in the Great hall entrance and wondering (Will he write me when we go our separate ways? I sure hope so...).

Shayna blushed a little when he said he was wondering if she was there. She tried not hide her giddiness and clapped."Well I'm here now. Yay! I had over heard it on the way here that some were already dueling."She said happily. That went better than she had hoped. She didn't think anyone would want to go with her. And since it was David she was even luckier."Shall we go?" She asked.

Ver followed the other two silently. A small smile twitched her lips for half a second at the excitement in the younger girl's voice, but it slipped away easily. She thought talking to Erik was supposed to make her feel better. Give her closure or whatever, but all she felt now was more empty, confused and lost than she had before hand. Thoughts swirled around in her head, but she didn't have the stamina to fight for them, and as quickly as they came to her they left. Silently a letter began to form in her head. It was for him... but for her as well. She wouldn't be able to continue until she had said what she needed to say, and she was to tired to say anything more tonight. "Yeah...." She muttered in a half response to Lyre and half way talking to herself and her thoughts.

Lukas led the group of first years into the anti-chamber, the sound of all the older students sounded out from inside the great hall. "Well, first off Welcome to Hogwarts." he said, stopping about a dozen feet from the doors. "Soon, you will enter the Great Hall and be sorted into your houses. Here your house is your family. Do well and you will earn points. Do badly and you will lose points. The houses are Slytherin. Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw. And Gryffindor." he explained. Now lets get this started. he thought with a smile. "Sorting will begin shortly." he said as he looked at the group. He stepped forward, leaving the group for several minutes. After about five minutes passed he arrived once again. "Sorting is now ready. Follow me." he said as he led the way to the Great Hall.

xxxLooking up she noticed the man who spoke, mostly likely a professor. Nudging Freya, "I guess we should follow her?" As they wend their way up the steps the castle was getting enormous. Amelia was baffled and wondered if she could get lost in this huge place. It was gorgeous though. Old antique and gothic features represented throughout the architecture.

Adalaide stopped short of entering the Great Hall, turning to look at her best friend, biting her lip. She wasn't sure how Michelle would react to this... the Slytherin tended to get a little revenge-y when people did things to people she was close to... she thought back to how she'd acted with Dom over what he'd done to her, and wondered how much worse Michelle would treat someone who hurt her baby sister. Of course, Dom had made Ada cry, whereas Steele really hadn't hurt Lyv since she'd been unconscious when he'd asked his stupid question.. so maybe this wouldn't be so bad. She shifted a bit, still not sure how exactly to go about this. She didn't really like Steele that much. He'd bailed on their team last year, and now he'd stuck his foot in his mouth. She supposed he'd not had much chance to land a good impression on her, but still. He was 0 for 2.

She followed along with Eretria, glad to have another prefect escorting her now that Jessica was gone. The two of them had usually been the ones to wrestle the younger years to follow, and, idly, she began to miss the redhead even though she’d only spoken to her a few times in passing. Shrugging the thought off of her shoulders she glanced around to see how many had followed and how many were still lingering at the Slytherin Table on their way to join them at the Great Hall. ”Come now dearies, wouldn’t want to get lost down in the dungeons, would you?” She called to those lingering behind and inside the great hall.

”This is the Great Hall antechamber! It leads to the dungeons, the grand staircase, and like you saw behind us, the Great Hall. Now, if you’ll follow me this way, our common room is down in the dungeons.”

She turned and headed for the Grand Staircase, ready to be done already! Her mind thought back to Cersei's words, wanting to meet alone. A light blush rose up, making the Prefect crack a light smile.

The massive doors were open, thankfully, as a red haired boy came bursting into the Antechamber, a pale girl in tow. There! He spotted the prefect that would be taking the first year's to the Common Room. "Shina! Wait!" he called to his teammate. Carefully, he made his way over to her as Cecille went on tapping her cane on the tiled floor. The room seemed to fill with the echoing sound of that cane. Tap! Tap! Tap! Once the pair reached the prefect, Chance began explaining his situation. "Shina, would you mind escorting my sister to the Common Room? I don't want her to get hurt or anything." Cecille smiled, hopefully, at this Shina girl. "I can make it by myself, Chancey." Chance flicked his gaze to the small girl. "No, ma'am." He looked back to Shina, awaiting an answer, as Cecille sighed. Oh well. It was worth a shot, she figured.

"Oh, of course! Cecille?" Shina said, heels tapping sharply against the flagstones as she walked over the girl. She reached for the hand not holding the cane, calmly taking it and tucking it into the crook of her elbow.

"My apologies for not noticing earlier, I was preoccupied with my own sister's sorting," Shina explained. "We'll wait for the others, then begin the trip to the common room. I would suggest traveling with others for a while, as the paths do change, depending on the days. The school has magic in its very foundation, and it doesn't like sitting still."

×××××Jaslyn had noticed Chance escorting his sister out to the rest of the first years, and quickly followed behind him. She smiled watching from a distance as he made sure his sister was safe. Once she was certain the blind girl was in the care of Shina, she walked up behind Chance, and wrapped her arms around him happily. "What do you say to us sneaking off for a bit?" She asked with hope obvious in her voice. She wanted to spend some alone time with him, and just enjoy being in his company once again.
