Arc Vembris Suicidesoldier#1 Awesome! blaugh Although I don't really know much about pixies, so if you would be so kind as to tell me some stuff/link me dat thing that D&D put up a while ago... sweatdrop That would be nice. xp Pixies are wee little dudes, but more or less you pretend they're small. They can fly, but can't fly high enough to be out of sword range for a gobbo. They do have pixie dust however that can let anybody 'really' fly for one round. Hmm, the party has a half-controller/half-leader. Should I be a Skald, or a Protector Druid/Witch?
Um... idk. O_o
I'ma go look up some stuff about pixies. xp
To be honest I don't know much about all these new fancy new fangled classes and stuff.
What's a witch? ._.

also, i think i'm gona take rain's usual stance and say i want in unless someone newer wants a shot. she needs a backstory, but i even have a character: Goliath sorcerer

The fluff resembles a warlock, but they play like a wiz. They're controllers and not a full subclass like the Binder. The deeper fluff is that this is what a wizard was, back before magic became studied and written down. The words even have similar origins. Further, the gist of a warlock is that you made a deal and you got out like a bandit with the better end of it. For a witch, it's that you made a deal you don't know the full implications of, and whatever you made the deal with(you may not know what) has sent a little critter to keep its eye on you. The deal a witch can make might be with anything, where a warlock pact heavily colors their class features. Witches can serve pretty much anything, so that leaves a lot of room for creativity.
Damnit, that's it. I'm playin' a witch.

Damnit, that's it. I'm playin' a witch. i'm just saying they could have easily done the same thing with a warlock subclass, even managed the more controller-y style, as warlocks have had a big controller bent from square one. they just didn't for no great reason.

Racial Traits Average Height: 0'6"-1' Average Weight: 1-4 lb. Ability Scores: +2 Charisma; +2 Dexterity or +2 Intelligence Size: Tiny Speed: 4 squares, fly 6 squares (altitude limit 1). You cannot use this fly speed if you are carrying more than a normal load. Vision: Low-light vision languages: Common, Elven Skill Bonuses: +2 Nature, +2 Stealth Fey Origin: Your ancestors were native to the Feywild, so you are considered a fey creature for the purpose of effects that relate to creature origin. Speak with Beasts: You can communicate with natural beasts and fey beasts. Wee Warrior: You have a reach of 1, rather than the reach of 0 that is typical for a Tiny creature. You also take a -5 penalty to Strength checks to break or force open objects. When wielding a weapon of your size, you follow the same rules that Small creatures do. Pixie Magic: You have the pixie dust and shrink powers.
SPECIAL RULES As a pixie, keep the following rules in mind. Sharing a Space: Because you are Tiny, you can enter the space of a Small or larger creature and end your turn there (forced movement must still end in an unoccupied space, unless noted otherwise). Two creatures are considered adjacent ifthey are in the same square. Altitude limit: You fall at the end of your turn if you are using your racial fly speed and are more than 1 square above the ground (see the rules for flying and falling in the Rules Compendium). Weapons: Because you follow the same weapon rules as a Small creature, you cannot use a twohanded weapon unless it has the small property. When you use a versatile weapon, you must use it two-handed but don't gain the normal + 1 bonus to damage for using it in that manner. Pixie adventurers who have a lot of trust in their comrades sometimes allow themselves to be placed in a pouch or pocket while the group is traveling. Hiding a pixie in this manner is a great way to sneak in an extra adventurer when the characters are infiltrating a dangerous place. The presence of an extra hero can often turn the tides against an unprepared opponent.
