[Serenla the Cat]

Scatty kept herself from running, and briskly walked up to meet Martini before he was even off the porch.

"Do they know what happened? Any injuries? Was it an intentional attack? Is there anyone from the crash?" she demanded, her accent making her fast words even harder to understand as she through question after question at him, rapid fire. She needed to know what was going on.

Teddy tensed up a bit.
"Ella, I'm scared... What does he want with me?" he asked, uncertainty entering his eyes.

Ella sighed.
"You made my day."
She'd heard it many times before, and it was usually followed by her recieving a large wad of bills and walking away.
She rested her head on Teddy's shoulder and hugged him.
Teddy.
She loved the name.
So sweet and innocent.
She giggled as she repeated it to herself quietly. "Teddy, Teddy, Teddy..."

Fae stormed up the stairs and rushed into the guest room. She was use to seeing Ella with strangers but she was still stunned at the sight of the boy. He looked much too pure to be from around here.
She walked over to the two and said to Teddy, "Excuse me, but who are you?"

Teddy was startled by the sudden appearance, but nonetheless, he sputtered out an answer.
"I-I'm Teddy, Ma'am." he said, his voice gentle and nervous.

Fae glanced over to her daughter, who was lost in a daze that Fae was all too familiar with.
Ella was in love, but whether or not she knew it was beyond Fae.
Fae knelt down next to Teddy and said kindly, "It's nice to meet you, Teddy. I don't get to meet many of Ella's friends."
Ella's ears bent back, and she looked away. "Friends." Right.
Fae continued and said, "So Teddy, do you need anything to eat, or drink, or somethin'?"

Upon the mention of food, Teddy's stomach growled again. Teddy blushed nervously.
"Uh... may I have some breakfast, please?" he asked politely.

Martini walked past Scathach, stopping right after her. "Officially, nobody knows. Unofficially, I think that the white dog in there is what crashed into their yard... On him, I can tell he has severe amnesia, and either incredible powers or he's a telepath. On the family, Ella, the daughter, seems like a tart, whether her mother knows so or not. "He looked back at Scathach. "Are you satisfied with my work, General?"

Fae smiled and nodded. "I'll call you two when it's ready," she said calmly, exiting the room.
Ella moved her hand down Teddy's arm. It was stronger than she thought it'd be. She remembered what the knight had said.
"What was the knight talking about?" she asked Teddy, "Why did he think you're powerful and whatnot?"

"I don't know. He entered my mind and a white light just sort of... pushed him out." Teddy said.
His ear drooped slowly, showing that he was now beginning to relax. Most like from Ella's attention.

She wondered who he really was, and where he came from. She desperately wanted to know; less for curiosity and more to help him.
It hurt to to think that, somewhere, this guy might have a girlfriend, or fiancée, or even a wife who was looking for him.
She didn't want this to end up like one of those pet movies, where the person finds a lost pet and then has to give it back.
She kissed Teddy's cheek. She wasn't willing to share him with anyone.

Teddy took another bite of the breakfast Fae had made for everyone. It was delicious, unlike anything he had ever had. Teddy swallowed his bite and spoke.
"This is delicious! Um... what did you call it again?" he asked.

"It's a pancake," Fae explained happily, "And I'm glad you like it!"
Ella ate a normal amount of food, and though it was fairly good, she knew she'd have to get rid of it later.
She turned to Teddy and asked,"So you like the food?"

Teddy nodded, his cheeks full of pancake and a drop of syrup streaking down from his mouth. He had a big happy grin of his face as he chewed.

Ella chuckled and watched him. He was like a little kid! So cute!
She nudged his foot under the table and bit her lip with a smile.
What's this feeling? It's a new kind of Lust to me...

Teddy swallowed the last of his pancake, took down all of his orange juice and wiped his mouth.
"Thank you so much Miss White! It really was good!"
Teddy felt Ella nudge his foot under the table. He looked her in the eyes. Upon seeing her smile, he smiled in return. It felt so good to not be so focused on why he couldn't remember anything and enjoy what's happening now.
