**To Bring a Book Alive**

[The Jolly Victini]

Daring Do entered the cave and saw a huge sheet of glass separating the long room. "For the first test, you must walk on each side of the glass and mimic each other's movements exactly. The slightest flaw and you will fail."  

[Fenrir Shade]

"Alright, here's the plan. We walk in a straight line, looking straight ahead, not moving a single muscle other than walking. Hold your breath even." explains Rainbow.  

[The Jolly Victini]

"That's too easy. He's probably got tricks waiting for us to make us slip up. Just keep complete focus on each other, and if one slips, the other has to as well."  

[Fenrir Shade]

"Alright, good point. We walk sideways, always watching eachother." says Rainbow.  

[The Jolly Victini]

"No talking either. He'll probably count that." Daring Do got on the other side of the window of Rainbow Dash and began to walk step after step. "So far so good." she thought.  

[Fenrir Shade]

Rainbow matched her move for move. Step for step.  

[The Jolly Victini]

Daring Do breathed a mental sigh of relief. So far so-- soon to speak. A small wire tripped Daring up. She desprately tried to make her tumble as slow as possible for Dash to keep up.  

[Fenrir Shade]

Rainbow Dash was luckily paying attention and threw herself to the floor as well. She slowly moved herself to get up, making deliberate motions to assure their accurate duplication.  

[The Jolly Victini]

Daring mimicked Rainbow's motions to regain balance and continued. "That was TOO close." she thought.  

[Fenrir Shade]

Rainbow could see a large pendulum suspended above Daring, ready to swing. She drops to the floor to try and save her.  

[The Jolly Victini]

Daring dropped to the ground with Dash just in time to see the pendulum barely graze her hat. She breathed a sigh of relief as she noticed the end was close and began to pick up the pace until they were finally clear of the first test.

"Excellent. You two were perfectly in sync. Now, for the next test." The doors opened up into a simple room with no furnishings, but two circles in the center. The next test. The test of mimicked thoughts."  

[Fenrir Shade]

"What? Do you think we're sy- syko- tele-..." complains Rainbow, struggling to recall the word.  

[The Jolly Victini]

"Psychic?" Daring finished.  

[Fenrir Shade]

"Yeah. That." she responds, slightly ashamed.  

[The Jolly Victini]

"No. Nothing of psychic abilities will be needed here. You two will select one pony to silence and the other pony to speak. I will give a topic, and the speaker must guess what the other pony is thinking. If you are two of a kind, this should be no problem. If you fail, you will perish. Now, choose."

Daring Do turned to Dash. "Well, you seem to know more about me than I do myself, so you should be the speaker." Daring suggested.
