Sol White

Sol finally joined the others inside, locking the door on her way in. The other guards were already securing windows and other possible entrances. She joined them after confirming both Isis and Lena were okay. Judging by the commotion outside, the Legions had finally reached their neighborhood.
"It's going to be a long night..."

Lena Ryder

Lena finished with her weapon and joined the other guards, shifting nervously from foot to foot. She tried chatting with a few of them to lighten the mood, but they were too tense to make conversation, which gave Lena the scary feeling that they knew something she didn't that made them so tense.

She found herself gravitating toward Sol, since she actually felt more relaxed around that female. "So, is it like this every night?" she asked, only half-joking.

"Pretty much..."
Sol sighed and crossed her arms over her chest, observing the other guards silently. The day had left the poor creatures drained. She shook her head, motioning for them to stop what they were doing and grinning.
"Okay, boys and girls~! I'm taking first watch tonight! Head upstairs and get some rest!"
Most of the guards hesitated, but eventually decided to obey. Only a few of them remained downstairs. They were Sol's usual companions.
"You should try to relax too, Lena. You can take one of the later shifts if you like...First watch is always the most hectic. It gets better as the night goes on though."

Lena hesitated for a moment. She was rather tired, thanks to the day's events, but her arm was smarting in a way that she knew would keep her up if she tried to sleep. Besides, the nightmares were likely to wake her even if the pain didn't. She smirked a little at Sol and shook her head. "Nah, it's fine. I'm a night person."

She went to stand beside the south entrance behind the stage, keeping an eye on the streets from that position.

Onion

Onion had gone ahead of her master to clear the way. Their earlier work had stirred up trouble, though this didn't really surprise her any. She had expected that ruining the festival would put the Spinatologists on edge. The girl giggled, cheerfully stepping over the body of her latest victim and knocking on the south entrance door of Tender Sugar. She had decided to take care of the Legion before it had the chance to become a problem for the bar staff. Alas, it was only one Legion down. There were several more wandering around the street.
"Honey~! It's Onion~! Open up~!"

Honeybee

"I'll have to door open in just a sec, sweetie~!"
The male giggled, making his way over to the south entrance and unlocking the door, allowing Onion to enter the bar. Honey developed that same proud appearance he had had when he first returned to Tender Sugar earlier, placing his arm around the girl and grinning victoriously. As far as he was concerned, their earlier attack had been successful, despite it drawing the Legions out.
"I don't suppose Lady Azul will be joining us tonight?"
Onion nodded, removing herself from Honey and wandering over to the bar, sitting quietly while she waited for her master.
"Should have known...She isn't the cautious type..."

"Who isn't, my dear Honeybee?"

The scorpion herself finally joined the others in the bar, shutting the door behind herself. She would have asked the other rebels to come as well, but there were too many enemies out tonight. Azul wasn't about to risk the lives of the men and women who followed her for something as trivial as a meeting. If she needed to, she could fill them in later.
"I see you've taken in another stray...Who might you be, dear?"
Azul positioned the her tail beneath Lena's jaw, moving the female's head a little so the scorpion could study her. She didn't look like a dancer...She must have been a guard then.

Lena stepped aside to let the newcomers into the bar, jumping slightly when Honey's guest turned to her. She bristled at the word 'stray' and swatted away the woman's tail. She didn't know why, but she didn't like being touched by her. "Lena," she replied shortly, moving her hair back in front of her face. Lena didn't like her scar showing any more than she liked taking off her gloves.

"Charming girl, aren't you?"
Azul chuckled and settled down beside Onion. She began playing with the smaller female's hair with her tail while she waited for Honey to join her, her gaze shifting around the room to make sure they weren't being watched. She highly doubted one of the Legions could get into the bar without Honey noticing, but it never hurt to check.
Her caution didn't go unrewarded. The scorpion wasn't the first to notice the few members of the Legions that had slipped in through the still open, but she was the first to say it out loud. Isis had realized they were there first, letting loose an arrow and taking out the first Legion that entered the bar.
"We have company! Ready your weapons people!"

Somewhere behind her, she heard Sol set off the alarms, assuring that all of the residents of Tender Sugar were aware of the threat.

Lena drew her gun and immediately got between the Legions and the others as best she could, enraged that they had gotten past her. She shot several through their superior aortas, killing them instantly, but more kept pouring in through the open ********... Just... ********>" she snarled as she tried and failed to get to the door to shut or block it, to stem the flow of Legions. It was only thanks to her bounty hunter training that she managed not to get shot.

Also, thanks to her bounty hunter training, she saw one of the Legion members fire at Sol with a smirk. For some reason, getting between Sol and that bullet was suddenly the most important thing for Lena. She managed to tackle the shorter girl to the floor just in time, the bullet knocking her hat from her head. Lena crouched in front of Sol defensively and continued to fire. "You okay?" she asked in a clipped, yet still worried, tone.

Sol White

"I'm fine...Thank you."
Sol nodded, pulling out her gun and preparing to fire. Before she had the chance to do anything, however, it registered in her head that the weapon no longer functioned properly. She hissed and tossed it to the side, reaching for her knife instead, only to find that it too was gone.
"Right...I gave to Isis earlier...Damn!"
The woman growled and tried to make herself look as threatening as possible. She didn't care if she had to fight the Legions off with her bare hands. They would not harm the bar's residents. The rest of the bar's security began to file downstairs, a few remaining upstairs to defend the dancers. Sol yelled over the gunfire, trying to get the necessary orders across.
"I don't care how you all do it, just block off that door!"

Lena Ryder

Lena didn't respond to Sol's thanks except for a slight nod; she was too busy trying to keep the Legions at bay. More were pouring in with every second, and the door was no closer to being blocked. In fact, the longer it stayed open, the easier it became for the Legions to invade. She was torn between going to try again to block it herself, and staying to protect Sol.

In the end, staying in front of Sol won out. The female wasn't making it easy for her, though... She insisted on moving around and shouting, which only drew the Legions' attention to her. On top of that, Sol was unarmed. Finally, Lena grabbed Sol around the waist and held her in place, still keeping her body between the gunfire and the other female. "Would you ******** stay still for half a second and let me protect you?" she growled in frustration.

"I don't need to be protected..."
Sol pouted defiantly, but obeyed and stopped moving. She would be of no use to anywhere if she was dead. The female sighed, desperately wishing she had a functioning gun. Not being able to do anything was making her feel helpless. Sol hated the feeling with a passion.

Azul made blocking the door look easy, though in reality even she had trouble with it. The scorpion fought her way through the Legions, using only her tail. Had she actually used her weapon, fighting off the crowd would have been significantly easier, but she didn't want to add to the mess. The bar needed to be in one piece for tomorrow.
She forced herself up against the door, somehow managing to close it, effectively cutting off the flow of Legions. There was still the problem of those who had managed to get inside, but the guards would make quick work of them. Honey tossed the key to her when he had the opportunity to do so, allowing her to lock the door.
"Just got to hope they don't break the thing down..."
She frowned and began a quick headcount to confirm none of the residents of the bar had died. Several guards were injured and the rabbit eared dancer had developed a slight limp, but in all things didn't look too horrible. They could have ended up like the dead Spinatologists spread throughout the bar.
"Those with any first aid experience tend to the injured! Everyone else, start cleaning! We need to get this place to a functional state again before morning."
