Narrowed eyes survey the table beneath them with a look of pure disgust. As she had though most of the table consisted of appetizers and most of those were of the sea food meaning her journey from one end of the table to the other was in affect nothing more than time wasting and to top it all off several people where now milling around in the corner she had been sat in, why had she agreed to place herself around these annoying, supposed, upperclassmen again? Oh that’s right she hadn’t. Fastening herself to the wall like Velcro Jackie crossed her arms, her body ridged as she settled for glairing intently at the clock on the opposing wall, willing the hands to move faster.

"Well... well..." Sighing, Lilit just pouted more.
"That's all I want, sweetie. Is for you to try and love yourself." Ava kissed her friend on the cheek, then the lips, both gently. "And know that I'll always be here to love you, too. You're my bestest friend ever."

"Such brutish weapon's don't suit you in the least" he chuckled walking with Sable as he gave a glancing look back towards Lilit. "They are nothing but human's who pride themselves on being the wealthiest of the elites in there society. There is no need for such insulting weapons to be brought within the complex as they will have metal detectors I am sure. Then what will your weapons get you other then kept out of the party" he laughed drawing one of his fingers across his tongue. A cut appeared on it attesting to the sharpness of the nail. Smirking he shook his hand. "You are supposed to be one used mostly for combat and need to bring things such as that" he laughed again walking Sable out of the room and towards the limousine. He didn't want them to be late at all as the later they were the higher chance for there blood to be laced with liquor.

Sable walked alongside Kael, keeping a slightly hurried pace. Admittably, she did not want to be late either. She wanted to get a full scope of every guest as soon as possible. "I can't wait to taste one, maybe take a few for a couple games if they're suited to the task~"
"Thank you.." Jane muttured, grinning ever so broadly for the first time in a long while. Tears almost welled up in her eyes at being complimented so much in one day. Still, she didn't truly believe it, but it was nice to hear nonetheless.

Patting her friend on the arm, Ava got up. "I'm feeling a little tired, I think I'm going to take a quick nap. Wanna come to bed and help me get to sleep with a cuddle?" Maybe a little kissing, too, Ava added silently.

Satisfied at last with his inspection of their transportation, Valen opened the right-hand side door leading into the sleek black leather interior of the limo in preparation for the others. Paendragon was never one for entering before his Origin as doing so would inevitably mean placing himself into closer proximity without his choice of how much. Beyond that personal motivation to remain standing the Consort knew that he had to make sure everything was to Sable's liking, particularly with Lilit tagging along for the right. His lips curled into a small smile at the sheer amount of violence the trio of Consort, Lilith and Origin would almost certainly produce at the party later in the night, wondering idly if he could find the time to meet a few choice human females. As long as it involved him spending time away from the rest of the Immortui's upper echelons, Valen would be sure to do all in his power to find his own forms of entertainment flirting during his occasional patrols orbiting the others in part as security, but mostly in his role as a supervisor. I can never be too careful when it comes to the others. Even if there's no one brave enough to invade the Immortui's stronghold as of yet, I'm sure the humans are not going to be too pleased with what's about to come...

Marie Sangreal fretted in front of her bathroom mirror for quite some time before she settled on a look for the night. Two weeks prior to this moment, she had sold one of her paintings to a wealthy man named Damien. He had in return, aside from paying her the hefty sum of money the painting had cost, in cash, invited her to a party he would be hosting this night. He had told her that quite a number of wealthy members of society would be attending, and with her painting clearly on display, she might just be able to make a few connections, even a commission or two if she were lucky. She couldn't just pass up a chance like that. In her career choice, connections were everything. If no one knew your name, you would be just another starving artist struggling to get people to even look at your work. Honestly Marie could care less about the money, she had always managed to get by, she just wanted people to see her work and appreciate it for what it was.
Marie was just making the finishing touches to her outfit when she heard her friend calling out from the other room. "Almost ready! Go ahead and call the cab." Marie called back to her, giving herself a final look over before leaving her small bathroom and joining her friend and plus one for the party in the living room. Marie stepped out in a simple emerald green dress, the style similar to Marilyn Monroe's famous white dress, only shorter, falling to the knee instead of mid calf. Accenting it was silver and pearl earrings, a silver charm bracelet, and silver strappy heels. Her hair hung free and loosely curled over her shoulders. Marie fiddled with the fringe of her dress nervously as her friend chatted in animated excitement about the party, and how grateful she was that Marie was taking her along. In a few moments, the taxi was waiting outside for them, and the two girls sped off to Damien's estate.

Arriving at the limo Kael kept his pace in line with Sable as he gave a nod to Valen before whisking Sable into the vehicle. "Sparing no expense it seems huh Valen" he laughed a bit patting the man on the shoulder. His little Host had come up to them asking for there presence but Kael had simply shooed her away from them as he had it under control. "Now then we should hurry to the party before fashionably late is no longer a good excuse" he chuckled.

"Let's not waste any more time, then! I'm practically dying of thirst!" Sable exclaimed from inside the limo, looking absolutely giddy at this current point in time. How kind of Damien, to invite her and her precious family! If she did not feast on him that night, she would certainly have to find a way to thank him for this opprotunity. ...Who was she kidding? Her presence was thanks enough!
"I don't see why not, I guess..." Jane muttured, getting herself up as well.

Valen nodded to his brother (of sorts) after the firm pat on the pack, almost allowing himself to grow a smile at the praise of his mandatory compulsion to ensure his mistress's safety. Almost. "But of course not. If I spared a single detail our spoiled darling would simply refuse to speak to me ever again." He soon stepped inside the limousine shortly after all of the others, seating himself naturally on the far eastern most cushions close to the dark tinted window separating the passengers from the driver's section of the machine. Letting his eyelids slide shut over his reddish-brown pupils the Consort released a small breath of pent-up tension, folding his arms across his chest and crossing his legs left over right for a position to let him sleep during the trip. He wasn't feeling in a particularly talkative or playful mood like the others, as he intended on preserving as much energy as necessary. He was still uneasy about Wayan's party should he be pressed to confess to it; there was just some strange sensation of being around non-Clan humans that reminded him of what he once had been and lost.

"Yay!" Happily, Ava drew Jane into the bedroom and fell with her onto the bed, then cuddled. "Thank you, Janie." She hummed happily as she closed her eyes, then fell asleep.

It took nearly twenty minutes for the taxi to get from Marie's apartment deep in the city, to the Wayan Estate. Marie payed the driver and stepped out of the vehicle with her friend close behind her. Marie looked up at the mason and couldn't belief the size of it. She had known that the man who bought her painting was rich, but she didn't realize that he was rolling in millions. "Oh goodness..." Marie murmured , walking up to the front doors. An attendant of some sort asked for them to show their invitation, and offered to take their coats. Walking in, Marie tried first off to find their host so that they might greet him, thank him for the information, etc etc. In the process of searching though, Marie couldn't help but notice a few famous pieces of art adorning the walls and tables. She was beginning to wonder how any of her pieces had ever made it among the original Van Gogh, and Peter Paul Rubens, even a Damien Hirst painting. It was quite a mix match of styles and eras, but somehow it seemed to work. As Marie was so distracted by the various works of art in the room, it was actually her friend who first caught sight of Damien among the crowd of people. Marie let Evelyn pull her through the crowd to their host.
