"Eight years?" he repeated, "How old are you now? Fourteen?"

Dr. Haus was walking down the corridors with his cane in hand as he heard people arguing close by. He saw the Xeno and Sally walk by, with Sally trying to carry Ashes, with some obvious trouble. "Hey, you two. Stop for a minute." He called out.

Amaya had been passing Dr. Haus when she heard him call out to someone. Handing her papers to a passing assistant to her, she looked down the hallway. "Um, medic, do you need help?" She asked as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Hm," Haus looked over his shoulder, "Oh no, I'm fine. Just trying to get to those bickering kids over there. Though if you really want to help, you can try to stop them. Oh, and one of them is trying to carry our Weapons Specialist, FYI."

"What?" Amaya asked as she looked wildly over at the group again. "Um, shouldn't you make sure Ashes is okay? You are kind of the doctor after all." She muttered before running over. "Guys guys! What happened?" She asked as she took Ashes from the two, seeming to have no trouble lifting her, though she was very weak looking, she actually had quite a bit of muscle from strong arming Omega when needed.

"Uh, that's why I'm trying to get to them," Dr. Haus said.

Xeno was surprised to see Amaya take Ashes from Sally. "Well, I wouldn't be too rough with her. She hit in the head by a vent grate."

"And why was she hit by vent grate," the limping doctor said as he got closer.

"I don't need attitude Adelbert." Amaya growled in response to his comment. Straightening now, she looked to Xeno, nodding her head. "Why indeed?"

"She was not hit with a vent...the vent hit a shelf...that fell on her...IT'S HIS FAULT!!! Sally protested with a rough gesture as her arms were freed from Ashes' weight. His shots woke me up, then he made me pissed off so I stomped on it and...well, I guess I don't mah own strength" She admitted with a blush. "But if it weren't for him, I'da been 'sleep in the first place" She stomped again, before seeming to realize something the man said. She turned to him, pissed off once again.And whatif I amfour-teeen Whatsa big idea about mah age anyways!? She demanded angrily

"Sally...what were you even doing in the vents in the first place?..." Amaya asked as she raised an eyebrow. It was rather odd, she certainly didn't remember doing such things at that age, then again, things were different then.  

[Serrenedy]

Sally's eye twitched. "I was doin mah job, does no one pay attention to me" She scoffed a bit sadly and pouted. I've been hanging out up there watchin out fer trouble

"I was not the only one shooting, Ashes was shooting too," Xeno protested.

"Enough," Haus said getting annoyed. "I don't care whose fault it was, all I care about is how she got hurt. Amaya, if I've been having an attitude then it is because my leg has been acting up. That, and that is how I am. Now, please take her to my office and put her on one of the beds. As for you two come by office in an hour." He limped back to his office.

"Oh I so love him when he gets cranky. Knew I should have stolen that synthetic tech from Beta before I left." Amaya muttered under her breath before she followed after Haus and then eventually passed him, placing Ashes on one of the beds as instructed. With that done, she took a seat nearby, not really having anything better to do, so she decided she'd stay and keep her cranky friend company.

"Whatever you say, Doc," Xeno said. He turned on his heel and headed back to the range to retrieve his guns.

Haus got to his office a minute after Amaya did. "Oh, your still here. I thought you would just drop her off then go back to your other duties. Ah, no matter." He got a small flashlight, then pulled a chair to the other side of Ashes. He started examining the big bruise on the side of her head.

"Well I need to talk to the leader about a plan and some issues. But I can't find 'em. So you're the next best option. So I'm waiting until you're finished checking on Ashes." Amaya explained as she crossed a leg over her knee and leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knee and her head in her hands.  

[Guardian Sol]

"Alright," he said while still examining the wounded area. "Hmmm, it's just a concussion. If I had an X-ray machine or an MRI, I would be able to tell more, ah well. She's just going to be unconscious for a few hours," he got up to walk to his desk, "If she is out any longer than eight, than we're gonna have to take her to the hospital." He sat down behind his desk, which was disorganized with a giant, tennis ball on top which he immediately grabbed and started to play with. "So, what do you want to talk about?"

Xeno reached the shooting range and grabbed his guns. He looked at the vent cover and thought, I wonder if recover soon. He put the cover back where it is supposed to be. He then went to the mess hall.

"Yeah, because taking a wanted resistance member to a hospital will be easy..." Amaya sighed. Once Haus was done though and all settled, Amaya took a deep breath and got up. "Well, I was going to suggest an attack to capture and study Nyx, the Omega Delta System. And before you shoot me down, I do know how to bring her down. Or at least stun her long enough to restrain her. There's been evidence that something happened to her arm around the time that I escaped Epsilon and if I'm right, all threat can be reduced to just her right arm and it's easy enough then to keep her restrained if we have the right amount of electricity to keep her contained." She said, basically summing up everything she had blurted to Xeno earlier.

((Sorry, I was cleaning 5 betta fish bowls, a 10 gallon fish tank, and a VERY dirty turtle tank today. The unfortunate downside of being a pet owner. BTW, NEVER get a turtle. lol love him, understand I have to take care of him, but no one told me how dirty they are.))
